Tippecanoe Place

The K. C. DeRhodes House was built for newlyweds Laura Caskey Bowsher DeRhodes and Kersey C. DeRhodes in 1906 by Frank Lloyd Wright. It is a Prairie style home located at 715 West Washington Street in South Bend, Indiana. The home was carefully restored by Tom and Suzanne Miller over more than four decades and remains in private ownership. It is one of two Wright homes in South Bend, the other being the Herman T. Mossberg Residence. It is one of eight Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes in Indiana, of which seven remain. It was also the first home Frank Lloyd Wright built in Indiana.

The Hager House is a historic home located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was designed by architects Austin & Shambleau and built in 1910, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Shingle Style dwelling. It has a gambrel roof with front eaves and a large gable roof dormer. It features a front porch with a bellcast roof supported by brick end piers and fluted Doric order columns.: 66 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Sister Maura Brannick Health Center is a primary care clinic located in South Bend, Indiana that focuses on medical treatment for uninsured patients. Also known as the Chapin Street Clinic, the clinic provides health and dental care to those who do not have access to Medicare or Medicaid and cannot afford private health insurance. The Health Center relies on 30 volunteer physicians and around 30 student and community volunteers, along with its one staffed physician and two nurses, to meet the needs of its 600 patients.

South Bend Remedy Company Building is a historic building located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1895, and is a two-story, transitional Queen Anne / Classical Revival style brick and limestone building. It features a recessed entrance, round turret topped by a conical roof, and a wide frieze band of garlands and torches. It was built to house the offices and laboratory for the South Bend Remedy Company, a mail order patent medicine business.: 38–39  It was moved to 501 W. Colfax Ave. in 1988, and then to 402 W. Washington St. in 2003.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985 and again in 2001. It is located in the West Washington Historic District.

Chauncey N. Lawton House, also known as the office of Diamond & Diamond Attorneys at Law, is a historic home located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1872, and is a two-story, asymmetrical plan, Italian Villa style brick dwelling. It features a three-story tower; round arched openings; polygonal bays; and paired, scrolled, and incised brackets.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Morey House is a historic apartment house located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It was built in 1909, and is a large 2+1⁄2-story, building with a brick first story and stuccoed upper stories in an American Craftsman vernacular style. It has an irregular plan and features two small square porches with balconies on the corners of the front facade.: 22 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Joseph D. Oliver House, also known as Copshaholm, sits on 808 W. Washington Street, at the corner of Chapin Street in South Bend, Indiana. The mansion was built for the Oliver family, founders of the Oliver Chilled Plow Works, and named after the Scottish village of the patriarch. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1895–96, Copshaholm is a 38-room Romanesque Queen Anne house designed by New York architect Charles Alonzo Rich. The furnishings on all three floors are original, giving visitors a glimpse of how the mansion appeared during the 72 years the Oliver family had occupancy. Oak, cherry and mahogany woodwork are found throughout Copshaholm. Leaded glass windows and 14 unique fireplaces add to the beauty of the house. The furnishings include porcelains, glass, silver, prints, and bronzes, including some by Bartolozzi and Lorado Taft. The furniture is all original and display beautiful antiques. Surrounding Copshaholm are 2.5 acres (10,000 m2) of landscaped gardens, including a garden tea house, formal Italianate garden, rose garden, pergola, tennis lawn, and fountain.

Morey-Lampert House or Rose-Morey-Lamport House is a historic home located at South Bend, Indiana, United States. It is located in the West Washington Historic District. The home is designated a national historic landmark on the National Register of Historic Places (since 1985), and a local landmark as designated by the Historic Preservation Commission of South Bend and St. Joseph County.It was built in 1895, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Queen Anne style dwelling. The first story is of sandstone ashlar and the second story is sheathed in wood shingles. It features a wraparound porch and round corner tower topped by a conical roof.: 64 The home was built as the residence of Dr. George P. Morey and his wife, Frances Helen Rose Morey, between 1894 and 1896.

South Bend Central High School (originally called South Bend High School) is a historic high school complex located at 303 West Colfax Avenue in South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, USA. It was built between 1911 and 1913, and is a two- to three-story, eclectic red brick building with limestone trim. It sits on a raised foundation. Located behind the main building is a two-story former Vocational Building, built about 1918, that was incorporated into the main building in 1928. The school closed as a high school in 1970.: 58–59  The building was later used for middle school classes and adult education programs. The school was known for strong academics, top athletic teams and school spirit. The Central Bears basketball team won two Indiana state championships, four semi-state championships, 12 regional championships, and 28 sectional championships. Famed UCLA basketball coach John Wooden coached basketball and baseball teams for nine years at Central, before entering the United States Navy. The school's basketball team was featured in the 1986 film Hoosiers as the fictional team that lost the 1952 Indiana state championship basketball game to the fictional Hickory High School, which in the film had an enrollment of 64 students. The film was based on the 1954 Milan High School basketball team, which did win the Indiana High School Boys Basketball Tournament championship in 1954. With an enrollment of only 161, Milan was the smallest school ever to win a single-class state basketball title in Indiana, beating a team from the much larger Muncie Central High School in a classic game known as the Milan Miracle. The South Central school building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.In 1995, the building was converted into 106 apartments, each with a unique floor plan containing features preserved from the original building, including a part of the old school gym that still bears the original painted floor lines in one apartment; another has a sunken living room which was a part of the school's indoor pool with depth markings intact. Several other apartments have original classroom chalkboards on the walls. The complex, which is privately owned, is known as Central High Apartments.

Knights of Columbus-South Bend Indiana Club is a historic Knights of Columbus building located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana, United States. It was built in 1924, and is a three-story, Renaissance Revival style brick and terra cotta building. The building features round arched windows with radiating voussoirs of brick and terra cotta.: 28 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

The Museums at Washington and Chapin are several museums that share a campus in South Bend, Indiana. The name is derived from the location, at the corner of Washington Street and Chapin Street in South Bend. Both museums have one common entrance off Thomas Street, one block south of Washington Street. The museums currently include the History Museum and Studebaker National Museum.

West LaSalle Avenue Historic District is a national historic district located at South Bend, St. Joseph County, Indiana. It encompasses 33 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures in a predominantly residential section of South Bend. It developed between about 1870 and 1930, and includes notable examples of Italianate, Queen Anne, Late Gothic Revival, and Beaux-Arts style architecture and works by architects Austin & Shambleau. Notable buildings include the St. Peter's Church (1927), Frank Eby House (1904), Lydia Klinger House (1900), Woodworth House (c. 1890), Woolman House (1880), Goetz House (1892), Studebaker House (c. 1880), Kuppler House (1885), and the Gunderman House (c. 1900).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.
