RAF Welford

Poughley Priory was a priory of Austin Canons at Chaddleworth in the English county of Berkshire, located between Great Shefford and Leckhampstead. It was established around 1160 and dissolved in 1525.

It is a Grade I-listed building.The church of Welford St Gregory, one of only two existing round-tower churches in Berkshire, is located adjacent to the house. The various chalk streams that make up the River Lambourn flow through the grounds. The estate opens its grounds to the public every year for about four weeks to enable visitors to see the carpets of snowdrops that line the riverbanks and flow through the nearby woods.

West Berkshire Golf Club is a golf club located in Chaddleworth, Berkshire, England. It is located about 3 miles from Woodlands St Mary. The club was established in 1975. The course was designed by Robin Stagg and Paul Simpson. The course provides a good challenge for all standards of player thanks to a choice of tee position, ranging from 5,450 yards to a championship length of over 7,000 yards. There are a total of 18 holes present in the course.

Easton Farm Meadow is a 1.6-hectare (4.0-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Easton, west of Boxford in Berkshire. It is in the North Wessex Downs.The site is lowland neutral grassland In the past the meadows around Easton Farm were managed traditionally as 'floated' water meadows.

Boxford railway station was a railway station in Boxford, Berkshire, England on the Lambourn Valley Railway. The hut has been saved from being destroyed as a disused bus shelter and is now being restored by the GWSR for use on their site.

Boxford Water Meadows is a 13.9-hectare (34-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Boxford in Berkshire. It is part of the Kennet & Lambourn Floodplain Special Area of Conservation.The site comprises disused water meadows and flood pastures in the valley of the River Lambourn. Recorded flora include seventeen species of grass, seven of sedge and seventy-six of grassland herb, some of which are characteristic of ancient meadows which have not been improved or disturbed, such as devil's-bit scabious, water avens and Blysmus compressus, which is an uncommon flat-sedge. There is also a diverse insect fauna. The site is private land with no public access.

Boxford Chalk Pit is a 0.4-hectare (0.99-acre) geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Boxford in Berkshire. It is a Geological Conservation Review site.This site has a unique succession of tilted beds dating to the Upper Cretaceous, between the late Coniacian and the Santonian, from around 87 to 84 million years ago. The beds are overlain by chalk which contains fractured and folded pieces of hardground, which are interpreted as evidence of localised tectonism unknown in the rest of Britain in this period. There are also coprolites and many tiny fish teeth.

Sole Common Pond is a 3-hectare (7.4-acre) nature reserve south-west of Boxford in Berkshire in Berkshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.It consists of a Sphagnum fringed pond, heath, wet woodland and a wildflower meadow.
