KTMT-FM (93.7 MHz, "Joy! 93.7") is a commercial Christian contemporary music radio station in Medford, Oregon, United States, broadcasting to the Medford-Ashland, Oregon area. The station is currently owned by Stephens Media Group.

Mount Ashland ski area is located on 7,532-foot (2,296 m) Mount Ashland and features 44 trails on 200 acres (0.81 km2) served by four lifts, including expert terrain in a glacial cirque called The Bowl. The mountain averages 235" of snow annually, with a season from early December until mid-April. 7% Of terrain is rated Beginner, 41% is Intermediate, 41% is Advanced, and 11% is Expert.

Wagner Butte is a summit in the U.S. state of Oregon. The elevation is 7,251 feet (2,210 m).Wagner Butte was named in 1852 after one Jacob Wagner.

Colestin is an unincorporated community in Jackson County, Oregon, United States. It is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west of Siskiyou Pass and 10 miles (16 km) south-southeast of Ashland along Colestin Road, which connects to Interstate 5 via Mount Ashland Road. Colestin is adjacent to part of the Klamath National Forest in the Siskiyou Mountains.The community is named after Byron Cole, who with his brother settled a donation land claim straddling the Oregon–California border and established a stagecoach station called Cole's. After selling his interest in the station in 1859, Byron Cole acquired land and a mineral spring further north. In 1883, anticipating completion of a railroad between the two states, he built a hotel at the site. In August that year, a post office was established there and named White Point. Ed J. Farlow was the first postmaster and Cole the second. In 1892, the post office name was changed to Colestin, and it operated under that name until closing in 1943.The change in the post office name was preceded by construction of a Southern Pacific (SP) railway station at this location. In 1887, the SP had leased the Oregon and California Railroad line, which had extended as far south as Ashland by 1884. The SP then completed the line, connecting it to existing SP tracks in northern California. A railway timetable from that era lists Hornbrook as the next station south of Cole's on the SP's Mt. Shasta Route between Portland and San Francisco.

Chocolate Falls is a waterfall in the Bear Gulch valley, east side of the Klamath National Forest, south of Ashland in Jackson County, Oregon. Access to Chocolate Falls is from Colestin Road, south of the Trashi Chöling Buddhist Center and Temple Garden. Bear Gulch valley and its surrounding Mudusa Flat forest has several caves, as well as meadows and old-growth sugar pine. The Pacific Crest Trail passes just north of Chocolate Falls.

Ropers Bunion is a summit in the U.S. state of Oregon. The elevation is 2,090 feet (640 m).Ropers Bunion was named after Fordyce Roper, a local industrialist.

Southern Oregon University (SOU) is a public university in Ashland, Oregon. It was founded in 1872 as the Ashland Academy, has been in its current location since 1926, and was known by nine other names before assuming its current name in 1997. Its Ashland campus – just 14 miles from Oregon's border with California – encompasses 175 acres. Five of SOU's newest facilities have achieved LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. SOU is headquarters for Jefferson Public Radio and public access station Rogue Valley Community Television. The university has been governed since 2015 by the SOU Board of Trustees.Southern Oregon University is organized into seven academic divisions: the Oregon Center for the Arts at SOU; Business, Communication and the Environment; Education, Health and Leadership; Humanities and Culture; Social Sciences; Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics; and Undergraduate Studies. About 90 bachelor's degree, graduate and certificate programs are offered. Most of SOU's academic programs are on the 10-week quarter system. Lithia Park is the largest and most central park of Ashland, Oregon, United States. It consists of 93 acres (380,000 m2) of forested canyonland around Ashland Creek, stretching from the downtown plaza up toward its headwaters near Mount Ashland. Its name originates from lithium oxide (Li2O) or "lithia," which is found in the stream water pumped to the park. The park has two large greens, a bandshell for public musical performances, two duck ponds, a large playground, tennis courts, community buildings and, in winter, an ice skating rink. It also offers picnic areas and miles of hiking trails. The park was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It features a Japanese garden.

Mountain View Cemetery (also known as Resthaven Crypts and Niches) is a cemetery in Ashland, Oregon, in the United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994 "in recognition of its historic significance and fine array of mortuary art and craftsmanship". In 2013, the cemetery was listed with the Oregon Commission on Historical Cemeteries.
