Plum Borough School District

Plum is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 27,144 at the 2020 census. A suburb of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area, it is located northeast of the city in what is commonly referred to as the East Hills suburbs. Plum is often referred to as "Plum Boro" or more correctly "Plum Borough" by locals to distinguish it from its previous status as a township. It was founded as Plum Township in 1788 and was reorganized as a borough in 1956. The borough took its name from nearby Plum Creek.

Plum Senior High School is a public high school and the only high school in Plum Borough School District located at 900 Elicker Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15239, United States. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, in the 2019–2020 school year, the school reported an enrollment of 1,162 pupils in grades 9th through 12th.

Boyce Park is a 1,096-acre (4.44 km2) county park lying mostly in the Borough of Plum, in eastern Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is a part of the county's 12,000-acre (49 km2) network of nine distinct parks. Its southernmost reaches (south of Old Frankstown Road) also extend into neighboring Monroeville. Established in 1963, it is named for William D. Boyce, the founder of the Boy Scouts of America, who was born in the area. It is sited 15 miles (24 km) east of downtown Pittsburgh. It is the only park in the county for downhill skiing, with ski lifts and a lodge. It also offers a wave pool, tennis courts, ball fields, a nature center, greenhouse, arboretum and trails. The source of Plum Creek is in the northwest section of the park.

Logans Ferry Powder Works Historic District is a historic district in Plum, Pennsylvania. These powder works were started in 1918, and they produced explosive bronze-aluminum powder for use in fireworks and other explosives and pigments for Alcoa. The works were listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 7, 1998. the plant was being dismantled as of 3/6/2015
