Adlisberg

Loorenkopf tower is a 33-metre (108 ft) high freestanding wood lattice tower on Adlisberg, north of Witikon in Zürich, Switzerland. It was built in 1954. The tower is owned by Zürich city and it is open to the public. The tower is located within the forest at an altitude of 694 m (2,277 ft). The upper platform is reached by 153 steps. On a clear day with high visibility, you can see Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Witikon is a quarter in the district 7 in Zürich. It was formerly a municipality of its own, having been incorporated into Zürich in 1934. The quarter has a population of 9,864 distributed on an area of 4.93 km2 (1.90 sq mi). Witikon is located between the southwestern flank of the Adlisberg and the western flank of the Öschbrig.

District 7 is a district east of the old town in the Swiss city of Zürich. The district comprises the quarters Fluntern, Hottingen, Hirslanden and Witikon. All entities were formerly municipalities of their own, but were incorporated into Zürich in 1893 (Witikon in 1934).

The Dolder Grand (formerly known as Grand Hotel Dolder) is a 5 star superior hotel in the Swiss city of Zürich. It is located on Adlisberg hill, some 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from, and 200 metres (660 ft) above, the city centre. Built in 1899, the hotel spreads out over 40,000 square metres (430,000 sq ft) and offers 173 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, 13 conference rooms and a 4,000-square-metre (43,000 sq ft) spa.The hotel is connected to central Zurich by road, and by the Dolderbahn rack railway, which has its upper terminus next to the hotel complex.

The World Freestyle Football Association (WFFA) is the international governing body of freestyle football.Freestyle football is defined as an art and sport, which involves participants creatively juggling a ball using all parts of the body to entertain audiences and outperform opponents; it combines street culture of football tricks, dance, acrobatics and music.

The Futsal Association of Uganda (FAU) is the national governing body of futsal in Uganda. Since 2019 it has been an associate member of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). FAU had its first annual general meeting on 12 September 2019 at Kenedia Hotel Kampala.

The Fédération internationale de football association (FIFA; ; French for International Association Football Federation) is the international governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal. It was founded in 1904 to oversee international competition among the national associations of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland. Headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, its membership now comprises 211 national associations. These national associations must each also be members of one of the six regional confederations into which the world is divided: CAF (Africa), AFC (Asia and Australia), UEFA (Europe), CONCACAF (North & Central America and the Caribbean), OFC (Oceania) and CONMEBOL (South America). FIFA outlines a number of objectives in the organizational Statutes, including growing association football internationally, providing efforts to ensure it is accessible to everyone, and advocating for integrity and fair play. It is responsible for the organization and promotion of association football's major international tournaments, notably the World Cup which commenced in 1930 and the Women's World Cup which commenced in 1991. Although FIFA does not solely set the laws of the game, that being the responsibility of the International Football Association Board of which FIFA is a member, it applies and enforces the rules across all FIFA competitions. All FIFA tournaments generate revenue from sponsorship; in 2018, FIFA had revenues of over US $4.6 billion, ending the 2015–2018 cycle with a net positive of US$1.2 billion, and had cash reserves of over US$2.7 billion.Reports by investigative journalists have linked FIFA leadership with corruption, bribery, and vote-rigging related to the election of FIFA president Sepp Blatter and the organization's decision to award the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively. These allegations led to the indictments of nine high-ranking FIFA officials and five corporate executives by the U.S. Department of Justice on charges including racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering. On 27 May 2015, several of these officials were arrested by Swiss authorities, who were launching a simultaneous but separate criminal investigation into how the organization awarded the 2018 and 2022 World Cups. Those among these officials who were also indicted in the U.S. are expected to be extradited to face charges there as well.Many officials were suspended by FIFA's ethics committee including Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini. In early 2017, reports became public about FIFA president Gianni Infantino attempting to prevent the re-elections of both chairmen of the ethics committee, Cornel Borbély and Hans-Joachim Eckert, during the FIFA congress in May 2017. On 9 May 2017, following Infantino's proposal, FIFA Council decided not to renew the mandates of Borbély and Eckert. Together with the chairmen, 11 of 13 committee members were removed. FIFA has been suspected of corruption regarding the Qatar FIFA World Cup.

The Federación Internacional de Fútbol Rápido, commonly known by the acronym FIFRA, was the international governing body of indoor soccer (Spanish: fútbol rápido). From 2008–2013 FIFRA was responsible for the organization and governance of indoor soccer's major international tournaments. In North America, the MASL umbrella of leagues were official affiliates of FIFRA, including the Professional Arena Soccer League and Premier Arena Soccer League.

Zürich Rehalp railway station (German: Bahnhof Zürich Rehalp) is a railway station and tram stop in the Swiss canton of Zürich, on the boundary between the city of Zürich and the municipality of Zollikon. The station is located on the line of the Forchbahn (FB), which is operated as Zürich S-Bahn service S18. The station is operated by Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich and Forchbahn AG and is the first true railway station on the S18 outbound from its city terminus at Zürich Stadelhofen FB. Between Stadelhofen and a point immediately to the city side of Rehalp station, the S18 operates over the tracks of the Zürich tram network, stopping at selected tram stops. Beyond Rehalp, the service operates on its own dedicated right of way.On the opposite side of the Forchstrasse main road lies the turnaround loop and platforms for route 11 of the Zürich tram system, which operates over the same tracks as the S18 between Stadelhofen and Rehalp, but serving all intermediate tram stops.

The Mahmood Mosque, (German: Mahmud Moschee) situated in Forchstrasse, Zurich, is the first purpose-built mosque in Switzerland. It is owned and run by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The mosque has a minaret, the new construction of which is now banned in Switzerland by popular vote.The foundation stone was laid with a stone from the wall of the Mubarak Mosque, India by Amatul Hafeez Begum, daughter of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad on August 25, 1962. It was a sign of the emancipation of Muslim women, both then and now. The mosque was inaugurated on June 22, 1963, by the then President of the 17th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Sir Muhammad Zafarullah Khan, in the presence of the Mayor of Zurich, Dr. Emil Landolt. The mission in Switzerland was led by Mushtaq Ahmad Bajwa from June 1962 until January 1975.

Pfaffhausen (also known as Pffaffhausen) is a settlement in the municipality of Fällanden in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland. It has an elevation of 597 m, and lies in the valley between the northern flank of the Öschbrig and the southeastern slope of the Adlisberg. Pfaffhausen borders the Zürich quarter of Witikon to the west, the settlement of Binz (belonging to Maur) to the south, and the settlement of Benglen, also part of Fällanden, to the east. It is very easily accessible by public transportation from Zurich and Volketswil.

Öschbrig (also known as Oetlisberg) with an elevation of 696 metres (2,283 ft), is a wooded mountain in Switzerland overlooking to the east Zürichsee (Lake Zürich).
