Feanwâlden is a railway station located in Feanwâlden, Netherlands. The station was opened on 1 June 1866 and is located on the Harlingen–Nieuweschans railway between Leeuwarden and Groningen. Train services are operated by Arriva. The station was called Veenwouden (the Dutch name for the village) until 12 December 2015 when it was renamed Feanwâlden. This is to reflect the Frisian name of the town, which was changed in 2009.

Readtsjerk (Dutch: Roodkerk) is a village in the Dantumadiel municipality of Friesland, the Netherlands. It had a population of around 185 in 2017.The village consists of a few small and sparsely populated neighborhoods and has no real residential center. Together with the almost similar village Mûnein it forms a kind of twin village, under the name Mûnein-Readtsjerk . North to northeast of the village lies a restored windmill called De Hoop.

De Hoop (English: The Hope) is a smock mill in Readtsjerk, Friesland, Netherlands which was built in 1911. The mill has been restored to working order. It is listed as a Rijksmonument.

Quatrebras is a hamlet in Tytsjerksteradiel in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands. Quatrebras (four arms) is the French word for crossroads. In this case, it is the intersection of the roads N355 and N356. The hamlet was best known for its disco, Club Quatrebras (later renamed Club Q), however the COVID-19 pandemic caused the permanent closure in 2021. In December 2021, the building was demolished.Quatrebras is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Noardburgum. It has place name signs, and consists of about 35 houses.

In the period 2006–2008, the restaurant was awarded a Bib Gourmand.GaultMillau awarded the restaurant 15 out of 20 points.Head chef of Frouckje State is Gilbert van der Heide. He took over the reign of the kitchen in 2006, when chef René Vaartjes left.Frouckje State is in existence from 1976, as a party centre and restaurant. After many changes of ownership, Thom van der Heide and Johan Oordijk acquired the farmstead in 2003. They upgraded the restaurant to a fine dining restaurant. John Oordijk sold his part in the company to Maître d'hôtel Thom van der Heide, effective per 1 January 2010.
