Backwoods Gallery is a contemporary art gallery located in the Melbourne suburb of Collingwood, Australia. Founded in August 2010 the gallery exhibits Australian and international artists with a focus on urban contemporary art, street art and illustration. In December 2013, Complex magazine listed Backwoods Gallery in the top ten "Street Art Galleries You Should Know About".

The Austral Picture Theatre was a theatre and cinema built in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia. It opened in 1921 as a theatre and later became a roller skate rink. It is currently used as a carpet store, with plans to partially demolish the building to make way for apartments.

Russian House (Russian: Русский Дом в Мельбурне) is a Russian cultural centre located in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia. The building was constructed in 1884 for the Collingwood & Fitzory United Friendly Societies' Dispensary, who used the building until 1968 when it became a cultural centre. The building has since been home to a large variety of cultural activities and performances for the local Russian community and Russian speakers alike. The building is listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.

Collingwood College is a government school located in the inner-city suburb of Collingwood, close to the Melbourne CBD. Established in 1882, it is one of Melbourne's oldest inner city schools.The school has two modern campuses: its main campus is near Hoddle Street, on the corner of Cromwell Street and McCutcheon Way. As of 2022, it shares a senior campus for VCE students with Fitzroy High School.

The Centre for Contemporary Photography (CCP), in Fitzroy, Melbourne, Victoria, is a venue for the exhibition of contemporary photo-based arts, providing a context for the enjoyment, education, understanding and appraisal of contemporary practice.

The Smith St Hotel is a live music venue and pub located in Collingwood, Victoria. It opened in 1861 adjacent to the Fitzroy Gasworks as the Gasometer Hotel, known colloquially as The Gaso. Over its history, it has served as a hub for local musicians. Throughout the late 20th and 21st century, it went through several changes in ownership before closing most recently in February 2025. It reopened with its current name on 24 July, 2026. The building is a two storeyed stuccoed stone hotel on Smith Street, with a single storey section facing Alexandra Parade. In 2014, its yellow and black exterior was painted red.

St Mark's Anglican Church is an Anglican parish church located in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy, Victoria, Australia. Built between 1853–1855 to the designs of James Blackburn with later additions in subsequent years, the bluestone church has since served the local Anglican community. The church and series of associated buildings in the immediate vicinity, are listed on the Victorian Heritage Register.

It was defined initially as: Commencing at the Junction of Nicholson Street and Victoria Parade, thence by the Western side of Nicholson Street to the Northern Boundary of the Corporate Limits of Melbourne, thence on the North by the said Boundary Line bearing East to the Merri Merri Creek, thence by the Merri Merri Creek to its Junction with the Yarra Yarra River, thence by the Yarra Yarra River to the South-east Corner of Section No. 63, Parish of Jika Jika, thence by a Line West to Victoria Street, and thence on the South by the Northern Side of Victoria Street and Victoria Parade to the commencing Point.
