The A441 Evesham Road is the main trunk road through Astwood Bank from Redditch. Astwood Bank has an annual carnival. The carnival has been a big part of the village for over 30 years.

Saint Augustine's Catholic High School and Sixth Form is a Catholic High School in Hunt End in the town of Redditch, Worcestershire, England. The school was opened in 1974. The school converted to academy status on 1 July 2014. The school is part of the three tier system, serving as the High School stage, teaching children from the ages of 13–18 (Yr9 to Yr13). In 2019, 77% of the Yr11 students achieved 5 or more standard passes at GCSE, including Mathematics and English. 88% of students achieved a standard pass in English (grade 4) whilst 75% achieved a strong pass (grade 5). 81% of students gained a standard pass in Mathematics (grade 4) and 64% a strong pass (grade 5). Students achieved 100%, 9-4 grades in the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Polish. 96% of Sixth Form students gained 3 or more A levels. From a cohort of 104 students, 61 A*/A grades or equivalent were gained. A May 2017 Ofsted Inspection rated the school as outstanding. A March 2019 Section 48 Inspection by the Archdiocese of Birmingham, graded the school as outstanding in all three categories of Catholic Life, Religious Education and Collective Worship. The school has a Maths Block named 'The Canterbury Suite'. The opening was attended by the Jacqui Smith, the former MP for Redditch and former Home Secretary. St. Augustine's is the oldest continuously operating High School in Redditch, and the name has remained unchanged since it was opened in September 1974.

Sambourne, formerly spelled Sambourn, is a village and civil parish 1.5 miles (2.4 km) north-west of Coughton, 4.5 miles (7.2 km) south of Redditch, 12 miles (19 km) north-west of Stratford-upon-Avon and 20 miles (32 km) west of Warwick in the county of Warwickshire, England. It is situated on sloping ground rising westwards to about 500 feet near the ancient Ridge Way, and forms part of the county boundary with Worcestershire. The village itself is centred round a small triangular green at the junction of four roads and contains several timber-framed buildings of 17th century date. By a designation of 22 July 1991 much of the central area became a conservation area.

All street-name signs in Redditch have the street name in white lettering on a blue background and the district name in black lettering on a white background at the bottom of the sign. In the New Town areas the roads are usually named in alphabetical order and house numbering in the cul-de-sac closes is consecutive, starting with number 1 as the first house on the left as you enter, and the highest house number will be on the opposite side of the road as you leave.

Studley & Astwood Bank railway station was a station in Studley, Warwickshire, England. The station was opened on 4 May 1868, passenger train service withdrawn in 1962 officially closed to passengers on 17 June 1963 and closed completely on 6 July 1964.
