Bobbejaanland

Typhoon is a steel roller coaster at the Bobbejaanland amusement park in Lichtaart, Belgium. Typhoon is a Gerstlauer Euro-Fighter model roller coaster, and the second installation of this model line. At 97 degrees, the coaster's first drop is steeper-than-vertical and it has the steepest drop of any roller coaster in Belgium.

Dreamcatcher is a roller coaster in Bobbejaanland in Belgium. Originally opening in 1987 as Air Race, Dreamcatcher was designed and built by Vekoma. It was Europe's first suspended roller coaster.

The Illusion is a fully enclosed tubular steel roller coaster, manufactured by Vekoma. It runs on Vekoma's narrow MK-700 track system. Two were built, both in 1989, Chaos in Opryland USA (Tennessee), and Revolution / Mount Mara in Bobbejaanland (Belgium). Only the one in Belgium is still active.

Fury is a triple launched roller coaster in the Belgian amusement park Bobbejaanland. It opened on June 24, 2019. It is the fastest roller coaster inside Benelux with a maximum speed of 106.6 kilometers per hour. Before the ride, passengers can choose with a voting system whether the ride will be done in the forward or backward direction.

Lichtaart is a village in Belgium, in the province of Antwerp and municipality of Kasterlee. The village is situated near the town, Antwerp. Lichtaart bordered by the Rivers, Nete and Kaliebeek. In 1977, Lichtaart had an area of 25 km ² and had 4229 inhabitants. Lichtaart is notable for the theme park, Bobbejaanland and the folk singer, Bobbejaan Schoepen.

Tielen is a village in the province of Antwerp in Flanders, Belgium. It is part of the municipality of Kasterlee. The nearest city is the neighbouring city of Turnhout. Other neighbouring towns are Vosselaar, Lichtaart, Poederlee, Lille and Gierle. The borders of Tielen are marked by two rivers: The Aa and the Kaliebeek. Almost one third of the village is still covered with pine-woods, heath and swamps. Typical for the Kempen area. The rest of this 1,371-hectare (5.29 sq mi) village is mostly used for residential and agricultural purposes.

Kasterlee (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈkɑstərleː]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the towns of Kasterlee proper, Lichtaart and Tielen. In 2021, Kasterlee had a total population of 19,052. The total area is 71.56 km2. The town is twinned with Plaffeien (Switzerland).

The Katholieke Hogeschool Kempen (KH Kempen, KHK) was a university college where students could obtain a professional bachelor's degree (3 year education) in several domains. There was also the opportunity to study for a master's degree in engineering (4 years) in agriculture (bioscience) or an engineering degree in electronics. In 2012 the institution fused with Lessius Mechelen and Lessius Antwerp under a new name: Thomas More University College.

De Leunen is a football stadium in Geel, in the Belgian province of Antwerp. It has a capacity of 8,000 after the most recent renovation works. It used to be the home ground of K.F.C. Verbroedering Geel until the club went into liquidation in 2008. Subsequently, the neighbouring club of FC Verbroedering Meerhout left their Kattenstadion in Meerhout to play at De Leunen. The club then changed its name to Verbroedering Geel-Meerhout. In 2012 the club changed its same again to ASV Geel.

Herentals (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦeːrəntɑls]) is a city in the province of Antwerp. The municipality comprises the city of Herentals proper and the towns of Morkhoven and Noorderwijk. In 2022, Herentals had a total population of 28.455. The total area is 48.56 km2 (18.75 sq mi). Saint Waltrude is the patron saint of the city.
