Al-Sindiyana (Arabic: السنديانة, Es Sindiyâna) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on May 12, 1948. It was located 29 km south of Haifa.

Ohel Ya'akov Synagogue, located in Zikhron Ya'akov, a town in the Haifa District of Israel, was established in 1886 by Baron Edmond James de Rothschild. Rothschild commissioned the construction the synagogue in memory of his father Jacob Mayer de Rothschild. It was completed in 1884. Its name, Ohel Yaakov, means "Tent of Jacob" and alludes to the biblical Jacob, who "dwelled in tents" according to Genesis 25:27. The synagogue, which has a large main section for men and a second-floor, wraparound women's section, has a Holy ark made of white marble and marble interior walls.

Zikhron Ya'akov (Hebrew: זִכְרוֹן יַעֲקֹב, lit. "Jacob's Memorial"; often shortened to just Zikhron) is a town in Israel, 35 kilometres (22 mi) south of Haifa, and part of the Haifa District. It is located at the southern end of the Carmel mountain range overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, near the coastal highway (Highway 2). It was one of the first Jewish settlements of Halutzim in the country, founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond James de Rothschild and named in honor of his father, James Mayer de Rothschild ("James" being derived from the Hebrew name Ya'akov, Jacob). In 2021 it had a population of 23,857.

Aviel (Hebrew: אֲבִיאֵל) is a moshav in northern Israel. It is located south of Haifa within Alona Regional Council, near Zikhron Yaakov and Binyamina-Giv'at Ada. It had a population of 820 in 2021.

Meir Shfeya (Hebrew: מֵאִיר שְׁפֵיָה) is a youth village and agricultural boarding school in northern Israel. Located near Zikhron Ya'akov, it falls under the jurisdiction of Hof HaCarmel Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 351.

Ramat Hanadiv (Hebrew: רמת הנדיב, Heights of the Benefactor), is a nature park and garden in northern Israel, covering 4.5 km (3 mi) at the southern end of Mount Carmel between Zikhron Ya'akov to the north and Binyamina to the south. The Jewish National Fund planted pine and cypress groves in most of the area.

Alona Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית אלונה, Mo'atza Azorit Alona) is a regional council in northern Israel. It is part of Haifa District and covers three moshavim, Amikam, Aviel and Givat Nili. The council's headquarters are located in Amikam. The emblem is inscribed with Biblical words from Psalm 126:5: "Those who sow in tears, will reap with songs of joy."

The Acre Subdistrict (Arabic: قضاء عكا Qadaa Akka, Hebrew: נפת עכו Nefat Akko) was one of the subdistricts of Mandatory Palestine. It was located in modern-day northern Israel, having nearly the same territory as the modern-day Acre County. The city of Acre was the district's capital. The subdistrict was transformed into Northern District's Acre Subdistrict.

The Jerusalem Subdistrict was one of the subdistricts of Mandatory Palestine. It was located in and around the city of Jerusalem. After the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, on the Israeli side of the Green Line, the district was integrated into the Jerusalem District. On the other side, the West Bank was annexed into Jordan, the subdistrict was merged with Ramallah Subdistrict to form Jerusalem Governorate, one of three Jordanian governorates in the West Bank.

Haifa District (Hebrew: מחוז חיפה, Mehoz Ḥeifa; Arabic: منطقة حيفا) is an administrative district surrounding the city of Haifa, Israel. The district is one of the seven administrative districts of Israel, and its capital is Haifa. The district land area is 864 km2 (299.3 mi2).

Mivtachim Sanitarium or Worker's Convalescent Home (Hebrew: בית ההבראה של "מבטחים") is a Brutalist building in Zikhron Ya'akov, Israel designed by Israeli architect Yaakov Rechter in 1966.

Khirbat al-Shuna or Khirbat ash Shuna was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on March 15, 1948. It was located 32.5 km south of Haifa. Khirbat al-Shuna contained a small archaeological site, Khirbat Tell Mubarak. The area is now part of a JNF park, immediately north of Binyamina-Giv'at Ada.
