The Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO is a graduate business school located near Skolkovo, Moscow Oblast, close to Moscow, Russia. The school, founded in 2006, is a joint project between major Russian and international business leaders. SKOLKOVO Business School is funded solely by its commercial activities and private investment. One of the first SKOLKOVO International Advisory Board members was Lee Kuan Yew, the Minister Mentor of the Republic of Singapore.

The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, or Skoltech, is a private institute located in Moscow, Russia. Skoltech was established in 2011 as part of a multi-year partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Globally, the university in 2023 was ranked # 702 in the world by US News & World Report. It was among the number 65 young university in the world according to Nature Index in 2021. That same year Skoltech entered the subject ranking in physics among young universities for the first time (35th place), and named a rapidly rising university (21st place among young universities). In February 2022 MIT ended its partnership with Skoltech in protest of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Skolkovo Innovation Center is a high technology business area at Mozhaysky District in Moscow, Russia. Although historically Russia has been successful with development of science and technology, its lack of entrepreneur spirit led to government intervention of patents and nonproliferation of Russian tech companies beyond the scope of regional service. As corporations and individuals become "residents" of the city, proposed projects and ideas receive financial assistance. Skolkovo was first announced on 12 November 2009 by then Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The complex is headed by Viktor Vekselberg and co-chaired by former Intel CEO Craig Barrett.

Zarechye (Russian: Заречье) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Odintsovsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia. Population: 6,270 (2010 Census); 5,110 (2002 Census); Leonid Brezhnev died here in 1982.

Mozhaysky District (Russian: Можа́йский райо́н) is a territorial division (a district, or raion) in Western Administrative Okrug, one of the 125 in the federal city of Moscow, Russia. It is located in the west of the federal city. The area of the district is 17.526 square kilometers (6.767 sq mi). As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 132,373. Mozhaysky District takes its name after Mozhayskoe Highway, the district's major road, which in turn was named after the old Mozhayskaya road which lead to Mozhaysk town, located 110 kilometers (68 mi) to the west of Moscow, which was protecting west approach routes to Moscow since 13th century.From 1 July, 2012, the district also includes the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. As a municipal division, the district is incorporated as Mozhaysky Municipal Okrug.

Konstantin Vasilyevich Frolov (Russian: Константи́н Васи́льевич Фролов; 22 July 1932 – 18 November 2007) was a Soviet and Russian academician, engineer, and scientist. He primarily worked in the field of mechanical engineering, specifically with oscillations and biomechanics. He served as vice president of the Russian Academy of Sciences from 1985 until 1996.

Anastasia Yuryevna Zavorotnyuk (Russian: Анастасия Юрьевна Заворотнюк; 3 April 1971 – 29 May 2024) was a Russian actress and television presenter. She was best known for her lead role on My Fair Nanny (2004–2009). Zavorotnyuk also starred in over 30 films and television series.

The Troyekurovo Cemetery (Russian: Троекуровское кладбище, romanized: Troyekurovskoye kladbishche), alternatively known as Novo-Kuntsevo Cemetery (Russian: Ново-Кунцевское кладбище, romanized: Novo-Kuntsevskoye kladbishche), is a cemetery in Moscow, Russia. The cemetery is located in the former village of Troyekurovo on the western edge of Moscow, which derives its name from the Troyekurov princely family, a branch of the Rurikid House of Yaroslavl, that owned the village in the 17th century. Troyekurovo Cemetery includes the Church of Saint Nicholas, built by Prince Troyekurov in 1699-1704, which was closed during the Soviet era but reopened in 1991. Troyekurovo Cemetery is administered as a branch of the Novodevichy Cemetery and is the resting place of numerous notable Russian and Soviet figures.

Setun River's Valley (Russian: Долина реки «Сетунь») is the largest wildlife sanctuary within the Moscow bounds. The sanctuary territory is located along the course of the Setun River. The Setun River's flow is entirely within the Western Administrative Okrug of the city. The fauna is represented by the least weasel, stoat, Eurasian water shrew, and muskrat. It was founded in 1998.

The All-Russian Institute of Light Alloys (Russian: Всероссийский институт лёгких сплавов «ВИЛС»), formerly the Vils Scientific Production Association is a company based in Moscow, Russia. Rostec is the largest shareholder, controlling 39% of the institute.The VILS Scientific Production Association consists of the All-Russian Institute of Light Alloys, the Light Alloy Works, and the Zubtsov Engineering Plant. It is one of several metallurgical organizations which developed and manufactured semi-finished products from steel, aluminum, magnesium, titanium, nickel and super alloys for the Soviet Ministry of the Aviation Industry. VILS markets extrusions, forgings and semi-finished metallurgical products as well as laminated and composite materials, special coatings for tools, and designs for metallurgical equipment.
