Radhapuram taluk

Radhapuram is a legislative assembly constituency in Tirunelveli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The constituency is in existence since 1957 election. It is one of the 234 State Legislative Assembly Constituencies in Tamil Nadu in India.

Vadakkankulam is a small town in Radhapuram Taluka, Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu state, India. It was the home of S. A. Raja. Notable attraction is the Holy Family Church, which was built in 1779.

Rajas Engineering College (formerly known as The Indian Engineering College) is situated in Vadakkangulam, Tamil Nadu state of India. It is one of the oldest self financing Engineering College in Tamil Nadu. REC along with its sister institutions are managed by 'The Selvam Educational and Charitable Trust' and 'The Rajas Educational and Charitable Trust', Vadakkangulam. The Muppandal Wind Farm is India's largest operational onshore wind farm. This project located in Kanyakumari district, Tamil Nadu. The project was developed by Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency. Its installed capacity is 1,500 MW, which makes it the 3rd-largest operational onshore wind farm in the world.

The ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), located at Mahendragiri of Tamil Nadu, is an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) centre involved in testing, assembling, and integrating propulsion systems and stages that are developed at ISRO's Liquid Propulsion Systems Centres. Formerly, IPRC was known as LPSC, Mahendragiri, functioning under LPSC. It was elevated as an independent centre and renamed as IPRC with effect from 1 February 2014.The complex is situated near Panagudi in Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu.It is one of the ISRO centres that could be called as the "Jet Propulsion Laboratory of India" as all liquid, cryogenic and semicryogenic stage and engine related tests of ISRO's launch vehicles and satellites are carried out here.

Palavoor is a village in Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, India. It is located near the coast of the Indian Ocean, about 60 kilometres south of the district seat Tirunelveli, and 14 kilometres southwest of the taluk seat Radhapuram. In 2011, the village had a total population of 17,780.

Chettikulam is a small coastal village in Tirunelveli district, Tamil Nadu, India.It is 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) from Kanyakumari on the east coastal road connecting Kanyakumari with Thiruchendur. The nearest town is Nagercoil. The Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project has built a large township known as Anuvijay Township for its employees near the village. The village has a telephone exchange, bank (SBI Pandian Grama Bank), post office and four schools. Including the township, the population is nearly 28,000. Chettikulam has beach and pond. There is a family park in the beach, which used to be covered with coconut trees. The sea shore is the longest in Tirunelveli district. It is almost 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) long. During festival times peoples from chettikulam as well as tourists gather here. The village is surrounded by agricultural lands.
