Davis Technical College

Davis High School is a public school located in Kaysville, Utah, United States. It is operated by the Davis School District. Known as the Davis Darts, the mascot of the school is Dart Man. One of the largest and oldest high schools in the state, the school was established in 1914 and underwent reconstruction during the 2003–2004 school year.

Kaysville is a city in Davis County, Utah. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield metropolitan area. The population was 27,300 at the time of the 2010 census, with an estimated population of 32,390 in 2019.

Fruit Heights is a city in eastern Davis County, Utah, United States. It is part of the Ogden–Clearfield, Utah Metropolitan Statistical Area. It lies along the Wasatch Front adjacent to the larger cities of Farmington and Kaysville. Its population was 4,987 at the 2010 census, with an estimated population of 6,234 in 2018.

The Kaysville City Hall, also known as Old Kaysville City Hall and the Old Kaysville Library, at 44 N. Main St. in Kaysville, Utah, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in September 2019. On November 16, 1940, 25-year-old Mayor Thornley K. Swan announced plans to construct a $55,000 PWA Moderne style city hall building. By the time the bond election was held, the bond amount was reduced to $35,000 because part of the project ($20,000) would be paid for by federal funds through the Works Project Administration (WPA). The WPA was part of the New Deal during the Great Depression that gave men much needed jobs. Building programs were of great importance during the 1930s, and virtually every public building constructed in Utah, including county courthouses, city halls, fire stations, national guard armories, public school buildings, and a variety of others were built under federal programs by one of several agencies, the WPA being one of those. Almost without exception, none of the buildings would have been built when they were without the assistance of the federal government. Kaysville City Hall was one of 226 buildings constructed in Utah during the 1930s and early 1940s under the Works Progress Administration and other New Deal programs. Of those 226 buildings, 130 are still standing and retain their integrity. In Davis County, a total of five buildings were constructed. The Old Kaysville City Hall or Old Kaysville Library is the only one that remains.In 1986, the new Kaysville Municipal Center was built. The library expanded into the newly renovated building in 1987, along with the LeConte Stewart art gallery. In 2006, Davis County took over the operation of the Kaysville library, and moved to its current location at 215 North Fairfield Road in 2014. The Old Kaysville City Hall is currently vacant awaiting a new use.Today, there are only 6 buildings in Kaysville on the National Register of Historic Places. The Old Kaysville City Hall or Old Kaysville Library is the only Publicly owned building on that list.

The USU Botanical Center is a botanical garden and a Utah State University distance education site located in Kaysville near Salt Lake City, Utah. The center offers educational opportunities for children and adults, all backed by USU Extension. It is home to an arboretum arranged according to the irrigation needs of its more than 300 trees and shrubs, gardens and home landscapes that demonstrate wise water use and research aimed at conserving the region's rich array of plants.

Cherry Hill is a small campground/amusement park in Kaysville, Utah. The park opened for business on June 4, 1967 originally as just a campground. It later, based upon the popularity of it as a campsite, created some water attractions for its campers to enjoy in the summer season. It is mainly popular during the summer because of its main focus on water rides. The park also contains many other attractions such as miniature golf, a ball pit for kids, Basketball on Trampolines, a rock climbing wall, Jungle Gym, a Jungle Themed Maze and weekend concerts.

Kay's Cross was a large stone cross (roughly 20 feet (6.1 m) high by 13 feet (4.0 m) wide) located at the base of a hollow in northeastern Kaysville, Utah, United States. Its origins are disputed, and several urban legends are tied to the site. The cross was demolished with explosives by unknown persons in 1992.

The Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank is a professional golf tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour, played at Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, Utah. One of the original tournaments of the 1990 Ben Hogan Tour as the Utah Classic, the tournament has been played every year but two (1997, 1998). The first seven (1990–1996) were played in Provo at Riverside Country Club and the next sixteen (1999–2014) at Willow Creek in Sandy.Formerly played in early September, the tournament moved to late July in 2011 and to mid-July in 2012. It moved to Thanksgiving Point Golf Club in Lehi in 2015, a few miles north of Utah Lake and along the Jordan River. In 2017, the tournament moved north to Oakridge Country Club in Farmington, between Salt Lake City and Ogden; its average elevation is slightly under 4,300 feet (1,310 m) above sea level. Two major champions have won this event: John Daly won $20,000 in the inaugural edition in 1990, and Zach Johnson won $81,000 in 2003. The purse in 2018 was $700,000, with a winner's share of $126,000.

Oakridge Country Club is a golf course located in Farmington, Utah. Oakridge Country Club is a private, member-owned 18-hole golf course designed by William F. Bell and William Neff. The Country Club opened in 1957 and has approximately 400 members. During the Davis County windstorm of December 2011, hurricane-force winds ripped through the country club and destroyed an estimated 400 old growth trees, vastly changing the landscape and scenery of the course. In the spring of 2016, Oakridge completed a project to clean ponds, expand irrigation water storage and improve the design of the water features.
