Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College (IKTMC) is a secondary school in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. It is named after Kasim Tuet, a Hui Muslim who played a major role in the development of Chinese Muslim education in the city. Formerly known as the Islamic College, Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College is the only Islamic secondary school aided by the Hong Kong Education Bureau (EDB). Islamic Kasim Tuet Memorial College has a site area of 6,900 sq m. The 7-storey building is endowed with spacious playgrounds and open areas. There are 26 classrooms, over 20 special rooms (including library, counselling room, career and guidance room, etc.), a hall, 2 basketball courts, 1 cricket court, and 2 covered playgrounds. IKTMC's student composition includes students from Malaysia, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philippines, Iran, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, China, and Yemen.The school's current principal is Ms. Ho Sau Yin, Zareenah, and the vice-principals are Abu Bakar Ma Wing Cheung (Student Affairs) and Choi Kim Hung (Administrative & Academic Affairs) respectively. Over the past few years, the school has seen its graduates go on to prestigious universities in Hong Kong such as the University of Hong Kong, as well as reputable universities overseas in countries like the UK, Turkey, Indonesia, China, Bangladesh and Malaysia. The school's robotics team has won championship awards at InfoMatrix for the past two years (most recently in Romania), and its debating team won the championship title at the 2019 Hong Kong Schools Debating Competition (Division I), beating hundreds of other schools across the city.

Chai Wan (; Chinese: 柴灣), formerly known as Sai Wan (西灣), lies at the east end of the urban area of Hong Kong Island next to Shau Kei Wan. The area is administratively part of the Eastern District, and is a mosaic of industrial and residential areas. The population was 186,505 in 2001.

Chai Wan Park (Chinese: 柴灣公園) is one of the largest parks in Hong Kong. Located in Chai Wan of Hong Kong near Chai Wan station, it occupies 6.55 hectares. Completed by Urban Council on 21 April 1993, the park is now managed by Leisure and Cultural Services Department, a department of Hong Kong Government.

Yue Wan Estate (Chinese: 漁灣邨) is a public housing estate in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, near Chai Wan Park, Tsui Wan Estate and Tsui Lok Estate. Built on the reclaimed land in Chai Wan, the estate consists of 4 residential blocks, which were developed in 2 phases and built in 1977 and 1978 respectively.

French International School "Victor Segalen" of Hong Kong (FIS in English, French: Lycée français international Victor-Segalen; LFI; Chinese: 香港法國國際學校) is a French international school in Hong Kong. It is the only accredited French school in Hong Kong (linked by an agreement with the Agency for French Teaching Abroad (AEFE). It has over 2,500 students in four different campuses. Since September 2014, FIS expanded its operations to a new campus in Hung Hom. In September 2018, the FIS opened its new campus in Tseung Kwan O. FIS offers two Streams, the French and the International streams. The French stream follows the French National Education curriculum which leads to the "diplôme national du brevet" and the French "Baccalauréat". The "Option Internationale du Baccalauréat" (OIB) offers advanced level studies in English. The International stream is based on the British curriculum and leads to IGCSE (University of Cambridge International Examinations) in Form 5 and the International Baccalaureate (IB) in Form 6. FIS was the first international school in Hong Kong to offer an International Baccalaureate program in 1988.

Chai Wan Road (Chinese: 柴灣道; Cantonese Yale: chaai4 waan1 dou6) located in Hong Kong, is one of the major roads in Chai Wan on Hong Kong Island. It runs from Shau Kei Wan to Chai Wan through Chai Wan Gap; with one of the steepest inclines in Hong Kong on either side, with signs posted 1 in 10 gradient. It is therefore popularly referred to as Cheung Meng Che (長命斜), or long-lived incline. The road was the only way towards Chai Wan before the opening of the Island Eastern Corridor and MTR Island line. Currently, it is still the only pedestrian route connecting to Chai Wan.

Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital, known as Eastern Hospital or Youde Hospital is a acute district general hospital in Chai Wan, Hong Kong. The hospital opened on 15 October 1993 with 1829 beds and staff of over 3000. It replaced the original Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital in Mid-Levels in Hong Kong Island and moved to Chai Wan. Assigned to the Hong Kong eastern hospital cluster and replaced the other Nethersole hospital, which relocated to the New Territories. It is affiliated with the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, the University of Hong Kong, providing clinical attachment opportunities for its medical students.

Lok Hin Terrace (Chinese: 樂軒臺) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong near Walton Estate and Yue Wan Estate. Formerly the site of Block 1 to 8 of old Chai Wan Estate, it was jointly developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and Genius Project Development Company Limited and has a total of five residential blocks built in 1995.

Chai Wan (Chinese: 柴灣) is the eastern terminus of the MTR Island line on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. It is the only station on the Island line that is elevated. The station is located at the junction of Chai Wan Road and Island Eastern Corridor, and it serves Siu Sai Wan and Chai Wan, a primarily residential and industrial town, and the bus terminus nearby has bus and minibus routes to Siu Sai Wan and Stanley, as well as the nearby residential developments. It was also the southernmost railway station in Hong Kong, prior to the opening of Lei Tung station on the South Island line on 28 December 2016. There were no platform screen doors when this station was opened, but the MTR Corporation has retrofitted automatic platform gates on both platforms in 2011.

Greenwood Terrace (Chinese: 康翠臺) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong near Chai Wan Division Police Station. It was jointly developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and New World Development, and has a total of seven residential blocks built in 1985 and is one of the largest estates in Chai Wan.

Neptune Terrace (Chinese: 樂翠臺) is a Home Ownership Scheme and Private Sector Participation Scheme court in Chai Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong near Greenwood Terrace and Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital. It was jointly developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority and New World Development and has a total of three residential blocks built in 1986.
