Central Wesleyan College was a private college sponsored by the Methodist Church in Warrenton, Missouri, from 1864 to 1941.

Ernst Schowengerdt House is a historic home located at Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri. The original section was built in 1866, as a two-story, five bay brick dwelling with two Classical Revival style porches. It was extensively remodeled in the Queen Anne style in 1892–1893. The remodeling added a three-story round tower emerging halfway through the main block of the house.: 2–3  The building houses the Warren County Historical Society.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Warren County Courthouse and Circuit Court Building were two historic government buildings and a national historic district located at Warrenton, Warren County, Missouri. They were two brick hipped roofed buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972. The buildings have been demolished.

KWRE (730 AM) is a commercial radio station that is licensed to Warrenton, Missouri. The station serves mainly the western portion of the Greater St. Louis metropolitan area including Warren, St. Charles, Lincoln, Franklin, and parts of St. Louis counties. The station also serves the eastern portion of Mid-Missouri. KWRE also broadcasts on 95.1 on the FM dial via translator K236CK. The radio station is the sister station of KFAV. Both KFAV and KWRE play country music. KWRE is required to reduce power to 120 watts at night to protect other stations on the same channel. It uses a non-directional antenna at all times.

Truesdale is a city in Warren County, Missouri, United States. It is directly adjacent to the east of Warrenton and is part of the St. Louis MSA. The population was 732 according to the 2010 Census.

Warrenton High School is a secondary school located in Warrenton, United States, in Warren County, Missouri. It is part of the Warren County R-3 School District. The current building was built in 1996. Prior to that period, the high school was housed in the current Black Hawk Middle School/Daniel Boone Building. Warrenton High School officially had 1006 students enrolled for the 2008-2009 academic year, according to the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education,.It was not until 2005 that the school was officially called "Warrenton High School" by the district. Prior to that time there was a very-often-brought-up (and sometimes heated) debate as to whether the school's official name was "Warrenton High School" or "Warren Co. R-3 High School." This confusion is still present, as MSHSAA officially calls all sports teams "Warren County." Following the tradition of students, however, district superintendent John Long decided to call the school "Warrenton High School" officially as of '05.Warrenton High School's colors are red and white. Its mascot is the Warrior. Warrenton High School is on a 4 day week. It is the second biggest school in Missouri to have adopted it.

The county was established on January 5, 1833, and was named for General Joseph Warren, who died in the Battle of Bunker Hill during the American Revolutionary War.Warren County is part of the St. Louis, MO-IL Metropolitan Statistical Area. The county is traversed by Route 94, called the "Missouri Weinstrasse" because of the many vineyards from Marthasville east into St. Charles County. Yeater Branch is a stream in Warren County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Big Creek.The stream headwaters arise along the north side of I-70 and one mile northeast of the community of Pendleton at 38°50′01″N 91°12′57″W and an elevation of 875 feet. The stream flows to the north for about three miles along and to the east of Missouri Route A then turns east for about 2.5 miles to its confluence with Big Creek one half mile west of Missouri Route 47 at 38°52′53″N 91°08′30″W and an elevation of 633 feet.Yeater Branch has the name of Conrad Yeater, a pioneer citizen.
