Suncoast is a hotel and casino located at 9090 Alta Drive in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Boyd Gaming. The hotel, located on a 50-acre (20 ha) site, contains 432 rooms and has a 95,898-square-foot (8,909.2 m2) casino, as well as a movie theater, bowling alley and convention space. Construction began in July 1999, and the project opened on September 12, 2000. The 10-story hotel building opened with 203 rooms on one half, while the other half remained unfinished with the potential to be filled in if needed. Because of high room occupancy rates, the other half was finished in an $11 million expansion that took place during 2001.

Tivoli Village is a mixed-use development center consisting of retail and office space, located on 28.43 acres (11.51 ha) at 410 South Rampart Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada, next to the Summerlin community. It is owned by 3D Investments. The project was announced in May 2005, as The Village at Queensridge. Work began on the project in 2006, but its opening was delayed numerous times because of poor economic conditions, which prompted the decision to develop the property in phases. The first phase opened on April 28, 2011. Work on a second phase had begun by May 2010, with an opening initially planned for 2012, although this was delayed several times. It eventually opened on October 28, 2016. Additional phases have been considered since 2010, with possible amenities including condominiums and a small hotel.

One Queensridge Place is the name given to two residential skyscrapers located on the west side of the Las Vegas Valley in the Queensridge neighborhood adjacent to the master planned community of Summerlin, Nevada. Construction began in 2005 and concluded in 2007. The buildings are twins, measuring approximately 233.5 feet (71.2 m) high. Each tower has 20 constructed floors with curtain wall facades and distinctive architecture. The resulting large windows allow for views of the Las Vegas Strip and Red Rock Canyon.

TPC at Summerlin is a private golf club in the western United States, located within the planned community of Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. Opened 33 years ago in 1991, the championship golf course was designed by Bobby Weed and is a member of the Tournament Players Club network operated by the PGA Tour. It hosts the tour's Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, formerly the Las Vegas Invitational, played in October. The average elevation of the course is approximately 2,700 feet (820 m) above sea level. The course was featured in the PS1 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001; it was added to Tiger Woods 99 PGA Tour Golf on PC as part of the Vegas courses expansion pack.

The Shriners Children's Open is a golf tournament on the PGA Tour in Nevada. Founded 41 years ago in 1983, it is the fourth event of the Tour's 2019–20 wrap-around season and is played annually in October in Las Vegas. It is currently held at the TPC Summerlin, west of central Las Vegas at an approximate average elevation of 2,700 feet (820 m) above sea level. Known by various titles, it was originally played over five rounds (90 holes) over several other courses. When created in 1983, it had the highest purse on tour at $750,000. Tiger Woods recorded his first PGA Tour victory at Las Vegas in October 1996, in a playoff over 1993 champion Davis Love III. The format was changed to 72 holes in 2004.In 2007 the tournament announced that the Shriners Hospitals for Children would take over the operations of the tournament and that the Las Vegas Founders, a volunteer group, would no longer be involved with the event. The following year Fry's Electronics, chief presenting sponsor in 2006 and 2007, ended their association with the event, choosing to concentrate on a second tournament in Arizona that it was already sponsoring. Entertainer Justin Timberlake was the host of the tournament for five years, 2008 through 2012. Timberlake, an avid golfer who plays to a 6 handicap, played in the celebrity pro-am and hosted a benefit concert during the week of the tournament.The inaugural tournament in 1983 had a then-record official purse of $750,000 and Fuzzy Zoeller took the $135,000 winner's share at Las Vegas Country Club in mid-September. In 1984, it became the first PGA Tour event in history to offer a purse exceeding a million dollars: champion Denis Watson won $162,000 from a prize pool of $1,122,500. The tourney moved to late March in 1985, to early May in 1986, then to mid-October in 1990. A tradition at the tournament is presenting the trophy to the champion while two showgirls are a part of the pomp and circumstance.In its history, the Las Vegas event has been hosted by numerous courses before settling at its current venue, TPC Summerlin. Past venues include TPC at the Canyons (now TPC Las Vegas), Bear's Best Golf Club, Southern Highlands Golf Club, Desert Inn Country Club (now the Wynn Golf & Country Club), Las Vegas Country Club, Las Vegas Hilton Country Club (now Las Vegas National Golf Club), Sunrise Golf Club, Spanish Trail Golf & Country Club, Showboat Country Club (now Wildhorse Golf Club), Dunes Country Club and Stallion Mountain Golf Club. Several of these courses are no longer operational. Three players have won multiple titles in Las Vegas. Jim Furyk won three times in the 1990s. Kevin Na has won twice, in 2011 and 2019. And Martin Laird won in 2009 and 2020. In the 2010 tournament, Jonathan Byrd made a hole in one on the fourth hole of a three-man sudden-death playoff to win.

The Darling Tennis Center (DTC) or the Amanda and Stacy Darling Tennis Center is a multi court facility completed in 2005 that is used for community activities and junior to senior tournaments for the Association of Tennis Professionals and the USTA. The courts are operated by the City of Las Vegas as a part of the Charlie Kellogg and Joe Zaher Sports Complex. In 2019, a new indoor clay court complex has been planned to be built in the future.The center was the home to the Tennis Channel Open and is the largest tennis center in the state of Nevada.

TPC Las Vegas, formerly TPC at The Canyons, is an 18-hole golf course located in the planned community of Summerlin in western Las Vegas, Nevada. Opened in 1996 and designed by Bobby Weed in consultation with tour professional Raymond Floyd, TPC Las Vegas is part of the PGA Tour's Tournament Players Club network. It was the venue for the Las Vegas Senior Classic, a tournament on the Champions Tour, from 1994 to 2001. The course was featured in the PS1 version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2001.

The Meadows School is a non-profit, coeducational, nonsectarian, independent college preparatory day school located in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas, Nevada. The campus serves just over 950 students in preschool through grade twelve spread among four divisions – Beginning School (Preschool), Lower School (Grades K-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Upper School (Grades 9-12). The Meadows has an estimated enrollment of 950 students and over 150 faculty and staff, with an average student-to-faculty ratio of 11:1. On average, the Beginning School enrolls 90-100 students, the Lower School enrolls 60 students per grade level, and the Middle and Upper Schools enroll 65-80 students per grade level.The Upper School offers students 24 AP courses and additional AT (Advanced Topics) classes. In 2016, The Washington Post named The Meadows School the #2 most challenging high school in Nevada, and the #97 most challenging private high school in the country. The Meadows School continually ranks #1 on Niche.com as the best private K-12 school and private high school in Nevada. Since its first Upper School Commencement in 1991, 100 percent of graduates from The Meadows School have been accepted into four-year colleges or universities.

Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts Las Vegas was a culinary school founded in 2003 and owned by Career Education Corporation under a licensing agreement with Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. The school was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). In Las Vegas, Nevada, the school offered an Associate of Occupational Science degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts and a Certificate in Le Cordon Bleu Pâtisserie and Baking. Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts was designed to bring the study and practice of culinary arts to Las Vegas. The school was founded in 2003. Le Cordon Bleu Las Vegas stopped accepting applications as of April 2016. All US Cordon Bleu College locations were scheduled to close in 2017.

Nevada's 8th Senate district is one of 21 districts in the Nevada Senate. It has been represented by Democrat Marilyn Dondero Loop since 2018, succeeding Republican-turned-independent Patricia Farley.

Canyon Gate Country Club is a golf club to the west of Las Vegas, Nevada. The 6742 yard course was established in 1989, and was designed by Ted Robinson. It hosted the Las Vegas LPGA in 1993. The club also has amenities for tennis, swimming and fitness. The men's card room and bar were designed by Chris Consultants.

The Summerlin Hospital Medical Center is a private, for-profit hospital owned by Universal Health Services and operated by the Valley Health System. It is located in the Summerlin neighborhood of Las Vegas, Nevada. As of 2018, the Summerlin Hospital offers 485 beds with private rooms. It is an accredited Chest Pain Center and Primary Stroke Center. The 40-acre (16 ha) campus also includes two medical office towers that provide a variety of outpatient services.
