Goose River (Rockport Harbor)

The Rockport Historic Kiln Area encompasses a portion of Rockport Marine Park in Rockport, Maine. This area in Midcoast Maine is home to many of the states late quarries, which over time have been turned into areas where local leaders meet and sing songs originating from this area. This area is part of the region's nationally significant lime processing history, including seven historic early 19th-century lime kilns. The area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970.

Arrayed around the head of its harbor, the town's most significant period of development was in the mid 19th century, because of lime processing and other industries. The town has a well-preserved collection of Greek Revival and Italianate architecture from that period. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Founded in 1952, the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA) is a contemporary arts institution, presenting a year-round program of changing exhibitions featuring the work of emerging and established artists with ties to Maine. In addition, CMCA offers a full range of educational programs for all ages, including gallery talks, performances, film screenings, and hands-on workshops. In 2016, CMCA opened a newly constructed 11,500+ square foot building, with 5,500 square feet of exhibition space, designed by architect Toshiko Mori. Located in downtown Rockland, Maine, across from the Farnsworth Art Museum and adjacent to the Strand Theatre, the new CMCA has three exhibition galleries, a gift shop, a lecture hall, an ArtLab classroom, and an open public courtyard.

Maine Media College, formerly Rockport College, is a small school located in Rockport, Maine. It was founded as an adjunct to the Maine Media Workshops.

The Megunticook Golf Club is a private recreational club at 212 Calderwood Lane in Rockport, Maine. Its principal features are a Craftsman-style clubhouse and a nine-hole golf course, designed in 1912 by Warren H. Manning. The club was organized in 1899, and is one of the state's oldest recreational clubs, and is home to the state's oldest surviving private golf course. Its facilities were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993 (misspelled "Mequnticook").

The Conway House is an historic house and museum in Rockport and Camden, Maine. Probably built in the 1770s, it is one of the oldest surviving buildings in Knox County. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1969.

The Chestnut Street Historic District encompasses a predominantly residential part of Camden, Maine, United States, which represents a cross-section of the town's architectural history, and of its transition from a shipping center to a summer resort community. The district extends south from the town common, along Chestnut Street, and then east to Dillingham Point. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

The Spite House, also known as the Thomas McCobb House, is a historic house at Deadman's Point in Rockport, Maine. Built in 1806 in Phippsburg, it is a high quality example of Federal period architecture. It was built by Thomas McCobb as a deliberately elaborate building, to exceed in quality the fine house in which he had grown up, and which he had lost in a family dispute. It was moved to its current location in 1925, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

The Camden Opera House Block is a historic multifunction building at 29 Elm Street in the center of Camden, Maine, United States. Built in 1893 after the town's great 1892 fire, it is one of its most prominent buildings. It houses town offices, a social meeting hall, and a 500-seat theater. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Camden Yacht Club is a yacht club serving the boating community of Penobscot Bay located at 68 Bay View Street in Camden, Maine, United States. Founded in 1906, it offers a variety of programs seasonally (May through October), as well as mooring facilities (itinerant and seasonal) to its members and the general public. Its clubhouse, designed by John Calvin Stevens and built in 1912, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In season the club serves lunch to its members and their guests, and its facilities are available for event rental.
