Givat Herzl (Hebrew: גבעת הרצל, lit. Herzl's hill) is a neighborhood located in the southern part of Tel Aviv, Israel. It contains an ancient Jewish necropolis which was looted mainly during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

The L. Greenberg National Institute of Forensic Medicine (Hebrew: המכון הלאומי לרפואה משפטית ע"ש ל' גרינברג; also known as the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute or simply Abu Kabir) is an Israeli forensic research laboratory located in the Abu Kabir neighborhood of Tel Aviv, Israel.

Gaon Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון גאון) was a football stadium in Tel Aviv part of Jaffa, home of former club Maccabi Jaffa.

The Academic College of Tel Aviv-Yafo (Hebrew: המכללה האקדמית תל אביב יפו, HaAkademit Tel Aviv Yaffo) is a public college based in Tel Aviv, Israel. It is authorized to grant its graduates bachelor's degrees (BA, BSc and BSN) and masters degrees (MA, MSc and MBA).

The 2011 Tel Aviv nightclub attack was a combined vehicular assault and stabbing attack which occured on 29 August 2011 when a Palestinian attacker stole an Israeli taxi cab and rammed it into a police checkpoint guarding the popular nightclub, Haoman 17, in Tel Aviv which was filled with 2,000 Israeli teenagers. After crashing into the checkpoint, the attacker jumped out of the vehicle and began stabbing people. Four civilians, four police officers, and the assailant were injured in the attack. The assailant was living illegally in Israel at the time of the attack. The plan of the attacker allegedly was to strike some of the hundreds of teenagers present at the nightclub. Nevertheless, due to an Israel Border Police roadblock at the entrance and immediate response of the Border Police team during the stabbing spree, a much larger and fatal mass-casualty incident was prevented.

Bloomfield Stadium (Hebrew: אצטדיון בלומפילד) is a football stadium in Tel Aviv, Israel, with a capacity of 29,400. It is the home stadium of Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv. The stadium also serves the Israel national football team for some select home matches.

On November 19, 2015, an assailant approached the entrance of a Tel Aviv synagogue at prayer time, and stabbed and killed two worshipers. The attacker was arrested.

Jerusalem Boulevard, in Hebrew Sderot Yerushalayim (Hebrew: שדרות ירושלים), is a long historical avenue that crosses the city of Jaffa parallel to the shoreline a few hundred meters to the west, from the border of Tel Aviv to Bat Yam in the south (Sderot HaAtsma'ut) to the Yehezkel Kaufmann Street in the north, where it continues as a boulevard to the beach.

On 1 October 2024, two Hamas gunmen carried out an attack in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel. Seven civilians were killed, and seventeen others were injured. The gunmen were subsequently shot dead by armed civilians and police.

The Alhambra Cinema is a former Palestinian-owned cinema on Jerusalem Boulevard in Jaffa, Israel, designed in the Art Deco style in 1937 by Lebanese architect Elias Al-Mor. Since 2012, the building is housing the "Ideal Center of Scientology for the Middle East", a main Scientology branch in the region. It was named after the Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain. It was active as an Arab cultural institution in Mandatory Palestine. It was again used as a cinema after the establishment of Israel, then as a theatre after 1963, but was eventually largely abandoned for decades until its restoration in 2010-2012.

Cinema of Palestine is relatively young in comparison to Arab cinema as a whole. Palestinian films are not exclusively produced in Arabic and some are even produced in English, French . The films of Palestinian director Elia Suleiman are Palestinian films.
