Swift Creek (Virginia)

Fort Clifton Archeological Site is a historic American Civil War fort archaeological site located at Fort Clifton Park, Colonial Heights, Virginia. The park is the site of Fort Clifton on the Appomattox River where five Union ships sailed on Confederate troops on June 11, 1864. The Confederate Battery, with cannon emplacements, remained in Confederate hands as the cannons drove the Union attackers away. The park has earthworks that criss-cross the property. Fort Clifton Park has hiking trails and Civil War campaign signage on site.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Dominion Energy Charity Classic is a professional golf tournament in Virginia on the PGA Tour Champions, played at Country Club of Virginia in Henrico, Virginia. The Swift Creek Mill is a historic grist mill at 17401 Jefferson Davis Hwy in South Chesterfield, Virginia, just across Swift Creek from the city of Colonial Heights. Built about 1850, the present brick mill structure is one of a long line of mills that have occupied this site since the mid-17th century. The mill was adapted for use as the Swift Creek Mill Theater in the 1960s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

Cabin Creek is a 4.8-mile-long (7.7 km) stream in the U.S. state of Virginia. It is a tributary of the Appomattox River. It rises in Fort Gregg-Adams and flows north into the western side of the city of Hopewell, reaching the Appomattox River 3 miles (5 km) upstream of that river's confluence with the James River.
