Delaire is a suburban community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States.Delaire is located on a hilltop overlooking the Delaware River northeast of Bellefonte between U.S. Route 13 Business (Philadelphia Pike) and U.S. Route 13. It abuts Bellevue State Park and Stoney Creek.Delaire was developed in the 1940s from the subdvision of 61 acres (25 ha) of the Volpe Tract, former site of the Bellevue Gun Club. In 1980 it was described as being typical of the Brandywine Hundred: "solid, all masonry, all middle-class, mostly white-collar, and mostly Republican".

Mount Pleasant Methodist Episcopal Church and Parsonage is a historic Methodist Episcopal church and parsonage located at Wilmington, New Castle County, Delaware. It was built in 1838, and is a one-story, stuccoed stone structure with a gable roof. It measures approximately 50 feet by 40 feet, and has a gable-roofed vestibule added in 1893. Adjacent to the church is the parsonage built in 1894. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, four-bay L-shaped frame dwelling in the Queen Anne style. It sits on a fieldstone foundation and features gray-green fish-scale shingles. Adjacent is the contributing church cemetery with burials dating back to 1841.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. It is now part of Bellevue State Park, a Delaware state park.

It was built about 1893, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-bay, T-shaped vernacular brick-and-frame farmhouse. It consists of a gambrel-roofed main block with projecting central bay, with a gable-roofed rear wing. The house has elements of Stick, Queen Anne, and Colonial Revival-style detailing. Also on the property is a 2+1⁄2-story frame carriage house.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in March 2009. The property was the Highlighted Property of the Week when the National Park Service released its weekly list of March 6, 2009.
