Maritime Victory Park

The St. Petersburg River Yacht Club, also known as St. Petersburg Central River Yacht Club or simply Central River Yacht Club, is a sailing club in Saint Petersburg. It is located on Petrovsky Island, off Peter's Passage, between the mouths of Malaya Neva and Malaya Nevka rivers. The Naval Yacht Club is close by.

The Little Neva or Malaya Neva (Russian: Ма́лая Нева́) is the second largest distributary of the river Neva. The Neva splits into Great Neva (the southern armlet) and Little Neva (the northern armlet) near the Spit of Vasilievsky Island (easternmost tip of the island), in the historic centre of the city of Saint Petersburg. The Little Neva is 4.25 kilometres (2.64 mi) long; the width is from 200 to 400 metres (660 to 1,310 ft), and the depth is 3 to 7 metres (10 to 23 ft). It has its own armlets: Smolenka and Zhdanovka. There are three bridges across Little Neva: Exchange Bridge, Tuchkov Bridge and Betancourt Bridge.

The Little Nevka or Malaya Nevka (Russian: Ма́лая Не́вка) is the southern distributary of the Great Nevka. The Great Nevka splits into Little Nevka (the southern armlet) and Middle Nevka (the northern armlet) near the Kamenny Island's easternmost tip. It is also known for being the dumping ground of the famous Rasputin (of Russia) after his assassination. The Little Nevka is about 5 kilometres (3 mi) long; the width is from 120 to 300 metres (390 to 980 ft), and the depth is 3.5 to 7 metres (11 to 23 ft). It has its own armlets: Krestovka, Karpovka and Zhdanovka. There are four bridges across Little Nevka: Kamennoostrovsky Bridge, Lazarevsky Bridge, Big Krestovsky Bridge, Bolshoy Petrovsky Bridge.

The Middle Nevka or Srednyaya Nevka (Russian: Сре́дняя Не́вка) is a branch of the Neva river delta in St. Petersburg, Russia. Flowing between Yelagin, Kamenny and Krestovsky islands, it empties into the Neva Bay.

The Great or Bolshoi Petrovsky bridge is a bridge across Little Nevka in St. Petersburg, Russia, connecting Petrovsky Island with Krestovsky Island and passing over a small nameless islet on Little Nevka. It is very near the mouth of the river, which flows into the Finnish Gulf. A wooden draw bridge was built in 1838. In 1916 the bridge was accommodated to two-way vehicular traffic. In 1947 the bridge was upgraded, with the spans replaced by metal beams; it now measured 297 metres (974 ft) long and 18 metres (59 ft) wide. In December 1993, ice destroyed part of the bridge structure. After that, the bridge was closed to vehicular traffic; it was narrowed to 2.2 metres (7.2 ft) and was used only by pedestrians. The construction of a new bridge was started in 2009, and this opened in 2010. In the latter year, the old wooden bridge was dismantled.

Sibur Arena (Russian: Сибур Арена) is a multi-purpose indoor sporting arena that is located in the Petrogradsky District, Saint Petersburg, Russia. The arena can be used for basketball, volleyball, handball, futsal, tennis, and entertainment events. The seating capacity of the arena is 7,120. The arena also has 13 VIP boxes, which can accommodate a total of up to 390 fans.

Yachts club SMTU was an educational yacht club on Kirov Islands of St. Petersburg. It occupied the island of Bezymyanniy.

The Great Nevka or Bolshaya Nevka (Russian: Больша́я Не́вка) is an arm of the Neva that begins about 1 kilometre (0.6 mi) below the Liteyny Bridge in Saint Petersburg.

Krestovsky Ostrov (Russian: Крестовский остров) is a station on the Frunzensko-Primorskaya Line of Saint Petersburg Metro, opened on September 3, 1999. It should have been opened earlier but the opening was postponed due to delays in the construction of the station lobby. It serves Krestovsky Island and Krestovsky Stadium, home of FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.

The Datsan Gunzechoinei is a large Buddhist temple in Saint Petersburg, Russia. It is the northernmost Buddhist temple in Russia.

Krestovsky Island (Russian: Крестовский остров) is a 3.4 km2 island in Saint Petersburg, Russia, between several tributaries of the Neva: the Srednyaya Nevka, the Malaya Nevka and the Krestovka. The island is served by the Krestovsky Ostrov station of Saint Petersburg Metro. Until recently, the western part of the island was occupied by the Maritime Victory Park, where the international Goodwill Games of sports and athletics competition took place in 1994, which was the first large scale post-Soviet Union international event in Russia. A new stadium, Gazprom Arena, is located where Kirov Stadium was. The stadium serves as home for FC Zenit Saint Petersburg. Meanwhile, the eastern part of this beautiful St Petersburg island, has seen slow but steady urbanization since the early 1900s, which has slowly changed its parkland nature. Recently there has been even more pressure from today's "nomenclature" to locate top-end housing projects and high-prestige homes here - a long-time tendency that also continues today, since historically the island was always owned by families who were close to and favourites of the Tzars/"powers-to-be" and who served them well.

Yelagin Island (Russian: Елагин остров) is a park island at the mouth of the Neva River which is part of St. Petersburg, Russia. Yelagin Island is home to the Yelagin Palace but has a few other buildings as well. A former suburban estate of 18 century Russian nobles and later of a dowager Empress Maria, widow of Paul I of Russia, it has been serving since after the revolutions of 1917 as a city public park, officially Central Park of Culture and Rest named after Sergey Kirov, the famous Bolshevik city leader of early 1930s who supervised development of the city.
