Pretoria Callies Football Club, also known as Bantu Callies or Pretoria Bantu Callies is a South African professional soccer club based in Pretoria, Gauteng, who currently play in the National First Division.

Lucas "Masterpieces" Moripe Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium having a capacity of 28,900 and is located in Atteridgeville, a township of Pretoria, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as part-time home stadium of Premier Soccer League club Supersport United. The stadium was named after former local soccer player Lucas Moripe. Until 2010 the stadium was known as Super Stadium. The Germany national football team used it as a training venue during the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Kalafong Provincial Tertiary Hospital (also known as Kalafong Hospital) is a public hospital in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The hospital is situated on the western outskirts of Pretoria in the suburb of Atteridgeville. The University of Pretoria uses the hospital as a training institution for the Faculty of Health Sciences.

Lotus Gardens is a small suburb situated next to Atteridgeville in the west of Pretoria. Lotus Gardens, initially referred to as "Dairy Farm", was planned as an Indian township by the apartheid government, under the Group Areas Act, in order to relieve housing pressure in Laudium, and the first cohort of Indian residents moved in during the early 1990s, with children initially bused to schools in Laudium. However, by this time, segregated housing had been abolished, and Lotus Gardens became a mixed community, and by 2011, it had a population that was 80% black African. The township is separated from Atteridgeville by the N4 Magalies Freeway. The two townships share a police station which is situated in Atteridgeville. Laudium () is an Indian township (apartheid classification) in southwest of central Pretoria, in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. Claudius is a residential suburb that is effectively an extension of Laudium.

Erasmia is a suburb in the northern outskirts of Centurion in the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. Originally a whites-only area under apartheid, increasing numbers of Indians from neighbouring Laudium moved in, following the abolition of segregation in the early 1990s, and the construction of a direct link road between the two areas. Erasmia lies west of the R55 route. In 2001, 65.72% of the population was Indian, and by 2011, Indians made up 77.03% of the population. The area called Christoburg is for census and other purposes usually treated as part of Erasmia.

Lieutenant-General Willem Petrus Louw (Bloemhof,: 255  24 November 1920 – 4 July 1980) was a South African military commander. He joined the South African Army in the Special Service Battalion in 1938,: 94  and served in Italy in World War II.

Amity International School, formerly the Pretoria Hindu School, is a private school in Erasmia, Pretoria, South Africa. It is associated with the Amity International Schools group. The school caters for all classes starting from Grade R till Grade 7, and also has a range of sporting activities. Zwartkops Raceway is a 2.400 km (1.491 mi) circuit located in Centurion, South Africa, South Africa. The circuit was inaugurally opened in November 1961, was closed in 1998, but re-opened in March 2001.
