Farnborough College of Technology is a college located in the town of Farnborough, Hampshire in the South East of England. Although primarily a further education college, Farnborough College of Technology also has a University Centre (University Centre Farnborough) which offers a range of higher education courses, accredited by the University of Surrey.Farnborough College of Technology has a second campus located in the town of Aldershot, Hampshire in the South East of England, known as Aldershot College.In 2011, Farnborough College of Technology was rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

The Tumbledown Dick was a former public house in Farnborough, Hampshire, England, that operated from the 16th century until the early 21st century. The name of the pub originates as the satirical nickname given to Richard Cromwell, son of Oliver Cromwell, after his abrupt fall from power after a brief nine-month reign in 1658–59. The pub was the central focus of Farnborough before its 19th-century refocus toward North Camp and the current town centre's 20th-century development. Local folklore links the pub with various historical figures, including Cromwell, Henry VII (celebrating the downfall of Richard III) and Dick Turpin. The pub was closed in 2008, and the building was purchased by McDonald's in 2012.

Saint Michael's Abbey (French: Abbaye Saint-Michel) is a Benedictine abbey in Farnborough, Hampshire, England. The small community is known for its liturgy (which is sung in Latin and Gregorian chant), its pipe organ, and its liturgical publishing and printing. This abbey is also known for enshrining a Pontifically crowned image of Saint Joseph. Public tours of the abbey take place every Saturday at 3pm, with the visit comprising a tour of the church and a visit to the crypt.

The Catholic National Library (formerly the Catholic Central Library) is a large Roman Catholic library previously located at St Michael's Abbey in Farnborough, Hampshire, founded in 1912. In 2015 it was relocated to Durham University Library. It is known for its 70,000 books and periodicals, and the broad range of subjects it covers. It was a registered charity under English law.The collection started in 1912 in the porch of St Mary Magdalene's Church in Bexhill-on-Sea, from the private library of an American, Mr William Reed-Lewis. It moved to Victoria, London in 1922 and was then established as the Catholic Central Library in 1936. In July 1959 the Friars of the Atonement took over its staffing and financing. In 1997 this building was sold off and the library's collection was threatened with being broken up. A campaign by some notable British Catholic writers and noblemen helped to keep the collection intact. From 1997 the running was transferred to a board of Trustees. Premises were leased in Lancing Street, London. In 2007 the collection was rehoused at St Michael's Abbey, Farnborough, changed its name from Catholic Central Library to Catholic National Library, and was once again open to visitors. Access to the library in Farnborough closed on 27 June 2014.

The Farnborough Air Sciences Trust (FAST) museum holds a collection of aircraft (actual and model), satellites, simulators, wind tunnel and Royal Aircraft Establishment-related material. It is based in Farnborough, Hampshire immediately adjacent to Farnborough Airfield on the A325 Farnborough Road. Part of the collection is housed in Trenchard House (Building G1 of the former Royal Aircraft Establishment), which includes a library, an archive, and a store. There are aircraft on display, some of which have had significant design and/or development contribution from Farnborough. A collection of wind tunnel models is held in storage, along with documentation and historical records of engineering and technical development. There is also a large collection of plans and drawings relating to the Farnborough and Pyestock sites. The museum is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 to 16:00. It is managed by the trustees of FAST while day-to-day running is carried out by volunteers of the FAST Association. The museum has received praise from the press. In 2009, it featured in both The Times' 'List of the Top 10 Geeky Holiday Spots on the Planet' and The Sun's Kid's Go Free Top 10 Educational Visitor Attractions.

Farnborough (Main) railway station is on the South West Main Line and serves the town of Farnborough in Hampshire, England. The station, and all trains serving it, are operated by South Western Railway. It is one of three stations in the town; the others, named Farnborough North and North Camp are both situated on the North Downs Line. The station is usually known as Farnborough (Main) in order to distinguish it from Farnborough North, including by National Rail and South Western Railway, although it is often signposted simply as Farnborough. It is 33 miles 17 chains (53.5 km) from London Waterloo and is situated between Brookwood and Fleet.

Farnborough Town Hall is a municipal building in Alexandra Road, Farnborough, Hampshire, England. The town hall, which was the headquarters of Farnborough Urban District Council, is a Grade II listed building.

Farnborough Hill is a Roman Catholic private day school for 550 girls aged 11–18 located in Farnborough, Hampshire. The school was established by the Religious of Christian Education order of nuns in 1889 and moved to the current site when the order purchased the house and grounds in 1927. It is now set in an expansive park including Grade I Listed buildings.

FCOT FM and previously as FCT-FM, Echo FM and Passion is a community radio station broadcast for four weeks each year from two studios at Farnborough College of Technology. The station's management, presentation and production teams are entirely composed of further and higher education students. Throughout its annual broadcast, FCOT FM operates a 24-hour music radio service with live presenters from 7 am until 9 pm every weekday. Originally operating a highly localised service, the station now covers the entire Rushmoor area with a broadcast radius of approximately fifteen miles. Echo 2012 was set to be the biggest and best yet with a refurb on everything including the logo. The station now runs 24/7 during its licence period and ran from 27 February 2012 until 30 March 2012, with new imaging, a new website and a new presenter line-up. The radio station for 2013 was renamed to "FCOT FM". It will be returning for 2018 from 16 April until 11 May with brand new presenters and logo.

Salesian College, is an independent Roman Catholic day school in Farnborough, Hampshire, England. It admits boys from the age of 11 to 18, and girls in the Sixth Form. The College was founded in 1901 as a small preparatory school for boys, but soon expanded to provide secondary education owing to its increasing popularity. For the 2007–08 academic year, the College announced that it would admit girls into the Sixth Form for the first time. The college has a strong record of academic achievement, with a 100% pass rate at GCSE in 2015, and 99.5% at A Level. Salesian college encourages students to work at their best helping student to excel in academic activity’s . In 2022 the independent schools Inspectorate (ISI) gave Salesian college the highest rating of excellent.

Henry Tyndale School is a special school located in Farnborough, Hampshire, England, catering for pupils of all academic ages (2-19). The main building accommodates 100 pupils up to Year 11, with a further 15 pupils in a purpose-built Sixth form college.
