Umm Nahad is a collection of four communities (Numbers: 911, 912, 913 and 914) located 30 km south of Dubai, adjacent to Dubai-Al Ain Highway. As of 2018, the combined population of all four communities of Umm Nahad was 2,343.

Camp Mirage is the codename for a former Canadian Forces forward logistics facility located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The facility was established in late-December 2001 and, though not officially acknowledged by the Canadian Forces, is considered an "open secret". According to CTV sources, the base was closed in November 2010.

Al Minhad Air Base (Arabic: قاعدة المنهاد الجوية, IATA: NHD, ICAO: OMDM, also just Minhad Air Base) is a military installation in the United Arab Emirates. The base is located approximately 15 miles (24 km) south of Dubai and is operated by the United Arab Emirates Air Force. It is currently the headquarters of the Australian Defence Force's Joint Task Force 633 and supports Australian operations in the Middle East. The base was "a critical hub for Coalition/ISAF partners in Afghanistan, including the Australians, Dutch, Canadians, Brits and Kiwis."

The Sevens is a purpose-built rugby sevens stadium in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Sevens Stadium is a venue for rugby, association football, Gaelic football, Australian football (Aussie rules football), netball, basketball, cricket, tennis, track and field and concerts.The Sevens is located at the intersection of the Dubai-Al Ain Road (E66) and the Jebel Ali-Lahbab Road (E77) and the complex offers parking for around 15,000 vehicles.Facilities at The Sevens include: eight rugby/football pitches, six cricket pitches (3 grass (2 floodlit) 3 subkha), four netball/tennis courts, one basketball court, a grandstand, and international-standard ancillary facilities ideal for sports events. All courts and pitches are floodlit.It was the venue for the first HSBC A5N Youth Rugby Festival in February 2009. The Emirates Airline Dubai Sevens is a round of the World Rugby Sevens Series held at The Sevens annually since 2008.

Universal Studios Dubailand was a proposed Universal Studios theme park in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Originally planned to be built within Dubailand, a future entertainment mega-complex, the project broke ground in July 2008 but stalled a short time later. On October 27, 2016, officials announced the permanent cancellation of the project.

Dubai Outlet Mall (DOM) is a shopping mall in Umm Nahad First, Dubailand, Dubai, the UAE.Opened in 2007 and is located on the Dubai-Al Ain Road (Route 66) near the Dubai Bypass Road interchange. The shopping mall has a total size of 102,193 m2 (1,100,000 sq ft) and a total gross leasable area of 69,977 m2 (753,230 sq ft) and it currently features 240 retail outlets with over 1,200 brands.

Skycourts Towers is a project by National Bonds Corporation PJSC located within the Dubailand Residence Complex in Dubai. The AED 1.6 billion development offers 2,836 apartments across 6 towers. Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) introduced the route between Dubai Mall Metro Station and the nearby area.

The Emirates Soil Museum opened on 8 December 2016, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development in improving the technology and interior and exterior exhibits. Since its launch, the museum has had 3,000 visitors from various backgrounds. The museum attempts to engage its visitors through knowledge dissemination, workshops, and student field trips that involved them stepping out into nature and collecting data on soil, water and soil biodiversity as well as hands-on activities, science experiments, analysis and projects. The recommendation was made after the completion of the first phase of the UAE Soil Mapping Project which was a 10-year project that included extensive and intensive soil analysis completed in collaboration with EAD and the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (Ministry of Environment and Water at the time). This project produced the UAE Soil Maps, Abu Dhabi Soil Survey Books, Northern Emirates Soil Survey Books, United Arab Emirates Keys to Soil Taxonomy and the addition of a new soil sub group called Anhydrite, which was officially recognized in 2014 in the updated edition of the US Keys to Soil Taxonomy.

Zayed University (ZU; Arabic: جامعة زايد) is a public university based in the United Arab Emirates. It was established in 1998. It is one of the three government-sponsored higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates. It is named in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the country's first president.Achieving accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the US, it became the first federal university in the UAE to be internationally accredited. ZU offers 17 majors and 10 minors at undergraduate level and 10 master's degrees. The university has eight colleges: College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, College of Business, College of Communication and Media Sciences, College of Education, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Natural and Health Sciences, College of Technological Innovation, and college of interdisciplinary studies.

Al Yalayis (Arabic:الياليس) is a community of the Emirate of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. Administratively it is part of the Sector 9 and is located in the central area of Dubai.

Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou (LFIGP; Arabic: الیسة اﻟﻔرﻧﺳﯾﺔ الدولیة جورج بومبیو) is a French international school with campuses in Dubai and Sharjah. It serves levels maternelle, through lycée (senior high school). As of the 2013–2014 school year the school had a total of 2,400 students.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (abbreviated HBMSU; formerly Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University) is the first smart university in the United Arab Emirates, established in 2002. The President of the university is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Being the first e-learning institute in the UAE, its working model has paved the way for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE to design standards for accreditation for an e-learning institution.
