Akademik Aleksandar Teodorov - Balan Metro Station (Bulgarian: Метростанция "Академик Александър Теодоров - Балан") is a station on the Sofia Metro in Bulgaria. It started operation on 8 May 2015.

Mladost 1 Metro Station (Bulgarian: Метростанция "Младост 1") is a station on the Sofia Metro in Bulgaria. It opened on May 8, 2009. The station is served by M1 and M4 lines. M1 line continues towards Business Park, while M4 line continues to Sofia Airport.

The University of Forestry, (Bulgarian: Лесотехнически университет (ЛТУ), often abbreviated as LTU), based in Sofia, is a state university with 6 faculties with a total of 30 departments. It is located in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria and is close to the Technical University and the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy. The University of Forestry has two Research Forests: the first one located near the village of Yundola in coniferous forest, and the other in the village of Barzia in deciduous forest. It also has a Training and Experimental Field Station in Vrazhdebna suburb of Sofia. For more than 90 years now, the University of Forestry has been the only university in Bulgaria providing education in forestry, forest management, landscape architecture and wood processing. In the 1990s, the range of scientific fields was expanded to include ecology, agronomy, veterinary medicine and business management. In mid 1990s, the University adopted the three-level degree system of bachelor, master and doctor degrees. At that time, it also introduced the European Credit Transfer System. The motto of the University is Bulgarian traditions and European standards in education. As an educational institution the University of Forestry strives to establish an academic environment in which values such as professionalism, freedom of speech and thought, humanism, collaboration and tolerance are encouraged.

Zlatarski International School in Sofia, Bulgaria, is an international school. Founded in 1995, Zlatrski International School of Sofia offers a program of studies for boys and girls aged 14–19. 300 students from grades 8 to 12 attend the school. The 2006/2007 school year marks the graduation of the school's eighth graduating class.

Mladost (Bulgarian: Младост, meaning "Youth") is a district of Sofia. It is one of the most modern and fast developing areas in the city. As of 2012 it has 114,887 inhabitants which makes it the second-most-populous district in the capital, situated in the south-east end of Sofia, between Druzhba and Vitosha mountain. The largest business complex in Bulgaria is situated in the south end: Business Park Sofia. Mladost is among the safest and cleanest districts of Sofia. In May 2011 it became one of the first neighbourhoods of Sofia to have a complete cycling route of more than 8 km.

The Technical University of Sofia (Bulgarian: Технически университет - София), based in Sofia, is the largest technical university in Bulgaria. Founded on 15 October 1945 as part of the Higher Technical School (later renamed to State Polytechnic), it is an independent institution since 1953, when the Polytechnic was divided into four separate technical institutes. It has had its present name and university status since 21 July 1995 and has 14 main faculties based in Sofia, Plovdiv and Sliven, as well as 3 additional ones with education only in foreign languages — German, English and French.

The Law Faculty of University of National and World Economy (Bulgarian: Юридически факултет при Университета за национално и световно стопанство) is a law school located in Sofia, Bulgaria. The Faculty of Law was established by the Academic Council Decision of March 20, 1991, initially as the Legal Department on the basis of the Department of Legal Studies that has existed at UNWE Bulgaria since 1920. By the Academic Council Decision of May 31, 1995 it was transformed into a Faculty.
