Sydney International Archery Park

2SM is an Australian radio station, licensed to and serving Sydney, broadcasting on 1269 kilohertz on the AM band. It is owned and operated by Broadcast Operations Group. The SM call sign is taken from the initials of Saint Mary's.2SM's programs are heard across the 2SM Super Radio Network in regional New South Wales and Queensland, consisting of 32 AM and FM stations. 2SM unveiled its renowned denim zipper logo in 1975. Although the logo is inextricably linked to 2SM, it was, according to radio historian Wayne Mac, actually created for Brisbane pop station 4IP by a company called Eagle Marketing and subsequently adopted by other stations including 2SM, 3XY and 2NX.

Haslams Creek, a southern tributary of the Parramatta River, is a creek west of Sydney Harbour, located in Sydney, Australia. It flows through Sydney Olympic Park and joins Parramatta River at Homebush Bay. In 1793, the first grants were made to free settlers, with Samuel Haslam receiving his first grant in 1806. A 50 acre grant north of Parramatta Road, the first grant, was followed by a second small grant south of Parramatta Road and east of Haslams Creek. Haslams Creek flowed through the holdings of the Sydney Meat Preserving Company Ltd 1876-1965, which at one point damned the creek. When opened, Lidcombe railway station actually bore the name Haslams Creek Station

Located alongside the suburb of Newington, New South Wales, and named in honour of Australian paralympic wheelchair racer Louise Sauvage, the Pathway is the longest continuous section of pathway in Sydney Olympic Park. As such, the pathway is suitable for walking and pushbikes, as well as wheelchairs.

The Brickpit Ring Walk is an urban nature park and walkway that serves as a water storage and frog habitat, located in the Bicentennial Park, in the Sydney Olympic Park, in western Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Once a brick manufacturing site, the land was to be redeveloped as part of the site for the 2000 Sydney Olympic and Paralympic Games, however the 1992 discovery of the then endangered Green and Golden Bell Frog (Litoria aurea) placed a hold on developments. The urban nature park and walkway was established in 2006.

HMAS Karangi was a Bar-class boom defence vessel operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) during World War II. It was constructed by the Cockatoo Docks and Engineering Company at Cockatoo Island Dockyard, Sydney and launched on 16 August 1941. The vessel was awarded the battle honour "Darwin 1942–43" for her wartime service. In 1952, Karangi participated during the atomic tests at Monte Bello Islands. She was sold on 8 September 1966 to L. Bookluck of Enmore and the superstructure was removed before the hulk was abandoned at Homebush Bay in 1970. Wentworth Point is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 13 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district, on the eastern edge of the local government area of City of Parramatta. It is on the western shore of Homebush Bay on the southern side of the Parramatta River. Wentworth Point is usually regarded as part of the Greater Western Sydney region, including in administrative contexts, but it is also regarded as part of the Inner West region of Sydney in some contexts, especially commercial contexts.

Newington Armory is a heritage-listed former Royal Australian Navy armament depot, now used for tourism purposes, at Holker Street, Sydney Olympic Park, Cumberland Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was built from 1897 by the Royal Australian Navy. It is also known as Millennium Heritage Parklands Precinct, RAN Armament Depot Newington, Royal Australian Navy Armament Depot (RANAD), Newington Nature Reserve and Sydney Olympic Games. The property is owned by the Sydney Olympic Park Authority. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 14 January 2011.

Homebush Bay is a bay on the south bank of the Parramatta River, in the west of Sydney, Australia. The name is also sometimes used to refer to an area to the west and south of the bay itself, which was formerly an official suburb of Sydney, and has now become the suburbs of Sydney Olympic Park, Wentworth Point and part of the neighbouring suburb of Lidcombe, all part of the City of Parramatta. Homebush Bay is located 13 kilometres (8.1 mi) west of the Sydney central business district. The bay has a natural and artificial shoreline on the southern side of the Parramatta River between the suburbs of Wentworth Point and Rhodes. In the 1900s the bay was contaminated with dioxins and other chemicals by the local Union Carbide chemical plant, which has led to commercial fishing bans in most of Sydney Harbour, and health advisories about limiting the quantity of fish eaten from the Parramatta River. Other contaminants in the bay include phthalates, lead, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, DDT, and heavy metals. The eastern shore of the bay was remediated starting in 2008 to remove about 75% of the dioxins from the bay. Remediation was completed in mid-2010, however fishing is still prohibited in Homebush Bay. The western shore of Homebush Bay is in the local government area of the City of Parramatta, while its eastern shore is in the City of Canada Bay. As a result, the bay forms part of the geographical boundary between the Greater Western Sydney region in the west and the Inner West region of Sydney in the east, except that the suburb of Wentworth Point, at the northern tip of the western bank, is sometimes marketed as being in the Inner West.Homebush and Homebush West are separate suburbs to the south, in the Municipality of Strathfield.

Sydney Showground Stadium (Known commercially as GIANTS Stadium during the AFL Season) is a sports and events stadium located at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park. It hosted the baseball events for the 2000 Summer Olympics. The Showground, including the stadium, is operated by the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS), under lease from the New South Wales Government.The stadium hosts flagship events of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, such as the Grand Parade. The stadium is also used for sport. It is the primary home ground of the Australian Football League's Greater Western Sydney Giants and the home ground of the Big Bash League's Sydney Thunder. It was also the primary home ground of the A-League's Western Sydney Wanderers for 3 years starting with the 2016–17 A-League season. Events and festivals to have been held at the stadium include Soundwave, Big Day Out, Stereosonic and Big Exo Day. The stadium opened in 1998 as the Sydney Showground Main Arena. In conjunction with an expansion and upgrade in 2011–12, it was renamed Sydney Showground Stadium.

The Bennelong Bridge is a 330-metre-long (1,080 ft) vehicular bridge across Homebush Bay between the Sydney suburbs of Rhodes and Wentworth Point. It opened on 22 May 2016.
