Penanti is a small town in Central Seberang Perai District, Penang, Malaysia.

Bukit Tengah is an industrial area in Central Seberang Perai District, Penang, Malaysia. This town is situated very close to the North–South Expressway. It is named after Kampung Bukit Tengah which is located next to the Mercedes-Benz automobile showroom which is next to the expressway. The town is within a proper of a larger town of Bukit Mertajam, which shares the same postcode of 14000. Jalan Bukit Tengah or Bukit Tengah road, forms the main trunk road which passes through the centre of the town. This road links Jalan Pengkalan to the north with Jalan Bukit Minyak to the south, which connects major towns in Seberang Perai such as Butterworth, Perai in the northwest, Bukit Mertajam in the east and Juru and Simpang Ampat to the south. Along this stretch of road is Bukit Tengah Industrial Park, Sri Rambai Light Industrial Park and Utaria Industrial Park. Among the companies having factories in Bukit Tengah include Dell, Leader Steel, Guppy Plastic Industry and Alpha Master.Also located in Bukit Tengah is Highway Auto-City, which a one-stop automobile, food and entertainment venue. Many outdoor events and celebrations like roadshows, concerts, carnivals, exhibitions, motor sports and cultural festivals are being held there.

Simpang Ampat, also known as Simpang Empat, is a small town in the district of South Seberang Perai, in the state of Penang, Malaysia. It borders Bukit Mertajam town to the north, Junjung town to the east, Sungai Bakap town to the south, and Batu Kawan town to the west.

Bukit Mertajam (Jawi:بوكيت مرتاجم) is the administrative centre of the city of Seberang Perai in Penang, Malaysia. It also serves as the seat of the Central Seberang Perai District. As of 2010, Bukit Mertajam (core) contains a total of 13,097 residents.Whilst founded in the 19th century as an agricultural area, Bukit Mertajam also evolved into a transportation hub, following the completion of a railway line towards Perai at the end of the century. To this day, its railway station remains a major Malayan Railway station within Seberang Perai. Bukit Mertajam is also well known for its Catholic congregation, which is centred at the St. Anne's Church. The church is one of the focal locations within Southeast Asia for the annual Novena celebrations.It is the birthplace of the two-time Leader of the Opposition and 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim.

Mengkuang Dam (Malay: Empangan Mengkuang, Tasik Mengkuang) is a dam in Central Seberang Perai District, Penang, Malaysia. It is the only dam situated in Seberang Perai (Penang Mainland) and the second dam built in Penang after Ayer Itam dam. It was officially opened by the former governor, Dr. Tun Awang bin Hassan in 1985. It has the water catchment area of 3.9 km2 (1.5 sq mi) and a gross storage capacity of 23.6 billion litres (5.2×109 imp gal; 6.2×109 US gal) makes it the largest dam in Penang, almost 10 times the capacity of the Air Itam Dam. Mengkuang Dam closed to the public from August 1, 2011, until July 31, 2016, for enlargement and renovation. The US$200 million enlargement includes increasing the height of the dam by 11 m (36 ft) and its length 1.7 km (1.1 mi) to the west. A new intake and spillway will also be added.

The Central Seberang Perai District (Malay: Daerah Seberang Perai Tengah; abbreviated: "SPT") is a district in the state of Penang, Malaysia. It covers an area of 238 square kilometres, and had a population of 371,975 at the 2010 Census . The district is bordered by Perai River which separates North Seberang Perai in the north, Junjong River which separates South Seberang Perai in the south, Kedah state border in the east and South Channel which separates Penang Island. Juru River also flows through the district. The capital of this district is Bukit Mertajam. Other localities that are situated in Central Seberang Perai include Permatang Pauh, Penanti, Bukit Tengah, Bukit Minyak, Juru, Alma, Machang Bubok and Permatang Tinggi. The entertainment, eatery and automobile venue of Autocity is also located in this district. Heavy industrial areas cover most parts of Central Seberang Perai.

Mengkuang Titi is a small Malay village in Central Seberang Perai District, Penang, Malaysia. It is located not too far from the Mengkuang Dam. The village has a population of about 800, and still retains the rustic feel ideal for the development of agricultural and cottage industries.

The Bukit Tengah station (Malay: Stesen keretapi Bukit Tengah) is a Malaysian railway station located at and named after the town of Bukit Tengah, Penang.

Sungai Dua is a township in Butterworth, Seberang Perai, Penang, Malaysia. Not to be confuse for Sungai Dua on George Town, the Sungai Dua on Butterworth is located to the north of Perai River and to the east of the North-South Expressway. This area has experienced rapid housing development. The main road in Sungai Dua is Jalan Sungai Dua P198 which pass over the township. The exit 165 of the North-South Expressway Northern Route (Sungai Dua IC) was located near the township.
