Richmond upon Thames College is a large college of further and higher education located on a single site in Twickenham. It provides education and training to 16- to 18-year-olds and adults from across the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and further afield. The college offers a range of academic and technical vocational qualifications, including A Levels, technical vocational qualifications, higher education courses and apprenticeships. The college is since 2023 part of a newly merged group together with Harrow College and Uxbridge College.

Richmond upon Thames School (RTS), is a co-educational secondary free school located in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond, south-west London, established in September 2017. The Salvation Army, Twickenham is a Salvation Army church on May Road, Twickenham TW2 6QW in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its facilities include a community centre, part-funded by a housing association, Thames Valley Housing (TVH); the centre opened in 2014.

Twickenham is a suburban district in London, England. It is situated on the River Thames 9.9 miles (15.9 km) southwest of Charing Cross. Historically part of Middlesex, it has formed part of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames since 1965, and the borough council's administrative headquarters are located in the area. The population, including St Margarets and Whitton, was 62,148 at the 2011 census.Twickenham is the home of the Rugby Football Union, with hundreds of thousands of spectators visiting Twickenham Stadium each year. The historic riverside area has a network of 18th-century buildings and pleasure grounds, many of which have survived intact.This area has three grand period mansions with public access: York House, Marble Hill and Strawberry Hill House. Another has been lost, that belonging to 18th-century aphoristic poet Alexander Pope, who was known as the Bard of Twickenham. Strawberry Hill, the Neo-Gothic prototype home of Horace Walpole is linked with the oldest Roman Catholic university in the country, St Mary's University.

Whitton is an area in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, England. Historically, the boundaries of Whitton were the north-western part of Twickenham manor, bounded internally by the sections of the River Crane and the Duke of Northumberland's River.The main focus of Whitton is its High Street, which is one of the best-preserved 1930s high streets in London. The most common type of housing in the area is 1930s detached and semi-detached housing. Whitton lies on the A316 road, which leads to the M3 motorway, and has a railway station on the line from London Waterloo to Windsor. As a mainly residential area in outer London, many residents commute to Central London. Education, retail, transport and catering businesses are also significant local employers.

Holy Trinity Twickenham is a Grade II listed Church of England church on Twickenham Green in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Its vicar is Tim Garrett. The church building dates from 1841.

Twickenham United Reformed Church, formerly Twickenham Congregational Church, on Twickenham Green at First Cross Road, Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, is a United Reformed Church congregation. Its Minister is Stephen Lewis. The church's founder was Lady Amelia Shaw, second wife of Sir Robert Shaw, whose schoolroom (the site of the current church hall) was registered for public worship in 1835. The first chapel was built in 1844 and the premises were significantly rebuilt and enlarged in 1866.Services are held on Sundays at 10.30am and 6pm.

The World Rugby Museum is a sports museum in the South Stand of Twickenham Stadium, London, England. Its collection comprises over 37,000 pieces of rugby memorabilia, boots, balls, jerseys, programmes, match-tickets, books and assorted paraphernalia. The museum was first opened as The Museum of Rugby, in 1996, becoming the World Rugby Museum in 2007. It re-opened in early February 2018.

The Royal Military School of Music (RMSM) trains musicians for the British Army's fourteen regular bands, as part of the Royal Corps of Army Music. Until August 2021, the school was based at Kneller Hall in Twickenham, however it moved to HMS Nelson in Portsmouth following closure of Kneller.

Brinsworth House is a residential and nursing retirement home for theatre and entertainment professionals in Staines Road, Twickenham, west London, England. The house is owned and run by the Royal Variety Charity and has 36 bedrooms, six living rooms, a library, an in-house bar and stage, and a staff of 64. It is set in five acres (two hectares) of land.

Kneller Hall is a Grade II listed mansion in Whitton, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It housed the Royal Military School of Music, training musicians for the British Army, which acquired the building in the mid-19th century. It was also home to the school's Museum of Army Music. The Army vacated the site on 31 August 2021.
