The Tour Oxygène (Oxygen Tower in English) is a skyscraper which rises 28 levels in the district of La Part-Dieu in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, France. It forms part of the Oxygen Project, which includes the office tower and a shopping center, the Cours Oxygène. The tower rises 115 meters high. This zone is served by the metro line

Part-Dieu (French: [la paʁ djø]) is an area of Lyon Metropolis. It is also the second largest tertiary district in France, after La Défense in Greater Paris, with over 1,150,000 m2 of office and service space, along with 45,000 service sector jobs, 2,500 companies and a 97% occupancy rate. The area contains the Part-Dieu train station.Located on the Left Bank of the Rhône river, this urban centre also provides major entertainment and cultural facilities, including one of the largest urban shopping malls in Europe, 800 shops, Paul Bocuse indoor food market, café terraces, the Auditorium concert hall, Bourse du Travail theatre, Municipal Library, Departmental Archives and Montluc Fort. Moreover, it harbours Tour Incity (202m), Tour Part-Dieu (164m) and Tour Oxygène (117m), making Lyon one of the few European cities able to display high-rise architecture right next to its historical core.The CBD is currently undergoing major renovation and construction works, according to a revitalization project totalling €2.5 billion between public and private investments.

The Lyon trolleybus system (French: Réseau de trolleybus de Lyon) is part of the public transport network of the city and commune of Lyon, France. Opened in 1935, it combines with the Lyon Metro, the Lyon tramway network and Lyon's urban motorbus network to form an integrated system. Lyon was one of the first cities in France to experience trolleybuses. It is the capitale du trolleybus français ("capital of the French trolleybus"). In 1961, the Lyon trolleybus system had the largest number of trolleybuses ever to operate simultaneously in France (370 vehicles). In the 21st century, it has been a leader in the development of new trolley buses. The system is owned by SYTRAL, and, like most of the rest of the four managed transportation systems, is operated by Keolis Lyon on behalf of Transports en commun lyonnais (TCL). Since 2006, it has been expanded by the electrification of two major new lines (C1 and C2). As of 2015, the system consisted of nine lines.

Gare de la Part-Dieu (literally "Property of God" railway station) is the primary railway station of Lyon's Central Business District in France. It belongs to the Paris-Lyon-Marseille railway. Train services are mainly operated by SNCF with frequent TGV high-speed and TER regional services as well as Eurostar and Deutsche Bahn. Lyon's second railway station, Gare de Lyon-Perrache, is located in the south of the historical centre.

Westfield La Part-Dieu mall is a major shopping centre inside Lyon-Part-Dieu Business District, in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, France. It used to be one of Europe's largest downtown shopping center when it opened on September the 8th, 1975. Located in front of La Part-Dieu train station, it is currently undergoing renovation works, according to a Winy Maas overhaul design.

Tour To-Lyon is a mixed-use skyscraper under construction in the La Part-Dieu business district of Lyon, France. The building will include 66,000 m2 of office space, 10,500 m2 of hotel space and 3,500 m2 of retail space. With a height of 170 m it will become the second-tallest skyscraper in Lyon after Tour Incity (202 m) completed in 2015. On 5 September 2019 Apicil Group that will occupy 20,000 m2 of the tower announced a deal with the developer of the project Vinci Immobilier to acquire the totality of the office space (66,000 m2) for an estimated price of €500 million.On 9 September 2019 Vinci Immobilier with the presence of Gerard Collomb the Mayor of Lyon, Dominique Perrault the architect and Philippe Barret CEO of Apicil Group have officially launched the tower project with a symbolic laying of the building's foundation stone.

The Gare des Brotteaux is an old railway station located in the Brotteaux quarter, in the 6th arrondissement of Lyon.

Rhônexpress is an express tram-train service which links central Lyon, France, with its airport, Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport, and the TGV train station located there. In 2010, it was one of the most expensive airport-to-city lines in Europe per kilometer.The route is 23 kilometres (14 mi) long, and served by six tram-train sets, built by Swiss manufacturer Stadler Rail. The route from the airport to the city's business center at Part-Dieu Villette (Lyon-Part-Dieu railway station) by way of Vaulx-en-Velin – La Soie (for transfer to Metro Line A) and Meyzieu takes roughly half an hour. Services run every 15–30 minutes. The project included building 8.5 kilometres (5.3 mi) of new tracks, while the remainder of the route runs along the existing T3 tram line, on which passing tracks were built in some stations to allow express service. The service is independently run and is not a part of the TCL system, although it appears on TCL maps. The Conseil général of the Rhône franchised the operation of this line for 30 years to Rhônexpress, a consortium including Vinci SA (28.2%), Veolia Transport (28.2%), Vossloh Infrastructure Service (4.2%), Cegelec Centre Est (2.8%) and the Caisse des dépôts et consignations. It opened on 9 August 2010.

France 3 Rhône-Alpes Auvergne is one of France 3's regional services broadcasting to people in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It was founded in 1954 as RTF Télé-Lyon. The service is headquartered in Lyon, the capital of the region. Programming is also produced by France 3 Rhône-Alpes.The service can also be seen in Switzerland.

The Tour Silex 2 (Silex 2 Tower in English, usually presented in the form Silex²) is an office skyscraper which rises 23 levels in the district of La Part-Dieu in the 3rd arrondissement of Lyon, France. The tower rises 129 meters high. It is currently under construction and will be delivered in 2021.The new building will offer 30,700 square meters of office space over 23 floors. The tower is therefore a continuation of the Silex 1 project, a small office building completed and delivered on May 11, 2017.In 2021, the Belgian group Solvay, one of the leaders in world chemicals, will move into the tower and should occupy 9,000 m2 of offices, on eight levels.

The Tour Part-Dieu (formerly Tour du Crédit Lyonnais, or colloquially Le Crayon, or The Pencil) is a skyscraper in Lyon, France. The building is 164.9 metres (541 ft) tall, in La Part-Dieu district, with 42 floors. The building was completed in 1977. It currently stands as the thirteenth-tallest building in France. The top 10 floors are occupied by Radisson Blu Hotel Lyon, the highest hotel in Europe. The other floors are offices. It is a work of the American firm Araldo Cossutta & Associates and the construction occurred between 1972 and 1977. According to the wishes of the architect, the roof of this tower is roughly the same height as Notre Dame de Fourviere. At the opening in 1977, it was the 4th tallest building in France. The tower has a cylindrical shape. It is topped by a 23-metre high pyramid. On the occasion of its 31st anniversary, the tower changed its name and logo. On 22 September 2008, the building was officially renamed Tour Part Dieu. The tower is fondly named Le Crayon ("The Pencil") by the Lyonnese due to its shape, and the new logo includes this nickname. The tower is served by the Gare Part-Dieu – Vivier Merle station on the metro line .
