Grand Valley North Aerodrome

Grand Valley (formerly The Township of East Luther Grand Valley) is a town in the Canadian province of Ontario. It comprises the former Township of East Luther and the former Village of Grand Valley. The town is located within Dufferin County, and includes part of the Luther Marsh. The marsh covers over 10,000 acres (40 km²) including Luther Lake. The Grand River is one of the major sites in the town.

Amaranth is a township located in Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada, with a 2021 population of 4,327. It is named after the plant which grows abundantly within its borders. It is bordered by Mono to the east and East Luther to the west. The hamlet of Laurel is located on the 5th Line (or County Road 12) and 10th Sideroad (or County Road 10). Laurelwoods Elementary School is located just outside this community, on the 6th Line and 10th Sideroad. The township building is also at this location, and has a park with baseball diamonds and soccer fields on its property. Amaranth's system of naming roads is similar to that of the Dufferin County townships of Mono and Mulmur, and the Simcoe County townships of Adjala and Tosorontio. The system names roads running parallel to Highway 10 in Amaranth "Lines." Each is assigned a number from the town line westward in sequence. Roads running perpendicular to the Lines are numbered Sideroads, and are numbered using multiples of five ascending northward from County Road 109.

Splatalot! was a medieval-themed physical game show which premiered in Canada on Corus Entertainment's YTV on 14 March 2011, hosted by Jason Agnew and Matt Chin. It premiered in the United Kingdom on the British Broadcasting Corporation's CBBC on 13 June 2011 with Dick and Dom as hosts and in Australia on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's ABC3 on 5 November 2011 with Kayne Tremills and Scott Tweedie as hosts. The series was inspired by the game show Wipeout, designed for a younger demographic. The British and Australian CBBC and ABC3 broadcasts of the show used the same filmed footage as the original Canadian YTV version, but with local presenters providing commentary. Splatalot! was produced by marblemedia and commissioned as an international co-production by Corus Entertainment, the British Broadcasting Corporation and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It featured a large, extreme obstacle course and three rounds of competition: Cross the Moat, Ditch the Dungeon (Escape the Stockade in the first series), and Capture the Crown. Each episode featured a different group of 12 teenage contestants (known as Attackers) competing against not only the obstacles and the clock but also the Defenders. The Defenders are an international squad of nine medieval-themed gladiators, who are tasked with protecting the castle from the Attackers. The winning Attacker is crowned King or Queen of Splatalot!. This king or queen was able to then choose a defender to punish in one of many ways, such as throwing them into the water with a catapult.

The Amaranth Wind Farm, also known as the Melancthon EcoPower Centre, is a 199.5 megawatt (MW) wind farm in Amaranth and Melancthon Township, near Shelburne, Ontario. The centre is owned and operated by TransAlta and at the time of opening, was Canada's largest wind energy installation.Construction of the Melancthon EcoPower Centre began with the 67.5 MW Phase I in 2005 and achieved commercial operation in March 2006. Construction of the 132 MW Phase II of the project began in 2007 and achieved full commercial operation in November 2008.
