Grand Valley (Madill Field) Aerodrome

Lake Belwood is a reservoir in East Garafraxa, Dufferin County and Centre Wellington, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. It is on the Grand River, whose waters were impounded in 1942 by the erection of the Shand Dam for flood control and the generation of hydroelectricity. The community of Belwood is on the north shore of the lake, and only the easternmost portion of the lake is in Dufferin County. Belwood Lake Conservation Area, operated by the Grand River Conservation Authority, surrounds almost the whole lake.

Amaranth is a township located in Dufferin County, Ontario, Canada, with a 2021 population of 4,327. It is named after the plant which grows abundantly within its borders. It is bordered by Mono to the east and East Luther to the west. The hamlet of Laurel is located on the 5th Line (or County Road 12) and 10th Sideroad (or County Road 10). Laurelwoods Elementary School is located just outside this community, on the 6th Line and 10th Sideroad. The township building is also at this location, and has a park with baseball diamonds and soccer fields on its property.
