Harrods Hill is a neighborhood in southwestern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are Harrodsburg Road to the east, Man o' War Boulevard to the south, and the Beaumont Centre neighborhood to the north and west. The boundary is based on when development occurred, as Harrods Hill is the older section. The smaller Harrodsview neighborhood is typically included in Harrods Hill for statistical purposes. Development of Harrods Hill began in the late 1970s and the last home was constructed in 1997.

Beaumont Centre is a neighborhood and major retail and office park in southwestern Lexington, Kentucky, United States. Its boundaries are New Circle Road to the north, the older Harrods Hill neighborhood to the south, Man o' War Boulevard to the west, and Harrodsburg Road to the east. The area was one of the last undeveloped areas off New Circle Road, development began in the early 1990s. New Circle Road (Lexington's inner beltway) blocks direct access between Beaumont Centre and nearby the Beaumont Park or Garden Springs neighborhoods. Venue MoonDance Amphitheater was built in 2010 by developers Tim and Andy Haymaker. Located in the heart of Beaumont Centre circle, this performance and event venue offers a diverse lineup of movies, food fairs, and summer concerts, with lawn seating. Known for its live music on the grounds on warm summer nights. The events feature anywhere from local to national artistic talent.Craft beer and food trucks are onsite and available at most events. The James Allen House, also known as Scarlet Gate, in Lexington, Kentucky, was the home of writer James Lane Allen. The house, originally a 2-story Federal design, dates from the 1790s, and in the original section numbered rafters are joined with wooden pegs. The south wing of the house had been constructed prior to arrival of the Allen family in 1851, and the north wing was added in the 1930s, over a large room constructed earlier in the 20th century. The James Allen House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Allen described the house in his introduction to A Kentucky Cardinal, written in 1894 and published by Harper & Brothers in 1895, although he may not have lived in the house after 1872.In 2011 The Lexington School purchased the Allen House and its surrounding 12.6 acres.

The Aviation Museum of Kentucky is an aviation museum located at the Blue Grass Airport in Lexington, Kentucky. Incorporated in 1989, and opened to the public in April, 1995. It includes over 20,000 square feet (1,900 m2) of exhibit space, a library, and an aircraft restoration and repair shop. The museum is the home of the Kentucky Aviation Hall of Fame. Historic airplanes, photos, documents and training equipment are all included in the museum's permanent collection. A great number of the items from the museum's original displays were donated from the personal collections of members of the Kentucky Aviation History Roundtable. The Roundtable is a local group of aviation enthusiasts, founded in 1978, who developed the idea of a permanent aviation museum at the Blue Grass Airport. As a part of its collection, the museum displays both military and civilian aircraft. Detailing aviation history, the museum houses exhibits that include jet fighters, sailplanes, aircraft engines, satellites and a wide range of scale aircraft models and artifacts. A gift shop is also available.
