Mississauga—Malton is a federal electoral district in Ontario. It encompasses a portion of Ontario previously included in the electoral districts of Bramalea—Gore—Malton, Mississauga—Brampton South and Mississauga—Streetsville.Mississauga—Malton was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, scheduled for October 2015.

Bramalea GO Station is a GO Transit railway and bus station along the Kitchener line in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is located at 1713 Steeles Avenue East, near the community of Bramalea at Steeles Avenue East and Bramalea Road. In addition to the Kitchener line train service, it is also served by numerous GO Transit and Brampton Transit bus routes. Bramalea is equipped with parking facilities, elevators for wheelchair access, a station building housing a waiting room and ticket sales, a Ticket Vending Machine, and a bus loop.

Mississauga East—Cooksville is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario since the 2007 provincial election.

Mississauga—Brampton South was a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 2004 to 2015. It consists of the parts of the cities of Mississauga and Brampton bounded by a line drawn from the intersection of Highway 401 with the northeastern limit of the City of Mississauga, south along the city limit, southwest along Burnhamthorpe Road East, northwest along Central Parkway East, southwest along Highway 403, northwest along Mavis Road; thence northwesterly along said road to Eglinton Avenue West; thence southwesterly along said avenue to Terry Fox Way; thence northwesterly along said way to Britannia Road West; thence northeasterly along said road to Mavis Road, southwest along Highway 401, northwest along Mississauga Road, northeast along the northwestern limit of the City of Mississauga, northwest along McLaughlin Road, northeast along Steeles Avenue East, southeast along Kennedy Road South, northeast along the northwestern limit of the City of Mississauga, southeast along Dixie Road, and northeast along Highway 401 to the point of commencement. Following the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution, the bulk of the district will be part of the new Mississauga—Malton district, with other parts transferred to Mississauga East—Cooksville, Mississauga Centre, Mississauga—Streetsville, Brampton South, and Brampton Centre.

The CAA Centre (formerly the Brampton Centre for Sports & Entertainment and the Powerade Centre) is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It was built in 1998, and officially opened the same year on October 7. In 2023, the arena became home to the Brampton Honey Badgers of the Canadian Elite Basketball League. In April 2023, it hosted the 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship. It was previously home to the Brampton Battalion of the Ontario Hockey League, the Brampton Beast of the ECHL, and the Brampton Excelsiors lacrosse teams. In the main arena, the seats are purple, with private suites located around the top of seating area. The club seats are on the penalty box side of the arena. There is a video scoreboard that was added for the Brampton Beast's inaugural season. The concourse is horseshoe-shaped. The main arena is part of larger community complex that includes three smaller ice pads and outdoor softball diamonds. It is located at 7575 Kennedy Road, on the south side of the city, between Steeles Avenue and Highway 407.

Mississauga Cogeneration Plant was a natural gas power station partially owned by TransAlta and located adjacent to Toronto Pearson International Airport. The plant was primarily used to supply steam and power to nearby industrial clients with surplus power sold onto the Ontario grid. From 1992 to 2007, it supplied thermal energy to the McDonnell Douglas and later Boeing aircraft parts plant. As of 2018 the plant is no longer actively generating electricity. The plant started demolition in April 2020. The plant was located across near Airport Road and Derry Road next to the former Boeing aircraft plant (now demolished).

Turner Fenton Secondary School is a high school in the Peel Region, located in Brampton, Ontario. The principal is Kevin Williams. It is operated by the Peel District School Board, and is credited as one of the highest funded schools in Ontario, with an endowment of $2 million. Feeder schools (elementary & middle schools whose graduates usually go to Turner Fenton) include Peel Alternative School North, Cherrytree Public School, Fletcher's Creek Sr. Public School, Helen Wilson Public School, Hickory Wood Public School, Parkway Public School, Sir Wilfrid Laurier Public School and William G. Davis Sr. Public School. Turner Fenton Secondary School's name is inherited from two schools that were later merged, which were named after J. A. Turner, the first director of the Peel board, and W. J. Fenton, a pioneer educator. Thus, Turner Fenton has two buildings, often referred to as "North" and "South".

Bramalea—Gore—Malton was a provincial electoral district in Southern Ontario, Canada. It was created for the 2007 provincial election. All of the district was carved from Bramalea—Gore—Malton—Springdale. The riding includes the part of Mississauga north of the 401 and east of Dixie Road and the part of Brampton east of a line following Dixie Road to Bovaird Drive to Torbram Road. In 2018, the district was dissolved into Brampton East, Mississauga—Malton, Brampton Centre, and Brampton North. The riding has the unusual distinction of only ever having been held by members of Canada's Sikh visible minority.

Rogers Park, Brampton (formerly Nortel Brampton Centre and Northern Electric Brampton Works) is a business complex and the corporate offices of Rogers Communications in Brampton, Ontario. It is not the company head office, which is located in downtown Toronto. Located at 8200 Dixie Road, the building was acquired by Rogers in 2006 from Nortel, which used the building as their global headquarters since 1997. The building, designed by Texas based architects HOK Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum and constructed by Jackson-Lewis, has 1,000,000 square feet (93,000 m2) of space on 63 acres of land. The building houses 5,000 Rogers staff.,The site was once Nortel's manufacturing facilities (Bramalea Works), built in 1963 for Northern Electric which became Northern Telecom in 1976 and Nortel Networks in 1999, and remodelled after 1996 to accommodate staff from their Mississauga, Ontario headquarters.This is Rogers' second building bought from companies that failed or are failing. The headquarters Rogers Building was acquired from bankrupt Confederation Life. Rogers Park was acquired from the liquidation of Nortel's assets.

On April 17, 2023, a grand theft occurred at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, with over C$20 million (US$15 million) worth of gold and other high-value items being stolen. In the evening of Monday, April 17, a container which contained the items was offloaded off an inbound aircraft according to normal procedures and transferred to an airport holding facility before it was "removed by illegal means", according to Peel Regional Police. An anonymous source familiar with the investigation confirmed to CTV News Toronto that the container was offloaded off an Air Canada aircraft and was subsequently transferred to an Air Canada holding facility at Pearson Airport, but this has not been confirmed by Peel Regional Police. No suspects have been identified.The gold was bound for the Canadian bank Toronto-Dominion Bank while the cash was enroute to the Vancouver Bullion and Currency Exchange.

It handled 50.5 million passengers in 2019. The airport is named in honour of Lester B. Pearson, who served as the 14th prime minister of Canada and received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1957. Toronto Pearson is located 22.5 kilometres (14.0 mi) northwest of Downtown Toronto with the majority of the airport situated in Mississauga and a small portion of the airfield, along Silver Dart Drive north of Renforth Drive, extending into Toronto's western district of Etobicoke. It has five runways and two passenger terminals along with numerous cargo and maintenance facilities on a site that covers 1,867 hectares (4,613 acres).It is the largest and busiest airport in Canada. Prior to 2020, it was the second-busiest international air passenger gateway in the Americas and the 30th-busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic. Toronto Pearson is the primary hub for Air Canada. It also serves as a hub for WestJet, cargo airline FedEx Express, and as a base of operations for Air Transat and Sunwing Airlines. Toronto Pearson is operated by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) as part of Transport Canada's National Airports System, and is the largest airport in the world with facilities for United States border preclearance.An extensive network of non-stop domestic flights is operated from Toronto Pearson by several airlines to all major and many secondary cities across all provinces of Canada. As of 2014, over 75 airlines operated around 1,250 daily departures from the airport to more than 180 destinations across all six of the world's inhabited continents.
