WHOO (1080 AM) is a non-commercial listener-supported Catholic talk radio station licensed to Winter Park, Florida, and serving Greater Orlando. It is an owned and operated network affiliate of Relevant Radio.By day, WHOO is powered at 6,000 watts. But 1080 AM is a clear channel frequency reserved for Class A WTIC Hartford and KRLD Dallas. So at night, to reduce interference, WHOO reduces power to only 55 watts. It uses a directional antenna at all times.

As an IB World School, CCHS is a local magnet school allowing students from other Orange County, Florida schools to attend.Cypress Creek High School receives graduating students from Meadow Woods Middle School, South Creek Middle School and Walker Middle School. However, it is a magnet school, so students from surrounding middle schools (e.g. Hunters Creek Middle School, Freedom Middle School, Westridge Middle School, Lake Nona Middle School, Southwest Middle School) also attend Cypress Creek albeit in smaller numbers.

The Colonial Estate (also known as the Tucker/Ivey House) is a historic site in Kissimmee, Florida. It is located at 2450 Old Dixie Highway. On January 3, 1994, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. This home was built c. 1916 by J. Wade Tucker, a lumber baron from Georgia. It was later purchased in the 1930s by Hilda and Lester Ivey and is still owned today by this family.

The Hart Memorial Central Library is a member of the Osceola Library System. It is the headquarters of the Osceola Library system. Located on Dakin Avenue in downtown Kissimmee, Florida, United States, the two-story library is home to the Ray Shanks Law Library and a specialized Genealogy Collection.
