Austin station (MTR)

King George V Memorial Park, Kowloon is a park in Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong, located beside Canton Road. There are two parks of this name in Hong Kong. The other one is in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong Island.

West Kowloon station (abbreviated WEK), also known as Hong Kong West Kowloon and West Kowloon, is the terminus and only station of the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong Express Rail Link (HSR). The station connects to Mainland China's HSR network (world's longest) through dedicated tunnels and includes a Mainland Port Area where the laws of Mainland China are enforced. It was constructed by MTR Corporation.The terminal railway station is located in Jordan, West Kowloon, north of the proposed West Kowloon Cultural District between the Airport Express and Tung Chung line's Kowloon station and the Tuen Ma line's Austin station. The footprint of the new station extends into the basement of the West Kowloon Cultural District.The original scheduled opening date of 2012 was delayed until 2015 following the shake-up of high-speed rail construction across China after the 2011 Wenzhou train collision. While construction of the station was still planned for completion in 2015, major flooding occurred in the railway tunnels under construction on 30 March 2014. This resulted in great damage to the tunnel boring machines. Internal MTR reports suggested causes were incomplete tender drawings, site surveys, and planning before construction began. The station was formally opened on 4 September 2018 and high-speed trains started to run to destinations in Mainland China from 23 September 2018.RTHK reported that the final cost of the construction was 30% more than the initial estimate.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chief Executive Carrie Lam announced that West Kowloon station will be closed from 12AM on 30 January 2020, until further notice.

Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop (Chinese: 麥文記麵家), on Kowloon peninsula is a traditional Guangdong restaurant specialising in wonton noodle. It is located in Parkes Street, near Jordan MTR station in Hong Kong. It is considered a "must-stop spot" for the wonton noodle by The Essential Kowloon, and was awarded a star in the Michelin Guide in 2017. The business was founded in 1957 as a dai pai dong. It has since moved indoors, and celebrated its 50th anniversary in May 2007.Its recipe for the Cantonese noodles, hand-made using just flour and eggs (including duck eggs), is traditional, and has remained unchanged since the business was founded by the father of the current owner. The soup base is aimed to be tasty, without excessively drowning out the taste of the wonton noodles, and no monosodium glutamate is used.The "wonton noodle" is synonymous with wonton and noodles served in piping hot bouillon. However, the restaurant's menu includes combinations of noodles' accompaniments in addition to or instead of the traditional wonton, and which may be served in a bouillon, or dry (捞麵). A bowl of wonton noodles costs HK$21 as at June 2007, and aficionados are willing to travel some considerable distance to dine in relatively packed and spartan premises, and will often queue up outside in preference to nearby restaurants serving similar fare at about $10 a bowl. The restaurant received its Michelin Star in 2017.

Jordan Road is a road in Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It spans from the West Kowloon Highway in West Kowloon, through Ferry Point to Gascoigne Road and is a major east-west road in southern Kowloon.

Ferry Point (Chinese: 渡船角), also known as Austin, is an area located on the west of Jordan, Kowloon, Hong Kong. It was at the seafront and adjacent to former Jordan Road Ferry Pier. However, after reclamation, the ferry pier was then demolished and the name Austin is frequently used instead of Ferry Point. Ferry Point is often considered as the area at the west of Jordan and Kwun Chung, the south of Tai Kok Tsui and the east of Elements (a mall above Kowloon station of the MTR Airport Express and Tung Chung line).

Man Wah Sun Chuen (Chinese: 文華新村) is a private housing estate at the junction of Jordan Road and Ferry Street, in Yau Ma Tei, Kowloon, Hong Kong, near the former Jordan Road Ferry Pier (now MTR Austin station). Formerly the site of the warehouse of Yaumatei Ferry Pier on the reclaimed land of West Jordan, Man Wah Sun Chuen has a total of eight blocks built in 1965 and it is one of the oldest private housing estates in Hong Kong. Its three sides were surrounded by the sea before the West Kowloon Reclamation was completed in the 1990s.

The Victoria Towers (Chinese: 港景峰; Jyutping: gong2 ging2 fung1) are a high-rise residential development located in the Tsim Sha Tsui area of Hong Kong. The complex consists of three towers, each rising 62 floors and 213 metres (699 ft) in height.The complex is located at No.188 Canton Road, at the intersection with Austin Road and was designed by Rocco Design Architects Limited and developed by Cheung Kong Holdings and Hutchison Whampoa Properties. Construction began in 2000 and was completed in 2003. The base of the complex is occupied by the Victoria Mall shopping center.

The Scout Association of Hong Kong is the largest scouting organisation in Hong Kong. Scout training was first introduced in Hong Kong in 1909 and 1910 by the Protestant based Boys' Brigade, Chums Scout Patrols and British Boy Scouts. The Catholic St. Joseph's College, formed its Boy Scout Troop in 1913, and registered with the Boy Scouts Association of the United Kingdom in 1914. The Boy Scouts Association formed its Hong Kong Local Association in July 1915 which became its Hong Kong Branch. After changes to the name of the United Kingdom organisation in 1967, the branch name was changed to The Scout Association Hong Kong Branch. In 1977, The Scout Association of Hong Kong was constituted as an autonomous association and successor to The Scout Association's Hong Kong Branch and became the 111th member of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM) in 1977. In 2008, the association had 95,877 uniformed members, with approximately 2700 Scout groups in the sections Grasshopper Scouts, Cubs, Scouts, Venture and Rover Scouts, making it the largest uniformed youth organisation in Hong Kong. The headquarters at the Hong Kong Scout Centre (香港童軍中心) in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon host the administration, headed by the Hong Kong Chief Commissioner (香港總監). The association runs campsites, including Gilwell Campsite (基維爾營地), Tai Tam Scout Centre (大潭童軍中心) and Tung Tsz Scout Centre (洞梓童軍中心), as well as hostels and Scout Activity Centres. It annually organises the traditional Scout Rally, providing Scout competitions and activities. For specific anniversaries, themed jamborees have been organised. The Scout movement is the largest uniform group in Hong Kong, consisting of more than 100,000 members.

Jordan Road Ferry Pier or Ferry Point (1924–1998) (Chinese: 佐敦道碼頭) is a demolished pier originally located at Jordan Road, Jordan, Hong Kong.

The B P International, more formally known as Baden-Powell International House, is a 25-storey three star hotel and conference centre in the Tsim Sha Tsui neighbourhood on the Kowloon Peninsula, Hong Kong. Run by The Scout Association of Hong Kong, which hold offices there, it shows limited Scouting presence. The formal address is 8 Austin Road.

Tsim Sha Tsui Fire Station is a fire station in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The station stands at the Canton Road, adjacent to China Hong Kong City. The front door of the station was styled with old style fire alarm lights and guarded by a pair of lion statues. The site was once a Royal Navy torpedo depot.

Temple Street is a street located in the areas of Jordan and Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon, Hong Kong. It is known for its night market and as one of the busiest flea markets at night in the territory. The night market lies in the Yau Ma Tei, Jordan part of the street. Popular with tourists and locals alike in the evening, it is also common to see the place crowded at dusk. It sells cheap merchandise and food items. The place is sometimes known as "Men's Street".
