Braziers Park is a Grade II* country house and estate on the edge of Ipsden - a small village near Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England - housing a secular intentional community and the School of Integrative Social Research. It has also been used as a film location for large- and small-budget films.The house once belonged to Ian Fleming's family, and the room that was once Fleming's nursery is now a library.

Ipsden is a village and civil parish in the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire, about 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Wallingford. It is almost equidistant from Oxford and Reading, Berkshire.

Chiltern Park Aerodrome was a private airfield near Woodcote and Ipsden in Oxfordshire. It was within RAF Benson's Military Aerodrome Traffic Zone.The airfield was established in 1988, and it catered for gyroplanes, microlights, helicopters, and gliders, as well as general aircraft. In 2011 it became the weekend home of London Parachute School. The airfield was ordered to close in June 2021, with the official closing date being 24 September after 33 years of operation. The closure of the airfield was ordered by a local farmer and his wife, who own the land on which the airfield was sited, and live close by. The couple complained about the venture growing "too big over the years", and that the noise of the aircraft "disturbs families living nearby". Since 2022, the aerodrome has been reverted to farmland. The Booker Gliding Club formerly operated at the airfield, as they weren't able to operate at their home airfield of Wycombe Air Park due to legal disputes between the leaseholder of the airfield and the council.

Woodcote is a village and civil parish in South Oxfordshire, about 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Wallingford and about 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Reading, Berkshire. It is in the Chiltern Hills, and the highest part of the village is 600 feet (180 m) above sea level. Woodcote lies between the Goring Road and the A4074. It is centred on the village green and Church Farm, with the village hall centred on the crossroads.

Langtree School is a coeducational secondary school located in the village of Woodcote in South Oxfordshire, England. The school has approximately 624 students and a team of around 55 teachers and support staff. It became a DfES Specialist Performing Arts College in 2006.Previously a community school administered by Oxfordshire County Council, in April 2012 Langtree School converted to academy status. The school was inspected by Ofsted in 2023, and was graded good.

Warren Bank is a 3.1-hectare (7.7-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest south-east of Wallingford in Oxfordshire. It is managed by the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust.This steeply sloping site has unimproved chalk grassland and scrub. There is a rich variety of flora, including horseshoe vetch, chalk milkwort and bee orchid. There are also many insects, with butterflies such as dark green fritillary and green hairstreak.

Crowmarsh is a fairly large, mostly rural civil parish in the South Oxfordshire, district, in the county of Oxfordshire, England, east and southeast of the town of Wallingford on the opposite bank of the River Thames and may also refer to its larger district council ward which extends to Ipsden and Nuffield. In 2011 it had a population of 2830.

Elvendon is a small settlement in Oxfordshire and the Chiltern Hills, near Goring. It includes the grade II listed building Elvendon Priory.

The Oratory School () is an HMC co-educational private Roman Catholic boarding and day school for pupils aged 11–18 located in Woodcote, 6 miles (9.7 km) north-west of Reading, England. Founded in 1859 by Saint John Henry Newman, The Oratory has historical ties to the Birmingham Oratory and the London Oratory School. Although a separate entity from the nearby Oratory Preparatory School, it shares a common history. Newman founded the school with the intention of providing boys with a Roman Catholic alternative to Eton College. Until 2020, when it first admitted girls, it was the only boys’ Roman Catholic public school left in the United Kingdom. According to the Good Schools Guide (last review: Oct 2021), the school is “an active choice for families looking for a small, nurturing environment."The Oratory has received the highest grade of 'Excellent' for both Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI Report: Nov 2021) categories: pupils’ academic & other achievements and pupils’ personal development.

Crays Pond is a hamlet situated in the parish of Goring Heath in South Oxfordshire. Crays Pond is about 2.4 miles (3.9 km) northeast of Goring-on-Thames and about 7.0 miles (11.3 km) northwest of Reading, Berkshire.

Goring Heath is a hamlet and civil parish in the Chiltern Hills in South Oxfordshire. The civil parish includes the villages of Whitchurch Hill and Crays Pond and some small hamlets. Goring Heath is centred 3 miles (4.8 km) southeast of Goring-on-Thames and about 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Reading, Berkshire. In 1724 Henry Alnutt, a lawyer of the Middle Temple in London, established a set of almshouses at Goring Heath. They form three sides of a courtyard, flanking a chapel of the same date. In the 1880s a school was built beside the almshouses in what was intended to be the same architectural style. A post office was added in 1900.Alnutt also left a continuing income from his estate at Goring Heath to teach, clothe and apprentice boys from five parishes. One of the parishes was Cassington in West Oxfordshire, where Alnutt's charity established a small school for boys. In 1833 the Alnutt school was absorbed into a new Cassington parish school, which in 1853 became Cassington's present St. Peter's Church of England primary school.

Exlade Street is a hamlet in Checkendon civil parish in Oxfordshire, about 6 miles (9.7 km) northwest of Reading, in the Chiltern Hills. The hamlet is about 445 feet (136 m) above sea level.
