The Australian Hall is a heritage-listed community building located at 150-152 Elizabeth Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was the site of the Day of Mourning protests by Aboriginal Australians on 26 January 1938. It was also known as the Cyprus Hellene Club. The property is owned by the Indigenous Land Corporation, a statutory corporation of the Australian Government. It was added to the Australian National Heritage List on 20 May 2008 and was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Metters Building is a heritage-listed office building at 154-158 Elizabeth Street, in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Robertson and Marks and built by W. Gawne & Sons in 1914. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Downing Centre is a major heritage-listed former department store and now courthouse complex in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It features state government courts, including the Local Court, the District Court, and a law library known as the Downing Centre Library. The Downing Centre forms part of the Department of Justice and houses court services and sheriffs offices. The Downing Centre is located in the Sydney central business district, on Liverpool Street, between Elizabeth Street and Castlereagh Street. It sits opposite the south-west corner of Hyde Park and Museum railway station. A subway links the Downing Centre directly to Museum Station from an entrance on Castlereagh Street. Originally called the Mark Foy's Piazza Store, the building was renamed as the Downing Centre in 1991 in honour of Reg Downing, a former NSW Attorney General and Minister for Justice. The building was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The United Grand Lodge of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory is the main governing body of Freemasonry within the Australian state of New South Wales that also wholly encloses the Australian Capital Territory containing the national capital city, Canberra. It originated from the union in 1888 of the earlier 1849 provincial Grand Lodge under the United Grand Lodge of England and other district and provincial Grand Lodges of the Grand Lodge of Ireland and the Grand Lodge of Scotland. The United Grand Lodge of NSW and ACT building is located in Sydney. The foundation stone for the current building on Castlereagh street was laid on 15 May 1976. It was officially opened and dedicated on 10 March 1979. The office tower was built in 2005. The current building houses The Masonic Museum, which is open to the public.

Crown Hotel is a heritage-listed hotel at 160–162 Elizabeth Street, Sydney, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Museum railway station is a heritage-listed underground commuter rail station that is located on the City Circle route at the southern end of Hyde Park in the Sydney central business district of New South Wales, Australia. The station is served by Sydney Trains T2 Inner West & Leppington and T3 Bankstown T8 Airport & South lines. The station is named after the nearby Australian Museum. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The North Apartments, located at 91 Goulburn Street, Sydney, Australia, were designed by the late architect Harry Seidler. Constructed between 2003–04, the building is oriented with a single façade to the North, facing Goulburn Street. Each of the 49 apartments features a wave-shaped balcony, so as to accommodate outdoor furniture, at its widened part. The balconies are arranged in a vertically staggered pattern so as to maximise the spatial feeling. As a result, the design breaks away from the usual box-like structures associated with 'infill' development. Colour is introduced into the façade by the use of integrally permanent coloured toughened glass on the balconies' end rails and dividing screens. There are a mixture of primary and neutral coloured accents all over the façade, giving the building a lively appearance. The apartments are designed following a split-level planning system, which results in a ceiling height of 2.85 m over the living area and 2.7 m in the raised bedrooms. These raised bedrooms have no windows, and open onto the lounge area. The building contains commercial space on the ground floor, and an indoor lap pool. The foyer of the building features a wall hanging of woven carpet, based on a wall mural in Rose Seidler House, painted by Seidler in 1950.

The Anzac Memorial is a heritage-listed war memorial, museum and monument located in Hyde Park South near Liverpool Street in the CBD of Sydney, Australia. It is also known as Anzac War Memorial, War Memorial Hyde Park and Hyde Park Memorial. The Art Deco monument was designed by C. Bruce Dellit, with the exterior adorned with monumental figural reliefs and sculptures by Rayner Hoff, and built from 1932 to 1934 by Kell & Rigby. This state-owned property was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 23 April 2010.The memorial is the focus of commemoration ceremonies on Anzac Day, Remembrance Day and other important occasions. It was built as a memorial to the Australian Imperial Force of World War I. Fund raising for a memorial began on 25 April 1916, the first anniversary of the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) landing at Anzac Cove for the Battle of Gallipoli. It was opened on 24 November 1934 by Prince Henry, Duke of Gloucester. In 2018, refurbishments and a major expansion were completed. The memorial was officially reopened by Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

The Hotel Hollywood is a building located on the corner of Foster and Hunt Streets in Surry Hills, inner city suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The building has aesthetic, historical and social significance. It is one of only five hotels "constructed in the Inter-War Functionalist style in the city during a short period between 1938 and 1942"; the others are the Australian (Broadway), the Civic, the Kegroom Tavern, and Sutherlands. The hotel is historically 'intact' having had no internal or external alterations of any kind. It is heritage listed as part of the Sydney Local Environmental Plan on 14 December 2012.Once owned by Tooth and Company it was originally called the Nevada. The Hotel Hollywood acquired its name in 1940 due to its location to the nearby cinema related industry. It saw women drinking at its bars as early as 1950. It is now most notable for its unpretentious, well worn, interior the spinning mirror ball and actress Doris Goddard. Goddard purchased the building in 1978 for $178,000 and remained its publican and proprietress for 42 years, up until her death in July 2019. In June 2021, the building was purchased by private investment firm Petersen Group for over $9 million.

HMAS Sydney I - SMS Emden Memorial is a heritage-listed former foreign naval ship gun and now war memorial and war trophy located in Hyde Park, on the corner of Liverpool and College Streets in the Sydney central business district, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by City of Sydney and built from 1917 by Messrs Loveridge and Hudson, Redfern. It is also known as HMAS Sydney 1 - SMS Emden Memorial (moveable heritage item) and Emden Gun. The property is owned by City of Sydney. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 27 February 2015.

Whitlam Square, a road junction located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, constitutes an important intersection of major streets in the south-eastern portion of the city's central business district. The square is named in honour of Gough Whitlam, the Prime Minister of Australia from 1972-75.Streets intersecting at Whitlam Square include Oxford Street, Liverpool Street, College Street and Wentworth Avenue. Latitude (previously known as the "Ernst & Young Tower at Latitude") is a skyscraper in Sydney's CBD, part of the World Square complex bounded by George, Goulburn, Liverpool and Pitt Streets in Sydney, Australia. Designed by Greg Crone, Latitude stands at a height of 222 m (728 ft).
