Leangen is a largely industrial neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Østbyen. It is the site of the Leangen Sports Complex (Leangen idrettsanlegg) which includes an indoor ice hockey arena Leangen Ice Hall (Leangen Ishall) and Leangen Sports Hall (Leangen idrettshall) an indoor running track and training facility. Leangen is also the location of Leangen Racecourse (Leangen Travbane), a harness racing course as well as a facility of Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Ladalen Station (Norwegian: Ladalen holdeplass) is a disused railway station on the Nordland Line located in Trondheim, Norway serving the area of Lade. The station was serviced by the local trains Trøndelag Commuter Rail operated by the Norwegian State Railways (NSB). The station opened in 1989, and was closed on 15 June 2008, when a bridge at Leangen Station allowed access to the north side of the tracks. It served what is primarily an industrial area. The station was located west of Lilleby and east of Leangen.

Queen Maud University College or QMUC (Norwegian: Dronning Mauds Minne Høgskole or DMMH) is a private college for preschool teachers located in Trondheim, Norway. The college has about 1,200 students and 140 employees. It educates 17% of all preschool teachers in Norway. The college is organised as a foundation within the Church of Norway and the school is the only college in Norway solely dedicated to the education of preschool teachers. The school is located in an old majestic building from 1912 at Leangen, though the college itself dates back to 1947.

Ringve Museum is Norway's national museum for music and musical instruments, with collections from all over the world.

Lade Arena Shopping Mall consists of 30 stores and is one of three shopping malls in Lade, Trondheim. The mall consists of three buildings and a smaller office building. Lade Arena was originally opened in November 2007 with two floors. In 2011 Lade Arena 2 was added to the existing mall. There is an underground parking structure.

Lade Airport (Norwegian: Lade flyplass, German: Lade flugplatz) was an air station and later civilian airport located at Lade in Trondheim, Norway which was in use from 1940 to 1965. It had a 1,140-meter (3,740 ft) concrete runway. The facility was built by the Luftwaffe during World War II to provide air defense for Trondheim and as a temporary airport until Værnes Air Station was completed. After the end of the war in 1945 the airport was taken over by civilian authorities. Trøndelag Flyveselskap operated from Lade from 1946 to 1950. The airline folded and was replaced by Trønderfly, which lasted for one year. Widerøe then started operating at the airport and continued to do so until its closing, although they never operated scheduled services out of the airport. Aviation clubs at the airport were Trondheim Flyklubb and NTH Flyklubb. At first Trondheim was mostly served by water aerodromes and from 1952 Trondheim Airport, Værnes became Trondheim's main airport. Braathens SAFE operated scheduled flights to Oslo from 1952 to 1956, when they moved to Værnes. Lade Airport remained in use until 1965, when it was abandoned to allow for the area to be redeveloped for industry, shopping, and a sports venue.

Ladeanlegget is an outdoor sports complex in Trondheim consisting of several football pitches. Ladeanlegget is owned by Freidig SK but is located in the neighborhood of Lade and is the home field of Sportsklubben Trygg/Lade, while Freidig SK is based in the neighborhood of Eberg.

Lilleby smelteverk was a smeltmill located in Lilleby, Trondheim, Sør-Trøndelag county, Norway, next to City Lade. It is well known for having produced the world's cleanest ferrosilicon (an alloy that contains iron and silicon) for NASA.

Leangen is a railway station on the Nordland Line located in Trondheim, Norway, serving the area of Leangen. The station is served by the local trains Trøndelag Commuter Rail operated by SJ Norge. The station dates back to the construction of the Meråker Line (as the line was called then), and opened in 1882. The present station building is from 1944. Leangen serves a mostly industrial area, but there is also some housing, a shopping mall and Queen Maud's College of Early Childhood Education and the faculty of nursing at Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Lade (Old Norse: Hlaðir) is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is in the borough of Østbyen, just northeast of the city centre of Midtbyen and north of the Lademoen neighborhood. Lade is located on a peninsula bordering the Trondheimsfjord, an important waterway dating back to the Viking Age. It is the site of the historic Lade estate (Lade gaard) and of Lade Church (Lade kirke), which dates to around 1190.

Strindheim is a neighbourhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Østbyen. It is the site of Strindheim Church, Strindheim School, the confectionery factory Nidar and the home area of Strindheim IL (Strindheim Idrettslag).

Leangen Gård is a manor house dating from the 17th century. It is located in the community of Lade, near Leangen Bay (Leangenbukta) in Trondheim, Norway.
