Strindheim

Leangen Ishall is an indoor ice hockey arena located in Leangen, Trondheim, Norway. The capacity of the arena is 3,000 and it was opened in 1977. It is the home arena of the Nidaros ice hockey team. The arena also hosted the home games of the Trondheim Black Panthers and Rosenborg ice hockey team. Located next to the arena is Leangen Kunstisbane an outdoor long track artificial speed skating oval constructed in 1979.

Østbyen is a borough of the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The borough was established on 1 January 2005 in a municipal borough reform that reduced the number of boroughs in the city. The borough of Lerkendal lies to the southwest, Midtbyen lies to the northwest, and the municipality of Malvik lies to the east. Trondheimsfjorden lies to the north. The borough consists of the areas of Møllenberg, Nedre Elvehavn, Rosenborg, Lade, Strindheim, Brundalen, Charlottenlund, Jakobsli, Ranheim and Vikåsen. It has 39,171 residents.

Ladalen Station (Norwegian: Ladalen holdeplass) is a disused railway station on the Nordland Line located in Trondheim, Norway serving the area of Lade. The station was serviced by the local trains Trøndelag Commuter Rail operated by the Norwegian State Railways (NSB). The station opened in 1989, and was closed on 15 June 2008, when a bridge at Leangen Station allowed access to the north side of the tracks. It served what is primarily an industrial area. The station was located west of Lilleby and east of Leangen.

Leangen is a railway station on the Nordland Line located in Trondheim, Norway, serving the area of Leangen. The station is served by the local trains Trøndelag Commuter Rail operated by SJ Norge. The station dates back to the construction of the Meråker Line (as the line was called then), and opened in 1882. The present station building is from 1944. Leangen serves a mostly industrial area, but there is also some housing, a shopping mall and Queen Maud's College of Early Childhood Education and the faculty of nursing at Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Leangen Travbane is a harness racing course located at Leangen in Trondheim, Norway. The race course is owned by the Norwegian Trotting Association and its parimutuel betting is handled by Norsk Rikstoto. Through this arrangement it is the only equine tote betting establishment in Trøndelag and Møre og Romsdal.

Strindheim Church (Norwegian: Strindheim kirke, historically: Bromstad kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Trondheim municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the Strindheim area in the city of Trondheim. It is the church for the Strindheim parish which is part of the Strinda prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The modern, red, brick church was built in a rectangular style in 1979 using plans drawn up by the architect Elisabeth Fidjestøl. The church seats about 240 people.

Queen Maud University College or QMUC (Norwegian: Dronning Mauds Minne Høgskole or DMMH) is a private college for preschool teachers located in Trondheim, Norway. The college has about 1,200 students and 140 employees. It educates 17% of all preschool teachers in Norway. The college is organised as a foundation within the Church of Norway and the school is the only college in Norway solely dedicated to the education of preschool teachers. The school is located in an old majestic building from 1912 at Leangen, though the college itself dates back to 1947.

Haakon VII's gate is a street in the Norwegian city of Trondheim. Running mostly through the neighborhood of Lade, it serves several large shopping centers, such as City Lade, Lade Arena and Lefdal. On the northeastern side lies the sports facility Lade Anlegget. It is named for King Haakon VII of Norway (1872–1957), who reigned Norway from 1905 to 1957. From 1940 to 1965, the area around the street was Trondheim Airport, Lade.

Valentinlyst is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Lerkendal. It is south of the neighborhood of Persaunet, north of Moholt, west of Tunga, and east of Tyholt.

Leangen is a largely industrial neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Østbyen. It is the site of the Leangen Sports Complex (Leangen idrettsanlegg) which includes an indoor ice hockey arena Leangen Ice Hall (Leangen Ishall) and Leangen Sports Hall (Leangen idrettshall) an indoor running track and training facility. Leangen is also the location of Leangen Racecourse (Leangen Travbane), a harness racing course as well as a facility of Sør-Trøndelag University College.

Strinda is a neighborhood in the city of Trondheim in Trøndelag county, Norway. The neighborhood is located in the Lerkendal borough within Trondheim Municipality. It is the site of the historic Strinda Church. The neighborhood lies to the north of Moholt, south of Valentinlyst, and southeast of Singsaker and Elgeseter.

Lade Arena Shopping Mall consists of 30 stores and is one of three shopping malls in Lade, Trondheim. The mall consists of three buildings and a smaller office building. Lade Arena was originally opened in November 2007 with two floors. In 2011 Lade Arena 2 was added to the existing mall. There is an underground parking structure.
