Arenac Township is a civil township of Arenac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 903. The city of Omer is surrounded by the township but is administered autonomously.

The Second Arenac County Courthouse, also known as Ye Olde Courthouse Masonic Hall and the Omer Masonic Hall, is a historic building located on Central Avenue in Omer, Michigan. The building is an outstanding example of a highly detailed vernacular frame building. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1976 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Omer is a city in Arenac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is Michigan's smallest city, both by area and population. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 259, which ranks it as Michigan's least populated city.While signage along the passing U.S. Route 23 mentions Omer as "Michigan's Smallest City," it was actually the state's second-smallest city in terms of population at the 2010 census after the city of Lake Angelus in Oakland County, which had a population of 290. This was until 2020, when it again regained its smallest city status with 259 residents (to 274 for Lake Angelus).

Standish Township is a civil township of Arenac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,900 at the 2010 census. The city of Standish borders the township on the northwest but is administered autonomously.

Saganing Eagles Landing Casino is a casino located just outside the city of Standish, Michigan, United States. Opened on December 31, 2007, the casino is owned by the Saginaw Chippewa Tribal Council, which also owns the Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. This is located on the tribe's Isabella Indian Reservation. The casino features over 800 slot machines and virtual games on the gaming floor. Traditional table games such as blackjack and roulette are offered through a virtual experience. The casino was renovated and expanded in 2019.

Standish is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 1,458 at the 2020 census. It is the county seat of Arenac County.

Standish is a disused railroad depot located at 107 North Main Street in Standish, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1977 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991 as the Michigan Central Railroad Standish Depot.

Lincoln Township is a civil township of Arenac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 942 at the 2010 census. The city of Standish borders the township on the northeast but is administered autonomously.

Standish Maximum Correctional Facility (SMF) was a Michigan Department of Corrections maximum security prison in Standish, Michigan. The men's prison was on the south side of M-61. It was once considered as a potential site for housing detainees to be relocated from the prison in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. The facility was in operation for 19 years, and while empty, still stands to this day.

The Pinconning River (Ojibwe Opinikaaning-ziibi (syncope as Pinkaaning-ziibi), "River at potatoing-grounds") is a small river on the central Lower Peninsula of Michigan in the United States. It is 15.6 miles (25.1 km) long and flows to Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron, draining an area of 26.6 square miles (69 km2). Via Lake Huron and the Great Lakes system, it is part of the larger watershed of the St. Lawrence River. The Pinconning River's course and watershed are entirely in northern Bay County. It begins in Mount Forest Township, approximately 9.4 miles (15.1 km) west of the city of Pinconning, and flows generally eastward, through Pinconning Township and Pinconning. It flows into Saginaw Bay in Pinconning Township, approximately 2.2 miles (3.5 km) east of Pinconning. Its largest tributary is the South Branch Pinconning River, which is 6.2 miles (10.0 km) long and flows into the Pinconning River upstream of Pinconning.The Saginaw Bay Land Conservancy owns a nature preserve, the Pinconning Nature Preserve, along the river in Pinconning Township. Bay County operates a county park, Pinconning Park, on the north bank of the river at its mouth.

The Episcopal Diocese of Eastern Michigan is the Episcopal diocese in the northern two-thirds of the eastern half of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, not including the greater Detroit area, which is in the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan. The diocese is headquartered in Saginaw, Michigan. It is a relatively new diocese, having been spun off from the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan in 1994. There are 50 separate parishes operating within the diocese.

Deep River Township is a civil township of Arenac County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,149 at the 2010 census. The village of Sterling is located within the township.
