The Church of the Flagellation is a Roman Catholic church and Christian pilgrimage site located in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, near St. Stephen's Gate (also called Lions' Gate). It is part a Franciscan monastery which also includes the Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross. The monastery stands at the traditional Second Station of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa.

The Terra Sancta Museum is a museum run by the Catholic Church Custody of the Holy Land, in the Old City of Jerusalem. First opened in 1902, then reopened in March 2016, the museum exhibits ancient artifacts, items and structures (fishing hooks, slingshot, spearheads, cisterns, seeds, hairpins, mirror, make-up spatula sets, tableware, work tools, ancient coins, coin casting molds, playing dice ceramic fragments, ossuaries stone slabs, and burial tombs) that existed at the time of Jesus.

The Antonia Fortress (Aramaic: קצטרא דאנטוניה) was a citadel built by Herod the Great and named for Herod's patron Mark Antony, as a fortress whose chief function was to protect the Second Temple. It was built in Jerusalem at the eastern end of the so-called Second Wall, at the north-western corner of the Temple Mount.

The Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross (Hebrew: קפלת ההרשעה וכפיית הצלב) is a Roman Catholic church located within the Franciscan monastery that also contains the Church of the Flagellation in the old city of Jerusalem. The monastery stands at the traditional Second Station of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa.

The Monastery of St. Nicodemus is a monastery and church of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem, dedicated to Nicodemus. It is in Jerusalem's Muslim Quarter, south of Herod's Gate and 90 metres north of the Via Dolorosa.According to an Orthodox belief, Saint Peter's prison was in its basement, where he was jailed by Herod Agrippa and then freed by an angel.

The Convent of the Sisters of Zion is a Roman Catholic convent of the Congregation of Notre-Dame de Sion, located near the eastern end of the Via Dolorosa in the Old City of Jerusalem. The convent was built in 1857 by Marie-Alphonse Ratisbonne. The site includes the Church of Ecce Homo, also known as the Basilica of Ecce Homo, named for Pontius Pilate's Ecce homo speech which is traditionally thought to have taken place on the pavement below the church.

The Inspector's Gate (or the Council Gate, see below) is one of the gates of the al-Aqsa Compound (al-Ḥaram ash-Sharīf). It is the second-northernmost gates in the compound's west wall, after the Bani Ghanim Gate. It is north of the Iron Gate.

The Dome of the Spirits (Arabic: قبة الأرواح, romanized: Ḳubbat al-Arwāḥ) is a small dome resting on an octagonal base, located on the Temple Mount, in the Old City of Jerusalem. Several theories exist concerning the name of this building; it could be associated with the proximity of the cave of the spirits or according to a legend, the souls of the dead will be gathered there for prayers.Its other name, Dome of the Tablets, comes from the Tablets of Stone, which were said to be kept in the Ark of the Covenant.It was built in the tenth century.
