The Costa de Almería (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkosta ðe almeˈɾi.a], "Coast of Almería") is a coastal region of Spain consisting of the coastal municipalities of the province of Almería, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. The region extends 217 kilometres (135 mi) and includes 13 municipalities, from Pulpí on the border with the province of Murcia to Adra on the border with the province of Granada.

Almería Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Almería) (IATA: LEI, ICAO: LEAM) is an airport located 9 km (5.6 mi) east of Almería city centre, in the province of Almería in south-eastern Spain. It is close to the main tourist centers of the province such as the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park, El Ejido, Mojácar, Roquetas de Mar or Vera.

The Taifa of Almería (Arabic: طائفة المرية, Ta'ifa al-Mariyah) was a Muslim medieval Arab kingdom located in what is now the province of Almería in Spain. The taifa originated in 1012 and lasted until 1091. In this period the city of Almería reached its historical splendour under powerful local emirs like Khayran, the first fully independent Emir of Almería and Cartagena, and Abu Yahyà Muhammad ben Ma'n. Almería declared independence of its province from Caliphate of Cordoba around 1012. It remained as an independent kingdom, although several campaigns of the Taifa of Seville diminished its territory in the north. The kingdom was important due to its strategic location, its harbour, and a developed and very important textile industry, with around five thousand looms, being also a center of silk industry, which originated a very strong commerce with other parts of Europe and which remained until the Muslims were expelled in early 17th century. The emirs of Granada, Seville and Valencia tried to conquer the little Almería kingdom many times. However, it remained independent until the arrival of the Almoravid dynasty, except for a short period of Valencian occupation. The governor sent by the Valencian King, Ma'n, thereafter declared again the independence of Almería. The kingdom finally was annexed to the Almoravid empire, as were all of the other taifas.

Estadio Municipal Juan Rojas is a rugby stadium in Almería, Spain. It was initially used as the stadium of football club AD Almería as well as UD Almería matches until it was replaced by Estadio de los Juegos Mediterráneos in 2004. The capacity of the stadium is 13,468 spectators. In 2017, the stadium was partially demolished to expand the pitch, in order to be able to host the rugby union matches of the local team UR Almería. It was finally re-inaugurated on 8 September 2018.

Gran Hotel Almería is a four-star hotel located in the Port of Almeria. It was owned first by Vita Hoteliers, then by Banco Popular and finally by Banco Santander.The urban spatial structure was designed by Fernando Cassinello, and it was the first four-star hotel in Almeria. From 2006 Antonio Fernández is the director.On 23 December 2014 it closed the first time along with Hotel Embajador to remodel the building. It was scheduled to reopen in the summer of 2015. It was opened in October 2016 to film the British TV series Crossing the Border. In July 2018 Ohtels was in charge of the hotel, and finally it was opened in September 2018.The hotel was visited by some celebrities like filmmakers Sergio Leone, Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, Sofia Loren, Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Brigitte Bardot, Raquel Welch, David Carradine, Faye Dunaway, Catherine Deneuve, Charles Bronson and Burt Lancaster; politicians SSMM Juan Carlos I of Spain and Sofia of Greece, José María Aznar, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Felipe González, Adolfo Suárez and Leopoldo Calvo-Sotelo; and musician Ringo Starr.

Cervantes Theatre, or Teatro Cervantes de Almería is a theatre named after Miguel de Cervantes in the south-east Spanish province of Almería.

Huércal de Almería is a municipality of Almería province, in the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain.

Archivo Histórico Provincial de Almería (AHPA) is one of the first historical archives established in Spain. In 1980s it was the palace of the Viscounts of Almansa. In 1935 it received the first notarial protocol from Almería, Berja, Canjáyar, Gérgal and Sorbas. It is owned by the Ministerio de Cultura.
