Tara Hall is a Georgian manor house in the village of Wellington, in Prince Edward County in Ontario, Canada. It was built by merchant and postmaster Archibald McFaul between 1837 and November, 1839. McFaul named the house "Tara Hall" after the ancient Irish legend of Tara's Banquet Hall at the Hill of Tara The Hall is a well-preserved example of Regency-era Georgian architecture in the United Empire Loyalist style. unique to the region. It is listed on the register of historic buildings of Prince Edward County and is protected under the Ontario Heritage Act of the Province of Ontario and has been described as “an outstanding achievement in its day”

CJBQ is a Canadian radio station licensed at Belleville, Ontario. It is owned by Quinte Broadcasting along with CIGL-FM and CJTN-FM. CJBQ broadcasts at 800 kHz at a power of 10 kW. The transmitter is located in Prince Edward County. The antenna is a six-tower array with differing patterns day and night, to protect Class-A clear-channel station XEROK-AM in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, as well as other Canadian and U.S. stations on the same frequency. Since the late 2000s, CJBQ is the only remaining Canadian AM radio station operating between Ottawa and the Greater Toronto Area.CJBQ's format includes country, oldies and adult contemporary. It is mostly locally programmed, with the exception of John Tesh's syndicated program that airs during evenings. CJBQ also carries live broadcasts of Belleville Senators hockey games.

Ameliasburgh is a village in the Township of Ameliasburgh in Prince Edward County, Ontario, Canada. The village of Ameliasburgh was sometimes known as "Roblin's Mills" after one of its early settlers and the mill he built; the shallow lake to the south of the village is known as Roblin Lake. One of the first townships surveyed in Ontario, Ameliasburgh Township, bordered on the north by the south shore of the Bay of Quinte, was known as "Seventh Town" in the early days of settlement. Much later, the poet Al Purdy lived in a cottage on Roblin Lake for many years. Several of Purdy's poems, most famously including "Wilderness Gothic", mention features in and around Ameliasburgh. The church whose spire "Wilderness Gothic" has been "sheathed in new metal" is now part of the Ameliasburgh Museum. The Ameliasburgh library, which has a collection of Purdy memorabilia on display, is named after Purdy, as is the road leading from the town to the Roblin millpond. The Roblin Mill has been relocated to Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto. Started in 1855, the Ameliasburgh Fall Fair is an agricultural fair held by the community every September, featuring a horse & pony show, baking and garden produce contests, livestock competition and arts & crafts. It was held regularly at the Roblin Fairground in the 1900s but eventually ceased to operate before being re-introduced, at the same location, in 1982.

Ameliasburgh is an historic township in southern Ontario, Canada, one of the three original townships that formed Prince Edward County. The other two townships were Marysburgh and Sophiasburgh. Originally known as Seventh Town, it was renamed in 1787 after Princess Amelia, the youngest child of George III. The township was amalgamated into the Corporation of the County of Prince Edward, a single tier municipality, on January 1, 1998. The community of Ameliasburg, Ontario was named after the township.

Hillier is a community located in Prince Edward County, Ontario. Established in 1823, it was named after Major George Hillier (d. 1840), British Army officer and military secretary to Sir Peregrine Maitland from 1818 to 1828. It is located on the Loyalist Parkway or Highway 33 and is roughly 30 minutes from Belleville, Ontario. Hillier's population is roughly 100 people. The town hall, which is at the centre of the hamlet, was once a school and has been marked as a national historical site. Hillier is ward 7 of the 10 wards in Prince Edward County. The ward consists of several communities including Consecon, Melville, Rosehall and Hillier. Hillier is well known in its area for its many wineries, as well as its Hillier in the Park Day, which takes place in August and regularly draws in hundreds of families from the Prince Edward County area. Prince Edward County is a city, single-tier municipality and a census division of the Canadian province of Ontario.

Canadian Forces Detachment Mountain View, also CFD Mountain View, is a Canadian Forces airfield (Trenton/Mountain View Airport) located in Prince Edward County, Ontario, south of Belleville. It is geographically close to CFB Trenton, which has administrative responsibility for the facilities.

Trenton/Mountain View Airport (TC LID: CPZ3) is located 5.2 nautical miles (9.6 km; 6.0 mi) southeast of Mountain View, Ontario, Canada. The airport serves as a Royal Canadian Air Cadets flying centre from May until October and as a flight training centre from June until the end of August each summer. Stored at Canadian Forces Detachment Mountain View, a geographically separated detachment of CFB Trenton located at the airport, are retired Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft. A dismantled de Havilland Canada CC-115 Buffalo is located here. A new gravel runway (06L/24R) was constructed in 2006 to train RCAF Lockheed CC-130 Hercules aircraft crews in landing on unprepared landing strips.

Mountain View is a small community located in Prince Edward County, Ontario located south of Belleville. Mountain View is the location of a former British Commonwealth Air Training Plan air station which is now known as Canadian Forces Detachment Mountain View (CFD Mountain View), a detachment of CFB Trenton.

Bay of Quinte is a provincial electoral district in Ontario, Canada, centered on the Bay of Quinte. It elects one member to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario. This riding was created in 2015.

Bay of Quinte (French: Baie de Quinte) is a federal electoral district in central Ontario, Canada, centred on the Bay of Quinte. Bay of Quinte was created by the 2012 federal electoral boundaries redistribution and was legally defined in the 2013 representation order. It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election, scheduled for 19 October 2015. It was created out of parts of the electoral districts of Prince Edward—Hastings (62%) and Northumberland—Quinte West (38%).

Nicholson Island is a small island in Lake Ontario about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) west of Prince Edward County, Ontario. It is one of the islands and shoals in the Scotch Bonnet Ridge. In 1834 Nicholson Island was under consideration as the site of a lighthouse. In 1844 nearby Scotch Bonnet Island was chosen as the site of a lighthouse. Small, low Scotch Bonnet Island's lighthouse was not fit for human occupancy during the winter, so a lighthouse keeper's house was built on Nicholson Island in 1866.The island is currently private property, and is used as a private game reserve.
