Edsviken is an elongated, narrow inlet of the Baltic Sea running through the Swedish municipalities of Danderyd, Solna and Sollentuna in Stockholm County. Edsviken ranges from Stocksund and Bergshamra, Solna in the south to Edsberg in the north. The inlet is about 7.7 km (4.8 mi) long with an area of approximately 3.6 km2 (1.4 sq mi); its maximum depth is around 20 m (65 ft 7 in). Edsviken joins the Stocksundet at Bergshamra and eventually flows into the Lilla Värtan. Edsviken is a popular waterway, it is used by anglers, boat owners and bathers in the summer and ice skaters in the winter. With its brackish water, the Edsviken offers a unique environment for its flora and fauna. Various coastal and wetland plants grow around the Edsviken, including water forget-me-not—a rare plant in Sweden—Bolboschoenus maritimus and seaweed. The Eurasian oystercatcher and the barnacle goose both nest on the Edsviken, which also has a wide variety of fish species, including: perch, bream, pike, ruffe, zander and the occasional herring. The Edsviken's waterside is only partially developed. Waterfront buildings include the Danderyds sjukhus, Ulriksdal Palace, the Sollentuna hill fort, Edsbergs Castle, Kevinge gård and Stockholm golf club. The southwestern portion forms part of the Royal National City Park.

The runic text directly refers to an estate held in an allodial title.

Edsberg () is an urban district in Sollentuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. It is located at the bottom of the Edsviken Bay, which forms a long inlet all the way from the Baltic Sea. It forms part of Stockholm. In daily use Edsberg means the area with multifamily houses spread around Edsbergs centrum and Edsbergskyrkan north of Danderydsvägen. The municipality part called Edsberg also contains Landsnora, an area of villas to the south of Danderydsvägen and the east of Edsbergsparken. A bit further on to the south of Danderydsvägen is the new area called Kvarnskogen with a mixed set of house types. Also contained in Edsberg is Edsängen between Edsberg and Frestavägen, and the summer house areas a bit further north called Södersättra and Norrsättra. Plans to develop the area to the east of Frestavägen are in the making.

Roslagsleden (Roslags Trail) is a 190 km long hiking trail in Stockholm County, Sweden.Roslagsleden is part of the European route E6 which goes from Kilpisjärvi in the north to Greece in the south. The trail is split up in 11 sections that range from 9 to 22 km each. There are several campsites and lodging is available throughout the trail. Roslagsleden starts in Danderyd and finishes in Grisslehamn, and also passes through the town of Norrtälje. Trees by the trail are marked with an orange color.

Ella Park is a neighbourhood in the central part of Täby Municipality, north of Stockholm.It is dominated by single-family houses built mainly during the period between 1960 and 1970.

Edsviks konsthall (Edsvik Art Gallery) was a Swedish art gallery situated at Edsberg, an 18th-century estate at Edsviken in the north of Stockholm, Sweden. The gallery focused on Swedish and international contemporary art. Some 15–20 exhibitions of Swedish and international artists were held at the gallery each year. Edsviks konsthall was the second largest art gallery in Sweden. The art gallery consisted of two main buildings; gallery east and gallery west. The director, Ricardo Donoso, was hired by Sollentuna Municipality in 2004.

Norrortsleden is a road in Stockholm County, Sweden, providing connection from the European route E4 in the municipality of Sollentuna to European route E18 in the municipality of Österåker. The road is a motorway between Sollentuna and Täby kyrkby, and a 2+1 road the rest of the way to the E18. The road was opened on 4 October 2008.

Enebyberg is a suburban area in Stockholm, Sweden and a part of Danderyd Municipality, Stockholm County. It was founded in the beginning of the 1900s and became a municipal community in 1914. Enebyberg later merged with Danderyd, Stocksund, and Djursholm to form Danderyd Municipality. Its location is very close to Täby Municipality,, therefore forming a part of its urban area. Swedish writer Jonas Gardell is from Enebyberg.

Edsbergs slott (Edsberg Manor) is a manor house and estate located by the bay of Edsviken in Sollentuna Municipality, north of Stockholm, Sweden.

Ulriksdal Palace (Swedish: Ulriksdals slott) is a royal palace situated on the banks of the Edsviken in the Royal National City Park in Solna Municipality, 6 km north of Stockholm. It was originally called Jakobsdal for its owner Jacob De la Gardie, who had it built by architect Hans Jacob Kristler in 1643–1645 as a country retreat. He later passed on to his son, Magnus Gabriel De la Gardie, from whom it was purchased in 1669 by Queen Hedvig Eleonora of Sweden. The present design is mainly the work of architect Nicodemus Tessin the Elder and dates from the late 17th century.

Morianbron (Swedish: Blackamoor Bridge) is a small bridge in the gardens of the Ulriksdal Palace in Solna, Sweden, named after the pair of sculptures of so-called blackamoors (e.g. black Moors) standing by the bridge. Arguably the smallest bridge in the Swedish capital, it also passes over the indeed small stream Igelbäcken flowing through the gardens. The low wooden bridge is on either side flanked by two bronze sculptures painted in black of two black men dressed in loinclothes pulling a fishing net passing under the bridge. The two sculptures, moulded in the early 19th century by the sculptor Per Lundgren, were brought to the Ulriksdal Palace from the royal gardens at Hagaparken. There, they were standing by the network of canals that once flew through the park.According to an amusing story, a lady standing on the bridge fell in love with the two men and, not being able to choose between them, threw herself into the stream to end her pang of love. The anecdote not only suits the romantic and picturesque environment, it also reflects the fancy for exotic people prevalent during the 18th and early 19th century, typically represented by artists such as Eugène Delacroix.
