Miramare di Rimini, more commonly known simply as Miramare, is the southernmost suburb and frazione of the city of Rimini, Italy. Situated on the Adriatic coast, the suburb lies 5 km (3.1 mi) southeast of Rimini's city centre and borders the municipality of Riccione.Miramare is located on the Roman Via Flaminia, now the SS16 state road. The settlement expanded during the 20th century development of Rimini's touristic economy. The Bologna–Ancona railway splits the suburb into a western residential half and an eastern touristic half, characterised by hotels, bars, and clubs. Miramare contains Federico Fellini International Airport, which was formerly known as Rimini Miramare Airport, and is also served by a railway station.

The Marano is a river in San Marino and Emilia-Romagna in Italy. The source of the river is southeast of Domagnano in San Marino. The river flows east and it forms part of the eastern border between the province of Rimini in Italy and San Marino. The river joins with the Fiumicello close to the easternmost point of San Marino. The river flows northeast past Ospedaletto and into the Adriatic Sea northwest of Riccione and southeast of Miramare. The Marano's tributaries include the Cando.

2007 World Masters Athletics Championships is the seventeenth in a series of World Masters Athletics Outdoor Championships that took place in Riccione, Italy from 4 to 15 September 2007. The main venue was Stadio Italo Nicoletti. Supplemental venues included Stadio Comunale Santamonica in Misano Adriatico and Stadio Comunale San Giovanni in San Giovanni in Marignano. This Championships was organized by World Masters Athletics (WMA) in coordination with a Local Organising Committee (LOC): Lamberto Vacchi, Luca Verrascina and Francesco Arese. The WMA is the global governing body of the sport of athletics for athletes 35 years of age or older, setting rules for masters athletics competition. In addition to a full range of track and field events, non-stadia events included 8K Cross Country, 10K Race Walk (women), 20K Race Walk (men), and Marathon.

Riccione (Italian pronunciation: [ritˈtʃoːne]; Romagnol: Arciôn [arˈtsoːŋ]) is a comune in the Province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna, northern Italy. As of 2018, Riccione had an estimated population of 35,003.

Stadio Romeo Neri is a multi-use stadium in Rimini, Italy. The stadium has a capacity of 9,768 and is largely used for football as the home of A.C. Rimini 1912. The stadium itself was named after Italian gymnast Romeo Neri, the first citizen of Rimini to participate in the Olympic Games - in both Amsterdam (1928) and Los Angeles (1932).

The Old Church of San Martino in Arcione (Italian: Chiesa vecchia di San Martino in Arcione), known more simply as San Martino, is a Roman Catholic church in Riccione, in the Province of Rimini, Emilia-Romagna. First recorded in January 1177 as S. Martini in Arzonis, the first, medieval church was located in the area of the present-day Fontanelle, south of Riccione. After the church was destroyed by an earthquake on Christmas Day 1786, San Martino was rebuilt at its present location on Corso Fratelli Cervi; the church was consecrated on 8 November 1789. It includes the shrine of Blessed Alessio Monaldi, who has been venerated in Riccione since 1578.To accommodate Riccione's growing population, a New Church of San Martino (Italian: Chiesa nuova di San Martino) was consecrated on 10 March 1963. Located on Viale Diaz, which runs between the old town and the railway station, the larger, modern church is less than 280 metres (310 yards) away from the old church as the crow flies.Both churches are dedicated to St Martin of Tours. Together with the churches of San Francesco (in Fontanelle, consecrated 1982) and Santa Caterina (in Raibano, consecrated 1988), they constitute Riccione's parish of San Martino.

The province of Rimini (Italian: provincia di Rimini) is a province in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. The provincial capital is the eponymous city of Rimini. The province borders the independent Republic of San Marino. As of 2019, the province has a population of 339,437 inhabitants over an area of 921.77 square kilometres (355.90 sq mi), giving it a population density of 357 inhabitants per square kilometre. The built-up urban area of Rimini had a population of 147,578 inhabitants within city limits. There are 26 comuni (singular: comune) in the province.

The Rimini trolleybus system (Italian: Rete filoviaria di Rimini) forms part of the public transport network of the Province of Rimini, in the region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy. The network consists of two trolleybus routes that connect the city centres of the coastal comuni of Rimini and Riccione. In operation since 1939 (with subsequent termini modifications), route 11 runs along the principal seafront avenue from Rimini's railway station to Riccione Terme. In November 2019, the Metromare was launched as a bus rapid transit line running entirely on segregated tracks adjacent to the Bologna–Ancona railway between the railway stations of Rimini and Riccione. Metromare was temporarily served by buses until the arrival of its trolleybuses in October 2021. Both routes are operated by Start Romagna SpA.

San Bartolomeo, also known as the Santi Bartolomeo e Marino or Santa Rita, is a Baroque-style Roman Catholic church located in Rimini, region of Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

The Arch of Augustus is a gate in the former city wall of Rimini, Italy, in the form of a Roman honorary or triumphal arch. The arch was dedicated to the Emperor Augustus by the Roman Senate in 27 BC and is claimed to be the oldest large Roman arch still surviving. It marked the end of the via Flaminia, which connected the cities of Romagna to Rome, and spans the modern Corso d'Augusto (the ancient decumanus maximus), which led to the beginning of another road, the via Emilia, which ran northwest to Piacenza.

The Tempio Malatestiano (Italian: Malatesta Temple) is the unfinished cathedral church of Rimini, Italy. Officially named for St. Francis, it takes the popular name from Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, who commissioned its reconstruction by the famous Renaissance theorist and architect Leon Battista Alberti around 1450.

The Tempietto di Sant'Antonio is a small, octagonal temple or chapel dedicated to St Anthony of Padua, located in Piazza Tre Martiri of the city of Rimini, region of Emilia Romagna, Italy. A structure was initially built here in 1518, commissioned by Pietro Ricciardelli. The chapel was rebuilt in the Baroque-style after the earthquake of 1672. Legend has the structure was constructed to honor a Eucharistic miracle at the site. The legend, known also as the Miracle of the Mule, holds that, during the 13th century, St Anthony of Padua, after an impassioned public sermon, was distributing the blessed eucharist to faithful gathered in the piazza, when one citizen ignored him while walking along with his mule. The mule however miraculously and stubbornly sat itself prostrate in front of the saint.Other stories recall the sermon had been against a Patarine heresiarch Bonvillo, who denied the nature of the Eucharist, and that the altar in the tempietto served to support the Saint while he delivered his Sermon. The church is adjacent to the church of San Francesco di Paola and is echoed by the larger Sanctuary of Sant'Antonio behind the Tempietto. St Anthony is also claimed to have performed a miracle in Rimini by preaching to fishes and having them congregate.
