Ruffré-Mendola (Rufré-Méndola in local dialect) is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of Trento. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 444 and an area of 6.6 square kilometres (2.5 sq mi).It borders the following municipalities: Sarnonico, Caldaro and Cavareno.

Amblar (German: Ambler) is a former comune in Trentino in north Italy. On 1 January 2016 it was merged with the neighboring comune of Don to form the new comune of Amblar-Don, of which it is now a frazione.

Tramin an der Weinstraße (German pronunciation: [traˈmiːn an deːɐ̯ ˈvaɪnˌʃtraːsə]; Italian: Termeno sulla Strada del Vino [terˈmɛːno sulla ˈstraːda del ˈviːno]), often abbreviated to Tramin or Termeno, is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol, northern Italy, located about 20 kilometres (12 miles) southwest of the city of Bolzano. The Mendel Pass (German: Mendelpass or Mendel, Italian: Passo della Mendola, Passo Mendola or Mendola [ˈmendola]) is a 1,362 metre-high mountain pass between the provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol in Italy. The pass is accessed by the pass road, which begins in the town of Fondo in the Non Valley and ends southwest of the city of Bolzano, and the Mendel Funicular, which connects the Überetsch plateau with the pass. The pass road, SS 42, has a maximum grade of 12%, but is relatively straight. It is open year-round, but trailers are prohibited. The pass road was built between 1880 and 1885, and the first hotel at the pass was built in 1890. In 1900, a tram was built from the town of Kaltern. The instability of the cliffs overhanging the road is a cause of concern, and work was undertaken in 2005 to stabilize them. The pass is under constant observation, particularly in the spring, when thawing and refreezing causes danger of slides.

The Mendel Funicular, (German: Mendelbahn, Italian: Funicolare della Mendola [funikoˈlaːre della ˈmendola]) is a funicular railway in Italy. It connects the Überetsch plateau with the Mendel Pass.

Amblar-Don is a comune of the Val di Non in the Trentino, northern Italy. It came into existence on 1 January 2016 through the merger of the formerly separate comuni of Amblar and Don.

Sarnonico borders the following municipalities: Brez, Cavareno, Dambel, Fondo, Malosco, Romeno, Ronzone, Ruffré-Mendola, Eppan and Kaltern.

Lake Kaltern (Italian: Lago di Caldaro; German: Kalterer See) is a lake in the municipality of Kaltern in South Tyrol, Italy.

Kaltern Friary is a Franciscan friary in Kaltern (sometimes called Kaltern an der Weinstraße), South Tyrol, Italy. It is located in the centre of the little town and dates back to the 17th century.

Sfruz is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, with some 230 inhabitants in 2009 and an area of 11.7 square kilometres (4.5 sq mi).It is a traditional Alpine village, one of the highest in the Val di Non valley, and is located on a lush plateau between Monte Roen and the Corno di Tres. Its ancient origins have been proved by archaeological findings, which have brought to light a number of traditional roof-tiled Roman graves. Sfruz has kept its original layout, with its rural homes and noble buildings featuring stone portals, halls and timber superstructures as well as a few frescoes. The church stands opposite via Predaia and shows a number of interesting architectural features in the local tradition, including a portal from 1704 with a crest and an unusual lancet arch. An alto-rilievo (high-relief) of S. Barbara - patron saint of miners - is located at the top of the road, after the playground. Sfruz's parish church is dedicated to S. Agatha. The Sfruz potato is well renowned. Furthermore, the town is also a bastion for a number of important traditional craftsman jobs, such as goldsmiths and wood carvers. Its large pottery stoves are both characteristic and highly original. They have been manufactured since the Renaissance when they were sold - under the guide of "master stove-makers" - in Austria, Tyrol and Lombardy. The 12 Percorsi d'Anaunia pass through Sfruz. Featuring signposted hiking trails based on an ancient road leading from Rocchetta to Castel Thun, the 12 Percorsi give travellers the chance to explore the conifer and beech woods between Sfruz and Smarano. The municipality of Sfruz contains the frazione (subdivision) Credai. Sfruz borders the following municipalities: Amblar, Don, Coredo, Tramin an der Weinstraße, Smarano and Tres.
