Pedder Street is a major thoroughfare in the core of Hong Kong's Central District. It runs south–north from Queen's Road Central, continues through Des Voeux Road Central, and ends at its intersection with Connaught Road Central.

Chater House (Chinese: 遮打大廈; Jyutping: ze1 daa2 daai6 haa6) is an office tower in Central, Hong Kong. Opened in March 2003, it is a part of the Hongkong Land portfolio of properties. It has a three-level retail podium, known as Landmark Chater. The building was built on the site of the former Swire House, and was named after Sir Paul Chater. The building faces streets on three sides: Chater Road, Pedder Street and Connaught Road Central.

World-Wide House is an office building in Central, Hong Kong. It is located between Connaught Road Central, Pedder Street and Des Voeux Road Central.

Central (also Central District) is the central business district of Hong Kong. It is located in Central and Western District, on the north shore of Hong Kong Island, across Victoria Harbour from Tsim Sha Tsui, the southernmost point of Kowloon Peninsula. The area was the heart of Victoria City, although that name is rarely used today. As the central business district of Hong Kong, it is the area where many multinational financial services corporations have their headquarters. Consulates general and consulates of many countries are also located in this area, as is Government Hill, the site of the government headquarters. The area, with its proximity to Victoria Harbour, has served as the centre of trade and financial activities from the earliest days of the British colonial era in 1841, and continues to flourish and serve as the place of administration after the handover to China in 1997.

The Hong Kong Central Harbourfront Circuit is a 1.860 km (1.156 mi) street circuit on Central Harbourfront of Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, facing the Victoria Harbour. It is used for the Hong Kong ePrix of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship. Its first use was on 9 October 2016, as the opening ePrix of the 2016–17 Formula E season and it is ended in 2019.

Jardine House (Chinese: 怡和大廈), formerly known as Connaught Centre (康樂大廈), is an office tower in Hong Kong. The building is located at 1 Connaught Place, Central on Hong Kong Island. It is owned by Hongkong Land Limited, a subsidiary of Jardines. At the time of its completion in 1972, Jardine House was the tallest building in Hong Kong and in Asia. In 1980, the Hopewell Centre usurped the title of the tallest building in Hong Kong. The building is interconnected by the Central Elevated Walkway with buildings of Hongkong Land Limited like Exchange Square and the International Finance Centre. There is also another Jardine House in Hamilton, Bermuda, which serves as the registered office for Jardines' Bermuda-domiciled businesses (most of Jardines' businesses including Jardine Matheson Holdings and Hongkong Land are incorporated and domiciled in Bermuda).

Central (Chinese: 中環; Cantonese Yale: Jūngwàan) is an MTR station located in the Central area of Hong Kong Island. The station's livery is firebrick red but brown on the Tsuen Wan line platforms. The station is the southern terminus of the Tsuen Wan line, a stop on the Island line, and connects to Hong Kong station, which serves the Tung Chung line and the Airport Express. The station was originally named Chater station. It was initially conceived to cater for 330,000 passengers daily and was planned to be 380 metres (1,250 ft) long – one of the longest stations in the world. More than 200,000 passengers use this station daily. The longest distance between two exits is approximately 700m.

Alexandra House (Chinese: 歷山大廈) is an office building in Central, Hong Kong near Central station. The building has 37 levels. It hosts a shopping arcade, Landmark Alexandra, and it is connected to the Central Elevated Walkway. The block formed by Alexandra house is surrounded by Ice House Street, Des Voeux Road Central and Chater Road.

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is a five-star hotel on Connaught Road Central in Central, Hong Kong, owned and managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. Originally called The Mandarin, the hotel was built in 1963 on the former site of the colonial Queen's Building on the waterfront in Central Hong Kong. The cost of construction was HK$42 million, and HK$66 million was spent on interior decoration. Leigh & Orange architectural firm designed the building while the interior was designed by Don Ashton. The Mandarin opened in 1963, and at 26 storeys, it was the tallest building in Hong Kong. It was the first hotel in Hong Kong to have direct dial phones and the first in Asia to include a bath in every guestroom. The Mandarin was originally adjacent to Victoria Harbour, but as a result of extensive land reclamation in the waterfront area, the harbour is now several blocks away. In 2003, the hotel was the site of the suicide of actor and singer Leslie Cheung, who jumped from the 26th storey of the building. The hotel contains 501 guestrooms, 67 of which are suites, overlooking Victoria Harbour. There are ten restaurants and bars, including the Michelin-starred Pierre, Chef Pierre Gagnaire's first restaurant in Hong Kong. An event space can accommodate up to 600 people.In 2005 the hotel underwent a US$150 million renovation.

Wheelock House (Chinese: 會德豐大廈) is a commercial office building located on Pedder Street in Central, Hong Kong. Wheelock House is a Class A office space completed in 1984 and has 24 storeys. One of its architects was Wong & Ouyang (HK) Ltd while the real estate developer was Cheung Kong Holdings.

Connaught Place (Chinese: 康樂廣場) is a square (and adjacent roadway) near Jardine House in Central, Hong Kong. The General Post Office and Exchange Square have Connaught Place addresses. Opened in December 1977, the square is home to a statue by Henry Moore entitled Double Oval. The square and the surrounding buildings are all built in a 20th-century modern architectural style.

8+1⁄2 Otto e Mezzo Bombana is an Italian restaurant at Shop 202, Alexandra House, Central, Hong Kong. It is the only Italian restaurant outside of Italy to have received 3 stars from the Michelin Guide, having been awarded 3 stars by the 2012 Michelin Guide Hong Kong and Macau. Its head chef is Umberto Bombana.
