Camp Farwell

Newbury is a town in Orange County, Vermont, United States. The population was 2,293 at the 2020 census. Newbury includes the villages of Newbury, Center Newbury, West Newbury, South Newbury, Boltonville, Peach Four Corners, and Wells River.

The Newbury Town House is a historic government building on Scotch Hollow Road in Newbury, Vermont. Built in 1839, it is a well-preserved and little-altered example of an early Greek Revival town hall. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. While no longer used for town meetings, it is still owned by the town and used for other civic purposes, included elections.

Also known locally as The Castle, it is a distinctive example of Shingle style architecture, designed as a country house by William M. Butterfield and completed in 1895. It includes five residences and several outbuildings, most of which are agricultural in character, representing the area's shift in use in the 20th century. The Bedell Bridge was a Burr truss covered bridge that spanned the Connecticut River between Newbury, Vermont and Haverhill, New Hampshire. Until its most recent destruction in 1979, it was, with a total length of 382 feet (116 m), the second-longest covered bridge in the United States. The bridge was divided into two spans of roughly equal length, and rested on a central pier and shore abutments constructed from mortared rough stone. The eastern abutment has been shored up by the addition of a concrete footing. The bridge was 23 feet (7.0 m) wide, with a roadway width of 18.5 feet (5.6 m). Because the state line is the western low-water mark of the Connecticut River, most of the bridge was in New Hampshire; only the western abutment is in Vermont.The site is now part of the 74-acre (30 ha) Bedell Bridge State Park in Haverhill, New Hampshire.

Bedell Bridge State Park, also known as Bedell Bridge State Historic Site, is a 74-acre (30 ha) state park located in Haverhill, New Hampshire, on the Connecticut River. It is open year-round and offers walking, picnicking, non-motorized boating, and fishing. A Fish and Game boat launch is located within the park.
