Schoenhof's Foreign Books was a specialty bookstore in Cambridge, Massachusetts, near Harvard Square. Founded in 1856, Schoenhof's claims to be the oldest foreign language book dealer in the United States and to offer the largest selection of foreign language books in North America. The bookstore is itself the fourth oldest in the country. Its retail storefront closed on March 25, 2017. It continues to do business through its web site. Schoenhof's is now owned by MEP, Inc., an importer and wholesaler of foreign language books. MEP bought Schoenhof's from Éditions Gallimard in 2005 but did not rename its existing Europa Books retail store in Chicago as Schoenhof's despite initial plans to do so.Their selection is divided into language learning materials, literature and non-fiction books, and children's books. Over 700 different languages and dialects are represented in the learning section. Literature and non-fiction includes French, Spanish, German, Russian, Italian, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Latin, and biblical studies. The children's section offers works in major Romance, Germanic, Slavic, and Celtic languages.

The Malkin Athletic Center (MAC) is a 1,000-seat multi-purpose arena and athletic facility at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.Originally known as the Indoor Athletic Building (IAB), it is now named after Peter L. Malkin, who helped fund the refurbishment of the building in 1985. It currently houses the Harvard Fencing Team, Harvard Crimson men's volleyball, Harvard Crimson women's volleyball, and Harvard Crimson wrestling teams. Each year, the Harvard Invitational Shoryuhai Intercollegiate Kendo Tournament, or Shoryuhai (昇龍杯 Shōryuhai) is held at the Malkin Athletic Center. It also originally housed the Harvard Crimson men's basketball until they moved to the Lavietes Pavilion in 1982. Part of the center was built on the site of the apartment Theodore Roosevelt lived in as a Harvard student.

Manter Hall School was a private prep school located in Cambridge, Massachusetts that existed between 1884 and 1996. Founded in 1884 by William W. Nolen (Harvard, Class of 1884) as Nolen's Tutoring School, the original mission of the school was to tutor Harvard undergraduates to prepare them for mid-term and final examinations. The curriculum expanded in the 1930s to include preparing students for Harvard's entrance exam. Manter Hall eventually evolved into an unorthodox prep school that prepared students who were unable to fit into traditional high schools and prep schools. Manter Hall's most famous alumni were Joseph P. Kennedy II (Class of 1971), a former Congressman, and Tenley Albright ('58), the first American female skater to win an Olympic gold medal.

Lowell House is one of twelve undergraduate residential Houses at Harvard University, located at 10 Holyoke Place facing Mount Auburn Street between Harvard Yard and the Charles River. Officially, it is named for the Lowell family, but an ornate ALL woven into the ironwork above the main gate discreetly alludes to Abbott Lawrence Lowell, Harvard's president at the time of construction. Its majestic neo-Georgian design, centered on two landscaped courtyards, received the 1938 Harleston Parker Medal and might be considered the model for later Harvard houses nearby. Lowell House is simultaneously close to the Yard, Harvard Square, and other Harvard "River" houses, and its blue-capped bell tower, visible for many miles, is a local landmark.

The Hasty Pudding Club is a social club for Harvard students, and one of three sub-organizations within the Hasty Pudding Institute of 1770. The club was formed in 1795 "to cherish the feelings of friendship and patriotism." The club's motto, Concordia Discors (discordant harmony), derives from the epistles of the Latin poet Horace.

The Paris-Saclay Faculty of Sciences or Orsay Faculty of Sciences, in French : Faculté des sciences d'Orsay, is the mathematics and physics school within Paris-Saclay University, founded in 1956. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in mathematics, physics and chemistry (though its undergraduates are officially enrolled in Paris-Saclay Undergraduate School). Previously the Paris-Sud Faculty of Sciences, the School assumed its current structure in 2019. Christine Paulin-Mohring has been the School's dean since 2016.Recent investments as part of the Paris-Saclay cluster have enlarged the School's faculty and upgraded its facilities. In July 2020, Paris-Saclay was ranked first worldwide for Mathematics by Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) and 9th worldwide for Physics (1st in Europe). The Faculty has produced numerous research discoveries and many distinguished alumni and professors.

The Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) is the engineering school within Harvard University's Faculty of Arts and Sciences, offering degrees in engineering and applied sciences to graduate students admitted directly to SEAS, and to undergraduates admitted first to Harvard College. Previously the Lawrence Scientific School and then the Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the Paulson School assumed its current structure in 2007. Francis J. Doyle III has been its dean since 2015.SEAS is housed in Harvard's Science and Engineering Complex (SEC) in the Allston neighborhood of Boston, directly across the Charles River from Harvard's main campus in Cambridge and adjacent to the Harvard Business School and Harvard Innovation Labs.In 2019, Harvard was ranked third worldwide for Engineering and Technology by Times Higher Education.

The Hasty Pudding Theatricals, known informally simply as The Pudding, is a theatrical student society at Harvard University, known for its burlesque crossdressing musicals. The Hasty Pudding is the oldest theatrical organization in the United States and the third oldest in the world, behind only the Comédie-Française and the Oberammergau Passion Play. The Hasty Pudding Theatricals was described by John Wheelwright in 1897 as a "kindly association of men of all ages in a gay evening of simple enjoyment." It is a comedy show.

John Winthrop House (commonly Winthrop House) is one of twelve undergraduate residential Houses at Harvard University. It is home to approximately 400 upperclass undergraduates. Winthrop house consists of two buildings, Standish Hall and Gore Hall, originally freshman dormitories built in 1912. In 1931 they were joined as John Winthrop House, one of the seven original Harvard houses in which students reside from sophomore through senior years. Historically, Winthrop was also one of the first Harvard houses open to Catholic and Jewish students. Winthrop House maintains an affiliation with Davenport College at Yale University. The house's name honors two notable men who shared the name "John Winthrop"—the first governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, as well as his descendant, an 18th-century astronomer who was both a Harvard professor and president of the university. The house shield is from the Winthrop family coat of arms: a lion with three chevrons in the background. In heraldric language, the blazon of the house shield is "Argent three chevrons Gules overall a lion rampant Sable." The current faculty deans of Winthrop House are Stephen Chong and Kiran Gajwani, who were appointed to replace interim deans Mark Gearan and Mary Herlihy-Gearan. Gearan and Herlihy-Gearan took over for a one-year term following the College's decision to let go of former deans Ronald S. Sullivan Jr. and Stephanie Robinson in 2019.

The Globe Corner Bookstore was one of the largest travel book and map retailers in North America. It was located at 90 Mount Auburn Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, near Harvard Square. The store provided a full range of travel and outdoor recreation reference materials for a destination: guidebooks, maps, atlases, recreation guides, travel literature, nature guides, photography books, cookbooks, and language products. The company's original store, founded by Patrick Carrier, opened in 1982 in the historic Old Corner Bookstore building in downtown Boston, a continuation of the Old Corner Bookstore rebranded to focus on travel products. Reflecting the shifting dynamics of Boston's retail districts, the company opened its Harvard Square store in 1988 and a location in Boston's Back Bay in 1993. The store launched its web site in the winter of 1995, the first comprehensive travel book site on the web. In 2007, it had over 40,000 pages. The Globe Corner Bookstore's Adventure Travel Lecture Series hosted Jan Morris, Bradford Washburn, William Dalrymple, Bruce Chatwin, Eric Newby, Paul Theroux, Roger Tory Peterson, Rory Stewart, and David Allen Sibley, and others. A combination of high rents and the declining fortunes of downtown Boston retail prompted the company to close the downtown branch in March 1997. The company sold its lease at 500 Boylston Street in the Back Bay to Boston Private Bank in December 2000. In 2010, the store's owner put the remaining Cambridge store up for sale, citing personal health concerns—a diagnosis of a seizure disorder. After entertaining several bids, none were found to satisfactorily ensure continued operations of the store and its closing was announced.The Globe Corner Bookstores served its last bricks-and-mortar customer on July 4, 2011, having served over 2 million customers. The website and name were purchased by Brookline Booksmith of Brookline, Massachusetts in May 2012.

The Second Cambridge Savings Bank Building is an historic bank building at 11–21 Dunster Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The Italian Renaissance masonry building was built in 1897 by the Cambridge Savings Bank. It is a four-story building, with a frieze of fleur-de-lis patterning separating the first floor from the upper floors, and a metal cornice below the roof. The building corners are quoined on the upper levels, and there are a pair of matching entrances. It is one of the finest examples of pre–World War I architecture in Harvard Square.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and included in an expansion of the Harvard Square Historic District in 1988.

The Delphic Club is an all-male social group at Harvard University founded in 1846. It began the process of merging with the all-female Bee Club in August 2017, and the Delphic & Bee became one of fifteen Harvard-recognized social organizations in September 2018. Subsequently, the two clubs reached an agreement to separate in September 2020.
