Keiser University

Miami Regional University (MRU) is a private college in Miami Springs, Florida. MRU is accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). The college is approved to offer and administer financial aid through the USDOE. The college offers Associate, Bachelor, and master's degrees in Nursing, along with English as a Second Language to foreign language professionals.

The Keiser Seahawks are the athletic teams for Keiser University in West Palm Beach, Florida. The university is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), primarily competing in The Sun Conference, formerly known as the Florida Sun Conference (FSC). The university's football team competes in the Mid-South Conference.

Twin Lakes was a census-designated place (CDP) in Broward County, Florida, United States, which was divided into Twin Lakes North and Twin Lakes South. The population was 1,875 at the 2000 census. On November 2, 2004, residents of the Twin Lakes North voted to join the City of Fort Lauderdale. The annexation became effective on September 15, 2005, and it now serves as a Fort Lauderdale neighborhood. Twin Lakes South became a neighborhood of Oakland Park, Florida in 2005.

City College is a private college in Hollywood, Florida. It was founded in 1984 as a branch of Draughons Junior College before becoming separate in 1989. In addition to its main campus, City College has additional locations in Gainesville, Hollywood, Miami, and Orlando. The college offers ten associate degrees and three bachelor's degrees and is accredited by the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools.

DRV PNK Stadium (pronounced as Drive Pink Stadium, formerly Inter Miami CF Stadium) is a soccer-specific stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Built on the site of the former Lockhart Stadium, the 18,000-seat stadium is the home pitch of Inter Miami CF of Major League Soccer and its MLS Next Pro reserve side Inter Miami CF II. DRV PNK Stadium opened in 2020 as an interim venue for Inter Miami CF until the completion of the proposed Freedom Park stadium. The stadium is the primary headquarters for the team and its youth academy, in addition to further training grounds.

Lockhart Stadium was a stadium used mostly for soccer in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It was used in a variety of sports, particularly soccer and American football. Originally designed in 1959 for high school sports, the stadium's long-standing soccer connection began in 1977 when it became the home venue for the original Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the original North American Soccer League (NASL). In 1998, it was refitted for soccer to house the Miami Fusion in Major League Soccer, but the team folded in 2002. It was also the home stadium of the Florida Atlantic Owls football team from 2002 to 2010. Later it was the home of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the second iteration of NASL from 2011 to 2016. The stadium site was redeveloped in 2019 and 2020 with the construction of DRV PNK Stadium for Major League Soccer club Inter Miami CF.

Fort Lauderdale Stadium was a baseball stadium located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida next to Lockhart Stadium. The stadium was demolished in June 2019 as part of the construction of Inter Miami CF Stadium for Inter Miami CF.The New York Yankees announced in March 1961 that they would move spring training from St. Petersburg, Florida to Fort Lauderdale where a new stadium would be build for the team at an estimated cost of $500,000 with 4,000 covered seats and 4,000 bleacher seats.The Yankees trained at the stadium between 1962 and 1995. The Fort Lauderdale Yankees of the minor league Florida State League played home games in the stadium from 1962 through 1992. The Fort Lauderdale Red Sox played home games there in 1993, after an unsuccessful attempt to move from Winter Haven to Fort Myers (they ended up the following year in Sarasota). The Baltimore Orioles held spring training at the stadium from 1996 to 2009.Fort Lauderdale Stadium was last leased to Traffic Sports USA (owners of the Fort Lauderdale Strikers) in June 2011.

Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (IATA: FXE, ICAO: KFXE, FAA LID: FXE) is a general aviation airport located within the city limits of Fort Lauderdale, in Broward County, Florida, United States, five miles (8.0 km) north of downtown Fort Lauderdale. It is a division of the Transportation and Mobility Department of the City of Fort Lauderdale.

Cypress Creek station is a Tri-Rail commuter rail station in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The station is located on North Andrews Way, west of North Andrews Avenue (SR 811) and I-95, and south of West Cypress Creek Road. Originally opened to service June 12, 1989, the station features a park and ride lot along West Cypress Creek Road between North Andrews Avenue and I-95. Another parking lot is located across the tracks at a cul-de-sac named Northwest 59th Court.

North Andrews Gardens was a census-designated place (CDP) in Broward County, Florida, United States. The population was 9,656 at the 2000 census. It is now annexed to Oakland Park, Florida.

Calvary Christian Academy (CCA) is a private Christian school located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. It was established as a ministry of Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale in 2000. CCA provides education from Pre-K3 through 12th grade. A full-time daycare is also operated all year. The school is accredited with the Association of Christian Schools International. The student population totals to more than 1,900 and the student teacher ratio is 12:1.

Oakland Park, officially the City of Oakland Park, is a city in Broward County, Florida, United States. As of the 2020 United States Census, the city's population was 44,229. It is part of the Miami–Fort Lauderdale–West Palm Beach Metropolitan Statistical Area, which was home to 6,166,488 people at the 2020 census.
